A Tale of Two Clinics
The young couple had tried for years but it wasn't meant to be
In shedding so many tears of a baby they might not get to see
As again they went to another doctor for he could be the one
Though now nearly poor they just wanted a daughter or a son
Across town was another building much busier than the first
They were of the opposite guild as I could of said a lot worst
Money was paid for the opposite and two now becomes one
Something no one will admit and then it's all said and done
A young woman leaving as the couple passes by on their way
No your eyes aren't deceiving this just one in a very long day
Then the light turned red as that very woman began to cross
No matter what I said, I couldn't describe their feeling of loss
As soon the light had turned, her sad eyes so intently trained
For in one what had yearned, in the other it had only drained
Now too far away to see she turned back around in her seat
Thinking if only that was me, how our life would be complete
