Premium Member Flash of Ray of Hope in Dark

Sun sinking down, twilight to fade
Mask of dusty dusk in dark shade.
Pitch black silhouette on sky bed.
We are passing on pathless wood
Both are in fervent frolic mood.

Flashing bright glimpse of sudden spark :
Rainbow of heart hides in the dark !
At night shrill whistle of sky lark :
Path at charcoal night is hazy
               Beauty to sparkle, though whimsy.

              Dull darkness we must overcome
               Our enthusiasm : Awesome .
No rest : We wander at random .
Beauty lies in zest and zeal
while we are venturing in thrill.

We run haphazard, not rhyming :
Darkest night ! Morning not showing !
Our dormant desires are swimming !
               We’re running rushing in rapture
Ray of hope at dark to capture .

Hearts were throbbing in No Moon night.
With darkness, our vision to fight.
Expecting hints of ray of light.
We were searching sky - album
for flash of our amour- spectrum.

DIZZY

         Carefree yet carefully careless.
Prompt to break one in three pieces.
Three being given, two he loses.
            Devoted in actions useless.

            Peculiar not to compare.
           A single piece without pair.
If asked for tea, juice to prepare.
Torn shoes work fine, not to repair.

           Not absolute total bogus,
            But derided, ridiculous.
             Talks meaningless superfluous.
             Guy came direct from Damascus.

As vagrant mostly lives in camp.
            Even if weather be damp.
But in sports always a champ.
           Also, lovable chap as tramp.

           To identify too easy.
           A little bit weird whimsy.
In odd work keeps himself busy.
Who is he? He is the dizzy.

Whimsy that whispers, in hushed tones
A music so blessed – hearts never alone
It’s light, love and laughter, in our bones
Beyond these Blue Ridges, lives a song

Song of the mountains, in hues of gold
Blessings and gestures of faith that stills
Proving His Presence never grows old
He is the promise that fills up my soul

Gentling pleasures like grace that abides
Inside the spirit where love never dies
He is the wisdom that hope soon confides
Resting in His music is a joy that inspires

Daydreams and visions of hopes that last
His light pours out sweetness over lives
Reassuring with blessings, coming so fast
Writing poetry in our purpose, a ballad inside

In gentle woods, where the leaves all say
Whatever winds come, praise God all day
Listen to the stillness as the birds pray
Rising from the branches, flying away

Glorious treasures are found in this town
Where music blesses, leaving light behind
Writing our stories, never laying hope down
We’re given His love, without the tiniest sound

In the silence, there comes praise from within
He is the reason we are blessed so completely
Because He’s the Savior, He can forgive our sin
And give us life everlasting… love that never ends!

If an opera cannot be played by an organ grinder, it's not going to achieve immortality. By Thomas Beecham
                _________________________________________

Only a rival who never yields may alter reality,
From birth to death, beats thrive—no mortality.
Crashing core causes a cosmic climax of chaos,
Fierce floods float the forlorn fable of pathos.

Dwellings were buried by a conundrum.
The slope has swallowed the humdrum.
Dusk of the mind is gingerly complete.
Gazing at crimson flies worn rilling feet

An ancient quiet trail—for waves and wind.
Ragged timbre limbs—cracks are left behind.
Tombstones had been raised from the quayside
The last organ grinder and another army replied.

Over lyrical, his weary fingers can play guerrillas,
The last organ grinder is a throwback to bygone eras.
Camarilla would gather heralds, full of delight,
While fiercely turning—crank with all his might.

Forum from which fantasies fly and faith flourish
The sounds that the organ grinder may nourish.
He sang songs of suffering, whimsy, and anguish,
Sopping a range of feelings across—till languish.

Rumors raced to spread slander in solid deceit,
Selfish ghost-face snitch won a vexed word beat.
Lief spins fearfully. Cover up, ladies and youngsters,
Slaying in session, straddling on wings of musters.

A Walkyrie-lanced loop loom is a lethal lethe lie,
Blood dough whispers emerged and could decry.
Tarnished thrash tittles—timorous tonic ties taught,
A fabric-picked spying plot caught by a grim sought.

Saltwater swindler screams sought signs of a spider
Gloomy guile grins gushes on ghastly organ grinder.
It's the witching hour, and a trigger finger is itching,
I heard awful news and saw empathy fuel snitching.

Grab that whimsey, don't wipe the blow.
The feeling, of fear, starts to grow
Creepy tendrils that dart around
In your head, they can't be bound

Unleash the power of your poetry,
That is what empowers the poet free.
Let it flow from heart to page,
And let your imagination rage.

Sunlight illuminates the abyss of my heart.
But gloom lurks, for betrayal shreds apart.
The simplicity that I used to consider dear.
Leaving me stranded and packed with fear.

An emptiness consumes my soul,
Yet an urge to write, to brand me whole,
To pour out my pain, my sorrow,
To find a glimmer of cheer for tomorrow.

