Success
by: Tillie Mintz
People say they want to be successful and go far in life
But really, they don’t know what that includes
They don’t realize how hard it is to be successful
They don’t realize they can’t give up.
People say they want to be the top of their class
But really, they don’t study
They don’t realize the time they need to put into it
They don’t realize they have to try.
People say they want to go to college and play a Division 1 sport
But really, they never practice
They don’t realize they should be practicing everyday
They don’t realize that they have to work for it.
People say that they want to go far in life
While most people say this; they don’t mean it
They don’t push themselves, they don’t want it as much as they say they do
Yet people want to be so successful.
Success is like a clock that keeps ticking
You either do it right away
Or wait for the last second
But in order to be successful you have to do it the minute you see it.
People can’t give up
People have to try
People have to work
People can’t just hope for success, they have to want it.

This is warning
A simple prose For those
That want to sip Upon the devil's piss
A toxic concoction
Distilled in pits of hell
By unstable goblins
And psycyopathic trolls
Rumble mintz is the brew
The man in the shop Said you'll be fine
Just sip like you would any expensive wine
I woke up beneath a plastic chair
Somewhere between oblivion and reality
With bits of stuff stuck to my face
It feels like I lost the tread
That the space time continuum Has cease to be
Is my body plugged into the mains?
My nerves are on fire
and I can't control my shaking hands
My fingers are all bloody and swollen
Later I am told
I got into argument With a door
And that a wardrobe A
and a couch took his side
I am not looking for sympathy
I just want folks to hear my plea
Enjoy your whiskey and beer
And no matter what you hear
Never ever taste that devil juice
