Whisper whisper in the night
Hold your lover oh so tight
If in the morn she is gone
Somehow you must carry on
Secrets secrets lovers share
her eyes covered by long hair
Do you know her you think so
Pleasured moments taken slow
Questions questions where did she go
Answers not found you do not know
She disappeared before daylight
Why has your angel taken flight
Sorrow sorrow deep in your soul
Where she once lived there is a hole
You wonder did she ever care
as you sit and mournfully stare
Shouting shouting to the sky
Tears erupting from each eye
How could the heavens be so cruel
Perhaps you're just a lonely fool
Waiting waiting is it true
Will there be a lover new
Can you trust her you hope so
a new person you don't know
Smiling smiling ear to ear
Your soul mate is finally here
Holding her close but not so tight
You have no fear that she'll take flight
Hours hours become years
Happiness grew from your tears
Kisses hugs a love that's true
She's the perfect one for you
Moments moments children two
Parents now but not a clue
Twins a gift for lovers to share
You are such a happy pair
I'm so perplexed, so perplexed
Did I just send that nasty text?
I’m so bewildered, bewildered…
I hung out with the wrong herd
I need tons of godliness
I need some gladness
I need some happiness
I need to make progress
I want to do the impossible
Please love me till I am able
I need your glorious, gracious godliness
Need many, many traits of righteousness
Christ, come now
I need You somehow
I need that Kingdom of God
Yes, I vertically nod…nod…
I need tons of godliness
I need some gladness
I need some happiness
I need to make progress
I want to do the impossible
Please love me till I am able
I need your glorious, gracious godliness
Need many, many traits of righteousness
I’m so lost without You near
I’m so lost and I am in fear
Give me endless cheer
Wipe away my tears
I’ve been lost for years
Hold on to me, my dear
I’m so alarmed, but I need to be brave
I’m so alert and aware – I need to behave
I need tons of godliness
I need some gladness
I need some happiness
I need to make progress
I want to do the impossible
Please love me till I am able
I need your glorious, gracious godliness
Need many, many traits of righteousness
I need Your Spirit of grand, pure hope
Your beautiful soul is glowing so dazzlingly
I am slowly hanging on my very last rope
Take me far, far away from mere captivity
Gone!
Taken in the night
Stolen, stripped, usurped
What word could describe this treachery
Oh Yes, the warnings came
But I never considered the possibility
That it could be lost while held so tight
Even as I closed my eyes it was there
The thief, I'm sure, is most pleased
How cruel can one stranger be
How cruel of life
That other wise I wouldn't know
If not for when I stand
My back and knees say so
There are those I suspect of this heinousness
The new kids at work, it seems
With all the pep that I once possessed
Surely it was them!
But could it be, my own children?
After all, They did at first insist
With their music screaming
And me complaining
Turn it down, It's too loud!
Where is that wisdom that I've heard
That comes from all the things we've seen
Foul! this thief made off with that
I'm just as simple as I ever been
Except, now I don't recover as well
From slips and trips and stairs and steps
And I hear it's only going to get worse
Say the folks that had warned me first
And as for the years I watch
Will keep on coming
Just like a thief
A giggle Land where we cannot go.
0f pink fingers and crystal clear eyes
Forever azure springs and sunlit skies,
A place of talcum powdred .souls.
Unaware , from this life, they were taken
God did create this oh , so special place.
Angels never let them knoew they were forsaken.
To keep a smile on their dear, tender infant faces.
Squeaky toys and cuddly, soft teddy bears
Angel mothers do lullaby each newborn to sleep.
One day, with their Mommy,~ they might share
Meanwhile, in the still of the night, mothers weep.
Sleepless, they wonder, how is my child doing?
Their life always has a lost, dark empty space.
Does my baby need me, or is he just cooing?
The mother can ask for forgives and God’s grace.
But she wonders, very often what ‘s my baby playing?
You see, that is the story we are never told.
On her knees alone, each night, she is praying.
The Mother ages, lonely, shivering in the moonlit cold!
5/12/2023
Dedicated to my Mother on her birthday., today.
Thank you , Mom, for allowing me to have a life!
Sometimes hard, but mostly years of sugar and
magificent spice!
