Bunny Nabbed For Stealing Carrots-Welcome Spring Poetry Contest

There once was a bunny named Devin
his siblings and he totaled seven.
One day while out hopping
and mummy was shopping
the carrot patch 'twas seventh heaven!
When from shopping his Mummy returned
she was none too happy with news she'd learned.
Said she to her bunny
stealing isn't funny
and this may be a hard lesson learned.
Devin's dad was the Easter Bunny
made him forfeit his pocket money.
Tonight I'm real busy
and I'm in a tizzy
help out and I'll forgive you sonny.
With Easter eggs piled up to the hilt
Devin’s keen to be rid of his guilt.
Easter Bunny and son
quickly got the job done
Devin's dignity's now been rebuilt.
