I have no such fears I may cease to be

I’ve no such fears that I may cease to be
Before my pen has picked my spilling mind,
Nor that seeds sowed may never get to grow,
Nor yet my wish is ripened fruits to find.
Enough for me if some flowers they bear
On youthful plants that ever stay tender,
Long as I take a nourishing fair care,
Let my starry passion keep its fervour.
And then I wish when time’s ‘pon me to leave,
My soul wings my subtle desires of pen,
That a magic spell inspires me one eve
Upon a new land to carry on then,
Till no poetry’s left in my mind’s den,
No more themes thought, no more ink left in pen.
