God and I have always had a complicated relationship
He's put me through so much shit
But I think "Maybe it's to make me a stronger person?
But then again, why would He make one of His children suffer so?"
However,
The other night I had a dream about my old youth pastor, Cary
He was a lovely person
He understood my troubles,
And he tried to make me see the brighter side of things
When I awoke
I felt a deep longing in my chest
Was it for my old friend?
Or was it a realization
That I ought to brush the ice off my shoulder
And turn to see a God that may love me?
Or may not?
