                   The Light Of Nativity

           A bright star was born in the sky
                 On the night of Nativity
          Dazzling viewers` eyes up so high
               At Bethlehem with piety;

    The resplendent light spread wide and far
          Heralding birth of the Lord`s Son
         And brightened hearts of man afar
            For many predestined reasons;

           A small babe laid in the manger
          Revived the delight of shepherds
            The pure joy of Virgin Mother
        And of learned men there gathered;

         The Saviour was born on that night
       Amidst the snow-capped Holy Ground
          Sublimed by the shining starlight
       Where Christendom sprouted around;

           With wreaths of peace and piety
           The Lord`s unique and Only Son
                   As symbol of divinity
            Was greeted amidst the season;

      Hailed by the chimes of the divine bells
         Amidst the tunes of sublime hymns
              The Messiah was to foretell
          Godly changes in space and time;

       The Saviour was born on that night
         To lead His shepherds to the shed
       To brighten their life with true light
         Away from dull darkness, instead;

              The Divine Son of the Lord
             Was visited by distant kings
         And learned priests who did afford
         Gems of sublime missives to bring;

      Over time the Lord`s Son dished Words
         Of love and peace to His Shepherds
           Divine words to nourish the soul
          And make a man a human whole;

               He uttered words of piety
                 To relish deep fraternity
                In the midst of calm unity
               From mouth of His Divinity;

               He taught words of sincerity
              Gushing from His own purity
        With sublime stories to His shepherds
         Who hailed them as gems of rewards;

          He fanned the gem of faith and trust
                 Of shepherds in the Trinity
              In His Father`s Grace as a must
                  And in human true dignity;

          In time by some traitor`s slant voice
             He was betrayed in torpid noise
          And nailed on cross from head to toes
               Amid the din of pensive woes;

               Yet with heart of a divine dove
              And woeful whispers of true love
                He did forgive the sinful hands
                Who nailed a divine living Man;

             Shepherds and the smitten Mother
             Grieved the death of His Only Son
             While onlookers vied with pleasure
                  The burial in a warm season;

                Yet on the morn of Easter Day
                 The stone cover of the grave
             Was found rolled away on the way
         And none the dust and bones could save;

            The Lord`s Son had flown to Heaven
                 Where rests His Soul all again
           To watch shepherds from His Mansion
                 In peace human life to sustain;

                       On divine Nativity day
            Let`s chant hymns of his divine fame
                Let`s us mark it as a special day
                    And honour His godly name.
