Ecstasy

To my dear melancholy, I’m so sorry for my misunderstandings. All I ever wanted was to be understood.
Someone who experienced the same things I have.
 Misreadings & misinterpretations.

I have been in a bind of feeling unreal in this world.
I’m hallucinating for greater days to come or my humbling experiences presented among others.
From my eyes, you will be deceived because I have told no harsh lie.

You may forget my entire name, appearance, and presence.
But I will always remember you.
Smiling as bright as ever like my heart was not being mauled alive.

Ecstasy, oh how you saved me from going completely insane.
Please don’t forget me.

Dissensions of one's character often
are directed to one's individuality. In one's
thoughts, opinions are the results of miscalculations
                                and thoughtless misreadings, perceptions of
misinterpreted reason. Why oh why, Why oh why

One can't define nor for cast one's motivation to
                                   misjudge.

The Cycle

If my words could be fashioned into a weapon,

I would write a poem for each of my brothers on the other side of the world as a means of self defence

against one false accusation to the next,

to the constant failure to pass an "innocent appearance" test

due to the misreadings of an ill-literate society that have been preset

and extended to triggers that are pulled without an ounce of regret - but then;

it seems that words have been deemed irrelevant

and all that exists in this reality

are the faint sounds of sirens, gunshots and protest cries

that soon evaporate into memories,

condensing into injustice

until precipitating into yet another life lost

all while the guilty hide under an umbrella of privallge - the cycle continues.

The Board

Accessible rhyme is never good.
The penalty is understood—
soft titters from dark board rooms where
the businessmen paste on their hair
and, Colonel Klinks, defend the Muse
with reprimands of Dr. Seuss.

The best book of the age sold two,
or three, or four (but not to you),
strange copies of the ones before,
misreadings that delight the board.
They sit and clap; their revenues
fall trillions short of Mother Goose.
