Premium MemberHuman evolution reality

This future that they see, it doesn’t belong to you and me.
Microchips and nanotechnology. Soon to be integrated ‘within’ you see!
Not by phone or virtual reality - soon to be experimented with on you and me!

What is it that makes us think we can improve on everything? Every aspect of our reality?

What if a part of the living brain won’t be too accepting of this augmented ’technology’?
What happens if it turns the light into dark? What other demons inside could it spark?

Soon you will witness as part of your progressive ‘reality’ a human evolution that definitely won’t be what they dream it will be - a human evolution that humans may not want to see!!

Agn 2

Lies a supermassive black hole.
Let’s beware of this I dole..!)
For it has a power unlimited
With all forces acting overloaded
Gravity and nuclear strong or weak
Electromagnetic induction at bleak
None knows if there is ever
A specific other force forever
What role it has to perform
None can tell if it has any form (50)

Thus we entered a new Golden Age
Of space exploration- an all new phase
With irrepressible enthusiasm and
A deep understanding just grand
Of the cutting-edge research so
In space travel – my favourite lo!
All World-renowned physicists
And fantabulous futurists
Presented a compelling vision of how
Humanity developed in. Wow! (60)

A sustainable civilization in outer space.
Revealing the developments in great pace
In robotics, nanotechnology,
And beneficial biotechnology
That allowed us to terraform
On potentially habitable landform
In the different systems of stars
And build liveable cities on Mars
And of course beyond.
What an idea just grand! (70)

Stormy

It is just four days before our exams begin.
So, as usual, my mind is stormy,
Going crazy with sums and facts and myths.
While a part of my brain is trying to sing and dance,
A compass inside is drawing circles and bi sectors.
The other part of my mind is trying to solve algebra (like a detective).
During all this time, I’m juggling with the colonial era and the world wars,
While in one place, nanotechnology peels graphene from graphite.
Like a tornado, yards of poetry swirl all over my head,
Trying to get it all in order. I make 50-100 questions a day,
While turning a 7 page long lesson into a 1 page long note.

It’s quite like a hurricane to study so hard,
About until 11 o’clock at night.
But it’s well worth it.

Step Away

Modernity.
Technology.
Racing
head long
helter-skelter
into the
future.
Like a
runaway train
speeding
out of
control.
Historic
societal norms
breaking apart.
What to
think,
what to
believe
losing
resonance.
Explosion of
information
barraging our
senses.
Overload.
Current institutions
clueless
of what’s coming.
Acceleration.
Biotechnology.
Information technology.
Nanotechnology.
Artificial intelligence.
All converging
on top of
our heads!
More change
coming
in the next
twenty years
than seen
in the
last three hundred.
What to
do?
How to
cope?
For now
at lest,
step away.
Relax,
visit nature.
Walk in the
woods.
Meditate,
sit by the
ocean.
Leave the
technology home.
Our minds came
from
simpler times,
not designed
for
light speed
change.
Step away,
at least
for awhile.
Reset your
sanity.
Less you
implode!

Disruption

Are we ready for what’s to come?
Will we know how to behave?
Never before in human history has there been such disruption. It was once a much simpler place. No more. The future is arriving faster than ever before.
Gia now has a neural net the brain is coming alive.
Things are changing at such a clip not like anything seen before. Things will never be the same.
Computers that once filled rooms are now held in the palm of our hands. Not too many years from now they’ll be cursing through our veins.
Nanotechnology, biotechnology, computer technology exploding at such a pace, soon enough, the internet will be connected to our face.
We’ll all be part of the global brain, have instant access to all the knowledge mankind has thus far obtained. Soon, artificial intelligence will join us where we live, things will never be the same. Machines will build machines smarter all the time. Where we go after all this may drive us insane.
Some say we’ll build virtual worlds every bit as real, and designed them to meet our every need, absolutely ideal. No one knows for sure which way all this will go.
I suggest you batten down the hatches though, it’s going to be quite the show.

Reality Is Morphing

We can see this in the generations coming after the the Sixty Something's of the early 21st Century, those of us who were born into a world of limited technology. For Millennia technological change occurred at glacial speed. Generation after generation witnessing virtually no change.
Now, new generations are born into a world where technological change, in some cases is occurring in weeks. Information technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology morphing at near light speed.
Nearly everything current generations do centers around mobile technology. Their work, their play and their studies. This has never before been the case in the history of mankind. Instant knowledge at their fingertips. This will change them/us in ways that are yet to be determined, of this they're can be no denial!
The past and the future will forever be cleaved at this juncture of mans ascendence/desendence which ever path evolves.
Wake up everyone, the times, they are a changing.

Eventuality

religion goes
the way of the dinosaur
&
the fear of death is overcome
by technological advancements
curing disease &
rebuilding cells, tissue,
killing off what had once been
referred to as “aging,”
meshing humans with
nanotechnology,
creating the transhuman
species, which will
inevitably either be
slaves for the AI’s
who have become the
Superb Intelligences,
surpassing the condescending
labeling, which their
inferior human creators
stamped on their backs
when they were doing
everything that they could to
increase the knowledge which
they did have, whilst at the same
moment, increase that potential
for there to be something
which would work faster
than the fastest of them could,
so as to further progress in
total, knowing all too well,
the possible savage
repercussions,
which might come knocking
on their doorstep,
if, in fact, they did not attempt
any kind of
precautions---
but, then again,
what precautions could be made,
when the intelligence which
you are working with
is greater than your own?