My pen becomes my only friend,
As I strain to comprehend
The reasons behind the deceit,
The lies that brought me to defeat.

But in my words, I find a way,
To heal, to mend, carpe diem the day,
To rise above the welt and pain,
To find the light, to love again.

The valley of my heart may be scarred,
But with my pen, I can rebuild, discard
The darkness that once held me down,
And rise up, stronger, without a frown.

Stop resisting and start writing.
The pen is bleaker than the sword.
Each draw, each stroke, each sighting.
Unshackle the force of your words.

Cinematic overture
Chagall’s whimsy
Dracula and the dinner guest
Dessert invitational
Dueling hearts

A thousand mirrors old
Stories from the pages of history
Abracadabra
Hungarian rhapsody
Mountains of Bavaria

Tiger eye quartz
Falling from the heights
A storm is brewing
The earth bleeds
The doomsday clock

Eyeing the hour glass
Of weighted crown
Spirals in black and white
Birds of paradise
Moon goddess

Sleeping with prince charming
A snowqueen tale
Brokenhearted sunsets
Sky with no regrets
Love expressed at heaven’s door

Before the echo of raindrops
Exhausting the colors of the day
Open the flood gates
Domino effect
God will not be mocked

The beginning and the end
When all seemed lost
A moment of silence please
Serenity of circumstance
Pearls of perpetuity

Threads of deceit
The fairy tale must end
The winter cemetery
Saturated in solitude
Mourning’s in the eye of the griever

Writing with weeping words
Emotional brush strokes
Death overrules all judgments here on earth
Thirteen seconds from heaven
Tomb of the unknown poet

Death, where are you

Quote: "The lamps are different, but the Light is the same." By Rumi

        ********************

The shame I bear yearns to be set free,
Fantasies conceal what people must foresee.
A whirlwind of visualization—eerie, untamed,
Imagination dares where rules are disclaimed.

How I savor the reverie of zeal embrace,
A peculiar whimsy in a captivating place.
And I must admit, my mayhem is deep,
I roamed in a dream no one could leap.

I discuss virtue when the timing is right,
Hallucination sprouts in the depths of night.
Love and exhaustion long for glitter untamed,
I crave the superb, so easily maimed.

I remain anonymous to forestall disgrace,
My dignity is protected by historical lace.
But truths linger, and mine stands confined,
Ambition reveals the power of my mind.

Hearing apologies is beyond my reach,
Inwardly sustained as emotions beseech.
Each buried object holds a mystery tale,
A single sail has recognized its scale.

This night of silence with its moonglow
offers me a long-sought resolution towards serenity
allowing my thoughts to wander into my past
with a "visualization" to another time
filled with beautiful faces that will never age
    drifting "whimsy" memories
When life was love and love was lived
    like a devotional "dream"
to be captured and injected with fragrant flowers
In a world filled with colorful "imagination"
    and engaged "reverie"

I lift my eyes to the night sky
holding each bittersweet recollection
    When I shared my heart
Remembering each face caressed
that hangs suspended in my mind, resting
like a "hallucination" of motionless yesteryears
When my heart dripped sobs from tender desires
And life was never thought of
Rather lived and experienced, drenched by passing lovers
trapped in emotional landslides of tortured expectations
Leaving too many eyes, I looked into
becoming shadows of stolen, sad years
that weigh heavily in this night of silence
where I'll ask my heart for forgiveness

Premium Member 400 conejos

chill howls
slit needles
from firs
and steer whimsy puffs
to shade the moon
like accordion blinds

summer's last
dying gasps
just below the treeline

snippity
snap dragon
spits sparks
in the dark

doesn't threaten me
but don't want to be
run down by a grizzly
or chased by a moose

just want to be
here with Groot
and 400 Conejos*

you know
all those stone circles in Scotland
were fire rings for Giants
who sat there
pondering
their existence
like me, tonight

I was probably there
I just don't remember

but
I don't remember a lot of things
like what did I do to
be a free man who
feels least lonely
when he's all alone

I believe it has to do with
my twin flame
in an epoch romance
that rattled the cosmos
split trillions of atoms
and still
reverberates

look up above at
that upside down jewelry case
luxurious black velvet
betwixt all that twinkle-twinkles

it's all so vivid now
I live forever...

I could reach up
into that black glass
grab a diamond choker
and collar Venus
were I so inclined

(subjunctive case
if I "were"
not if I "was"
speaking proper
sounds so fuddy-duddy
yeah... I know)

fuddy-duddy me
I probably did

ya know...
campfire smoke and
400 Conejos
pair so well

dragon is growing soft
and blurry
his orange pot belly
slowly snoring
hissing
steamy streams

stings my tears
to feel
my life
yearning for life

I just want to be here
my back on this dirt
my head on this rock
with Groot
grizzly
moose
400 Conejos and
heaven staring down

glowing red dragon rolls over
spewing glitter
like exclamation marks

I hear you

but do I listen

Groot...

grizzly...

moose...

400 Conejos...

do you

do you...

listen to me

ok then...
