Decades ago, a severe drought took its toll
And many parts of the U.S. became a dust bowl
To control the erosion of the soil
The Kudzu plant was introduced amid the turmoil
It grows at a rate of a foot per day
Smothering other plants in its way
In all directions it will go
With no indication it will ever slow
It cycles nitrogen through the soil at a high rate
Doubling nitric oxide emissions with no sign it will abate
Though a plant that was once in need
In the 1970's it was demoted to a weed!

Hey babe, I have a confession to make.
When you and I first met, a perfectly inelastic collision must have happened,
Because now all I can do
is to stay by your side.
When you and I first met, I know we’re a one-to-one function,
Because you are
My only solution.
When you and I first met, You got me falling for you,
and I can’t stop
According to Newton’s first law.
Babe, so tell me that you love me,
Because you are the
Counterclockwise torque
That is turning me up.
Tell me that you love me,
Because if I am silver chloride
You must be nitric acid
The only one that can completely dissolve me
And break into my heart.
Tell me that you love me,
Because I want to know that we are not two lines
On different sides of a vertical asymptote
Whose futures shall never cross.
Give me a chance to be your nth degree taylor polynomial
That is tangent to every little bit of you,
So tell me that you love me.

The Metal plunged into the nitric
acid mix releases yellow fumes.
Heavy workman's gloves.
Ventilation...
The acid splattering onto the skin
burns leaving yellow stains.
Apply water.
The image now etched into the metal
bubbles where the image is left raw.
Ventilation....
Gas mask and eye goggles.
How do you know how long to leave
the metal plate in the acid?
Timer.
Deep etches left in longer,
create deeper grooves.
Your Love is like nitric acid
Eating away at my heart.

Bitumen on the copper plate covers it entirely, evenly.
With a needle, she draws her picture, the point of the
needle revealing the raw copper underneath.
This raw copper is the part that is eaten by the nitric
acid. Now,she must concentrate on the drawing, bearing in
mind the final print will be the reverse of the image she
is rendering while she carefully draws the image.
Wearing a face-mask,apron + two pairs of heavy duty gloves,
her sihouette approaches the prepared nitric chamber..
