Times Three

There was a man that bought a piece of land.
He was very happy. It was everything he wanted.
There were;
tall trees,
a small brook,
a birdhouse,
a playhouse,
a farmhouse
and joy.

Then he found out that there were really three pieces.
The first man had bought the center cut.
The seller man had given the other two sides, two his daughters.
Then he had died.
The daughters gained.

They were from another place far away.
They really did not understand the value or worth,
of what they had received.
Things we do not earn, often weigh this much.
It is unhappily true.

The first sold her piece for cash, quick as a bunny.
Not to the center but to a stranger. Sad…
The center never knew until too late.

The second piece… the daughter demanded 4 x’s the price.
She wanted it from the center as if it was owed to her?

The man that bought the land, he was still happy.
The seller man had put his heart in the center.
He felt even after knowing all that he had learned…
That he had found true happiness,
in being satisfied.

Premium Member Quick As a Bunny

As quick as a bunny oh those were the days
Now if only at attention he'd stay

Mr. Happy is who we're talking about here
He still performs well so have no fear

He gets out of breath faster than he used to
He's really happy for less abuse too

At times he literally had to go into hiding
Was totally exhausted from slipping and sliding

But those days are gone, he's a sleepy old soul
Even has trouble finding the h..e

Just about lost it, can you forgive this old duffer
Every damn day it sure gets tougher

Old age has more problems than squeaky old knees
Feel kinda sexy each time that I sneeze

So now you'll know when old age comes nigh
Sure hope yours works better than my old guy

Leave One Cold

Leave one cold

He hopes. Hoping. Hopefully,
this wouldn't end as quick as a bunny.
The last time he saw her,
was the last time they met there.

She came as easy as 1,2,3,
does that mean she'll leave expeditiously?
Questions in his mind gone wrong,
answers can be found in one last song.

He shouldn't get tired,
when that girl left with pride.
She shouldn't be gone,
there's no way to run.

Memories they had must be clear,
when no voice already from her to hear.
When she leaves like a bubble,
set her free like a cold candle.