A silly old love song
From a few years ago
Touched every fiber
Of my inner soul
It described with passion
How I felt at the time
Things couldn't be better
Everything was in rhyme
But time isn't constant
Things start to change
Roles get reversed
And our life rearranged
The flame starts to flicker
Then darkness inside
Again we start searching
For that magical ride
Uncertainty reigns
Our confidence shattered
Things once important
No longer mattered
Until that new day
When we feel it once more
That touching of hearts
Spirits that soar
A silly old love song
From a few years ago
Once more touches
My innermost soul
I din't travel by bus to school
Neither did my mother drive me there
With my friends and cousins
I had the best of childhood fun
During my primary school days
On my way to school
Early start from home
The tropical sun was warm
Kids from the neighborhood
Joined as we marched by
To feel the magic of the forest
On my way to school
Avoiding the main road
And the cobbled village lane
Away from the adult eyes
Swayed by the occult cries
Of the magic creepy crawlies
On my way to school
Shuffling through the silky webs
Of the watchful Arachno- spies
Slowing at the sight of scorpions
And the scurrying beetles and centipedes
We bent and crawled in the woods
On our way to school
The subtle sweet taste
Of the wild cardamoms
Was hardly enough to suck
and spit the pungent seeds
Yet it was a weird delicacy
On my way to school
Shiny purple Passion fruits
Velvety blue wild olives
Inky violet Bovitiyas
Rasamora and blackberries
Stimulated the taste buds
On my way to school
The years have gone by
Dwellings have reached the sky
Cobbled lane has disappeared
Motor cars are revered
I wander what the kids do now
On their way to school
The sacred child on the hill
Buried deep but never forgotten
River of tears
Washed along into an ocean of deep longing
Years pass by
The girl becomes the woman
Relationships begin and end
Happiness brings a new journey
A baby in the making
Driving out old thoughts
Touching her stomach in repentant hope
Sadly, hope dies in the womb
Guilt turns to punishment from above
The sacred child on the hill
Watches the figure coming towards her
Slowly entering the river
Washed along into an ocean of deep longing
The sacred child on the hill
Reunited for evermore..
In a desperate world
Where man is hated
This fur clad woman
Her cyborg pack created
Silvered dogs
Mechanical teeth
Squatting like humans
Engineered breed
She stands there proud
Holding her sword of MacBeth
Forwarding her packs
To hunt for death
The earth now barren
Stripped and bare
Skulls and bones
Lie everywhere
Even the sky
Refuses to come out at night
Even the sun
Refuses to burn bright
This once beautiful planet
Now rancid and wretched
With this fur clad woman
As her cyborg dogs fetch
Who would have thought of man
To be treated like this
For thousands of years
They had already lived like this

Right from my earliest years
the thought of God was there
thinking much of how I came to be
into this world showing your care
I always believed in you O God
You the divine being mighty is He
learning continually from your word
in this I read wholeheartedly I did agree
Read deep spiritual scriptural truth
many years later I saw your light
showed me my sin there since birth
your remedy of repentance for my plight
That crack in my mirror
showed up all of my sins
suddenly realised my need
redemption applied now wins
I came running to you Lord
received in your arms so warm
felt safe secure and satisfied
you are my God true to form
Now every day you teach me
your great truth more and more
learning to obey kneeling in prayer
seeking your face knowing your door
Millie Brown was 12 years old.
Who didn’t like to do as she was told.
She didn’t eat her greens or even brush her hair,
As she’d spend all day sat in her gaming chair.
Oh how she loved video games – all she’d do is play
Every sort of video game every single day.
Not only did she play all day, she’d also play games at night
Hour after hour she played until the morning light.
Her brother played with his bogies, but to her that was not such fun
All Millie wanted to do was play her games until she had won.
She’d play online until she was the number 1; the absolute best
She had to make sure that she was better than all the rest.
Millie Brown was great at video games but not so hot in school
She proceeded to fall asleep in class - her mouth dripping full of drool.
“Millie Brown”, her teacher roared! “You’ve been yawning all morning”
Millie woke with a jolt to the sound of her teacher giving her this warning.
“I’m letting your parents know that you really need to go to bed
If you cannot stay awake in class then I’ll have to keep you back instead”.
It will be detention instead of games for you indeed Miss Millie Brown
Her teacher rambled on with his warning (his face wearing a frown)
“Please Sir”, Millie Brown cried, “Please don’t tell my dad”
“He’ll take away my games and then I’ll be really sad”.
“I’ll change my ways and from now on and I’ll not be so silly,
I’ll only play a little and ensure I go to sleep” promised Millie
“I know what I need to do and I know it’s for the best
I’ll stay awake in class because I’ll have had plenty of rest”.
So Millie Brown now only played her games a little at a time
She did as she was told and she began to tow the line.
She ate her greens and even brushed her hair,
Because she wasn’t always playing games, sat in her gaming chair.
