God allowed us to invent them: chess, mancala, Ludo, CC-saga;
And Candy Crunch Saga claims to be played everywhere
Methinks "On all seven continents, including Antartica."
Earlier I wrote about Candy Crunch, got to Level 300. No caveat emptor
Since I am not an employee, nor am I advertising for CC-saga
H ere I am about to play Level 1291
Ooh a blast, blasting candies of every color, just by swipes -
With all games, there will be strategy, real wins, anger and angst

The Sounds of Childhood
Remember the sounds:
Children on playgrounds,
Seesaws squeaking, squeals,
And roller-skate wheels.
The jukebox blaring,
Old tunes. Girls dancing.
Romantic love songs –
Young girls swoon along.
Mancala marbles.
Clinks in wooden cups,
Loud laughs while playing,
Three cheers for winning.
Boys were bouncing balls.
Laughter filled the halls.
Tap shoes tap, tapping.
Dancers clicked on stage.
Whispers at the phone,
Secrets told alone.
Quiet giggle sounds.
Friends huddled around.
That familiar sound –
Calling children ‘round.
High pitched, sharp and clear.
The whistle blew near.
The coach was watching.
Girls hopscotch hopping
Boys headed to fields.
Whack! Baseballs and bats!
One day, I grew up.
Where were all the sounds?
Joy became silence.
And laughter was bound.
Yes, I remember.
Sounds of childhood ways,
Memories that stay
Oh, those happy days.
