would you trust anachronistic revitalization by youthful tastelessness ?
underline your forgotten manipulability
in ripped knitwork or
delineate godlike bedding from nympho childlessness ;
paralyze and mummify our preteenager psychopathy
with predetermined celiocentesis .

willows gnarled limbs
curving in out and above
furniture ready
Back in her day, she had been a pliable kitten they said
Wondered about speaker’s sanity, had he landed on his head?
Two pairs of amber eyes followed me as I wandered from room to room.
I halfway expected these two to push off on a broom
Angels assigned faeries to Patty.
To give her a warm welcome to heaven
They eased her in gradually,
Telling her bits and pieces at a time.
Showing her that she had left her body
But reminding her that she will have a new body
They replicated her home bed.
Knowing that she has been through a lot.
The chemo had taken her blonde hair.
Now she had it back, and her health too.
Faeries! She said, delighted, not caring about her death.
Remembering now that death is not permanent; it is pliable.
The body may be gone, but the spirit lives on, in faerie land.
Her easement was a reintroduction
to where her spirit began prior to this lifetime.
My chameleonic self agreed with Two and Ten.
Eight and Nine felt differently, yet, I agreed again.
Three and Seven came along with other ideas yet.
Eleven agreed and quickly became my favorite pet.
Six and Five heard about this. Rapidly sought me out.
Four thought it great when I kicked ideas with One about.
But my chameleonic self could not agree with One.
His ideas were sound, but teasing him had always been great fun.
Twelve was nowhere around, but was even more flexible than me.
So I turned him into a Dozen, and we ate blueberries with tea.
