-stand Away-

From my youth do I remember
your tug upon my heart.
It has always been you Lord
and your call within my heart.

I have traveled to other lands
of my own choosing through the years;
to kingdoms within and having other plans;
not caring that Your Kingdom nears.

You watched as I sought out other gods
where self sat high on the throne.
But you, my God, have set me free
to the truth that You are God alone.

"Stand away from all that entangles."
Through my calling You've said,"Stand away."
It has always been You, Lord Jesus,
You've preserved me unto present day.

I stand away from what does not honor
You alone in my life every day.
From fleeting treasures through the years,
I daily choose to stand away.

Shakespeare's Legacy

Desire make me flee to England's shore,
to Stafford where Shakespeare wrote
sonnets by candlelight and moonbeams...
Let me open the tall front door,
to see him in that corner weaving a thought,
swiftly turning them into theatrical schemes!
Ah, he weeps for a past tragedy he witnessed,
making those tears flow on clean sheets
that leave him heartbroken and drenched in tears!
Oh, those sad moments seem to disappear
as he dreams of unforgotten faces he loved...
and many say he didn't feel joy but fear!
Shakespeare's spirit is not a phantom whose voice can't
be heard everywhere it roams...listen, don't fret!
Try to glance at his pensive face, read the words of that play
he's writing on paper for all to ponder in a persuasive way!

Premium Member Me - a Myriad of Color

If I was painted blue
would that make me human too?
My eyes are hazel
my hair is brown
my skin, ooh my skin

I wonder what color
I can paint it today
I wonder will that take away
from the person that I am
will it make me less human?

What if I chose red?
I wonder who decided
that I’d be a lesser individual
according to color?

Life would be dull
without the differences
life would be dull
without change
this is my color today…

This is me in all my glory
embracing every curve
red, blue, black, white or brown
in the end it is just a color
it does not determine who I AM!!

Stepping Outside of Distubia

I am found in a extraordinary place
Where time stands still
I was lost
Now I have been lifted off the ground
I was down beneath the surface
Suffocated
Lost in the sea of drowning sorrows
You reached down with your mighty hands
Lifting me up
Showing me dear to believe in love
The is truth in your words
And a style in your ways
You teach me wisdom
I never knew I could understand
You make me realize there more to life
Then the deep depression that we lived in
We grown to know that beauty exists
That each day we prove to ourselves
Together we can make it through it
Strengthening ourselves our love will stand the times ahead
And we will conquer the battles of mental illness we will show the world that
love is stronger than illness.

Seen It Done It

I can hold me breath for years on end
I can fly as high as my feathered friends
Been to the moon, the planets and my home on mars
Without a spacesuit I’ve touched the stars

I’ve walked through the flames that burn in hell
And come out the other side without it’s smell
Have seen heaven and the angels there in
It made me rejoice and shout and sing

I have stood on the edge of an erupting volcano
And played Beethoven’s 5th on the piano
I have brought peace to all the world
And passionately kissed every Soup girl

I am a cowboy and a Mohican
A villain and even a policeman
I can wrestle a croc and kill a lion
Around me waist I have the belt of Orion

I’ve leaped from the top of sky scraping buildings
Without feeling pain I can pull out me fillings
You may ask me how I can do all this
Well I have to tell you my mind is limitless

Michael

Archangel Michael hear my prayer
Help me when no one else is there
My guardian light with all your might
Help keep me strong to win this fight

Your loving light shine down on me
For your mighty force will set me free
I will be strong and fight my demons
Just walk beside me so i’ll not loose all reason

Archangel Michael protect all the weak
Give them the strength to find what they seek
Look after the babies the old and the frail
Surround them with love that will always prevail

Seek out the wicked and show them the way
Get them on track before judgment day
And when the time comes and heavens trumpets call
Enfold me with love and don’t let me fall

Archangel Michael thanks for listening to me
And I’ll see you one day when I’m eternally free

Sing To Him a New Song

Sing unto Him a new song
Praise and worship Him on high
Exalt His name forever
Sing Hosannas to the King

Winds whisper praises to Christ the king
Trees bow your heads in silent homage
Oceans roar a jubilant song
As moonlight enfolds all in silvery splendor

Birds chirp thanks for daily bread
Children sing praises before going to bed
Jesus loves me this I know
For the bible tells me so

Sing to Jehovah a new song
Sing to Elohim all the earth
Sing to El Shadday, the all-powerful one
Creator of heaven, earth and all mankind.

Let lyre, harp and psaltery play
Songs that fall on every ear
Let every living and grateful man
Worship before the Great I AM.

He is Mighty and always will
Dwell within us to the end
Praise Him all let trumpets blast
to the Alpha and Omega, the first and last.

Amazing God

I Still stand amazed
how much God loves us
and turns dull days
into bright sunny rays
how he showers us with love and is like water for our soul
how when we are broken he comes every time and makes us whole
no matter how many times life tries to trip us up and tried to make us drop
God is the one who always pulls us up back on top
I thank you Lord for your love so amazing and so divine
and i thank you Lord that you are mine,
thank you that you set us free
but most of all I thank you
that you came and rescued me,
no words can express the gratitude in my heart and how i feel
for you came to save me both spiritualLy and YOU saved me for real
thank you Lord that that your love and protection
you never fail to release
material stuff may of got broken in my home
but yet me and the kids stand still in one piece,
Lord you are so Amazing your love is so divine
I thank you Lord that you are mine. Amen.

Ink blue/black clouds
Striated with pink
One hole with sky blue
Invites one to just come on
In right here

Crickets singing their songs of the night
Out of tune and out of time
Roosters start up letting me know day is approaching

See the fire ball of sun on the horizon
Shadowed by the trees
The sun is working miracles
Casting its rays onto the clouds

Coloring the clouds with dog tongue pink
One area has sandy beige like the sand on the beach
Inviting come walk on me dig your toes in

The sun rise today is just a tiny amount
Further south than yesterday
Telling me winter is approaching

Some birds come forth with their early morn chirping
The pines stately lift their arms in praise
This greeting makes today my day
