On a Halloween dusk
I was given the main task
To make a vlog of a huge haunted house
And the camera man was my spouse.
So right at hot Halloween night
When dog’s howls preluded the full moon light
We slowly opened the dusty heavy door
But chills drilled down our bones to the core.
Welcomed by the black curtains of cobweb
Right there in our eyes, so hard to believe!
Over ten skeletons were loosely hanging
At the house’s roof with hole, no ceiling.
When I started to speak on my microphone
Background on cam turned out as dancing bones
Harsh voices over mine saying, “Leave this place!”
So, we dropped our things and ran out in a race.

IT CAME PEEPING HOT
PRELUDED WILDLY BY MAD WINDS FROM THE NORTH
WHICH BEAT AROUND THE EARTH,
SINGING THEIR FUNERAL SONG, BRINGING DEATH.
AND CATTLE STIR 'WAKE
FOR PASTURE FADES AWAY, KILLED BY THE QUAKE;
HEAR! WEEPING CHILDREN-
EMPTY BOWLS IN HAND AND ENERGIES DRAINED.
THE WINDS COME AGAIN,
CLOUDS OF DUST SIGHING AWAKE! OH CAIN!
"WHERE ARE GONE THE RAINS?"
I DIMLY HEARD IN BED, FEVERED HOT,IN PAIN.
