Your words, which seem to be my words,
are but footprints on the fen floor of
the white page, echoes of wand'ring lyric loping.

And if, perhaps, the P's that B have blessed,
they click, they crunch, they sweetly rot underlip.

Tearing words from mind, squeezing through that jealous heartspace.
Tearing follows, wetting page after page, piling into a formless stream.
They clatter upon the mocking whiteness, an array in disarray.
A shattered and graphic mythography, mud clots on tile
after a hike. Why do not my hot words summon Leidenfrost?

I love words, no...I love meaning.
I love meaning, I don't love
the promise of words' bringing of
meaning.

It is National Poetry Month and Shakespeare.
died today.* The first time he died today was
four hundred years ago. I am set to write and read
'publicly' (which spellcheck insists and my heart
does not insist is better writ as 'public ally') some
'poetry' while dancers carve the air, in response to,
in love with, in relation to, hand/heart drawn trees
which have drawn, well-
wishers to wine 'n cheese' 'n chit 'n chat
an opening. A gallery.

But Prince died last night.
The artist formerly known as Prince Rogers Nelson,
and formerly known as a symbol,
and now formerly known as Prince. He died.
The symbol has gone and I don't know what it means.
The words are here behind my teeth, within my fingertips,
astride my heart, tickling that lump in my throat.

It is Earth Day, too. I'm supposed to say some words and make
them meaningful. And make them sing. And ring in the hearts as though
my ditherings are one tine of a tuning fork and the other is the spirits
of those dearly beloved, gathered here. Our coils unshuffled, for in our
sleep of life what dreams may come. But we stand upon, today, both
the funeral's grounds and the corpse to be. The Earth. We are meant
to celebrate her life as she withers. Strangled, starved, and trampled. And I?

I can't.
I just...
cant.

-ShhDragon

*He died today but every day we don't give birth to him with our tongue, on the stages of our heart, he remains a fetid, rotting, beautiful corpse. ’Lo four hundred years ago he died, but every day he isn't summoned, isn't animated, he remains dead. The fact of anniversary is our failing, our repeated failings, to bring forth what might be dead.

The glitter of everlasting Adamantine the tower of sunlight does
not exceed its grandeur of brilliance.

One of a variety immovable monument of stones thus stands its
ability radiating from a white throne within the city of God.

We shall see streets of gold as a city, a bride, adorned for her husband.
Through twelve gates, we shall trod, on twelve foundations so holds
four square, forty and four cubits, city streets of pure gold…
liken to clear glass.

The appeal is ethics natural beauty beyond measure, a Father’s desire
to relate to the children of his pasture, the brilliance of a Son’s love.

O` Adamantine of pure virgin, thy heart’s activity, bestow on me think
again, with love’s brilliant character.

For no glitter, of worldly adaptations of parasitic ego shall exceed the
fixed sparkle of thy legal resources. Come hither, Thy holy glory, Thy
Adamantine supreme, beam across the earthly machine, to the human
minds of the gutter, so confident thy chaste outshining glitter.

O` Adamantine, O Creator thy seed distinguished may I take a walk
upon streets of gold in my new home. Manifest unto open eyes as to
thy principles of press exposed new consciousness in the area in which
I live. Apply appropriate align, outshine thus the rays of the sun for
adamantine forever is author, develop a replenish.

Definition of ADAMANTINE
: rigidly firm : unyielding
These are scientifically proven and believed to be the very microscopic
building blocks of all mass. God particles are paranormal physical
evidence of God’s body of Spirit. One’s natural eyes can see
the glitter of these particles everywhere in masses of trillions
once one’s eyes are trained to see them.

That First Stone

Armchair Warriors are watching
Ever ready to react and criticise.
They know all the theory but not
Looked through a soldier’e eyes.
Young people who were,
For various reasons, willing
To sign away years of life
And take the Queens Shilling.

The training’s hard and tough
But it’s not quite the same,
Deep down inside they know
It’s just a dangerous game,
Preparation for deployment
Out into a combat zone
One of a field unit
Never ever on their own.

Part of that team
Reliant on each other
Shared experience turning
Each member into a brother.
And, until that first action
Not quite sure what they’ll do,
Will that training kick in
And see them safely through.

A tense situation whether
They see action or not.
Training and comradeship
Are all that each has got,
Until, safely back at base,
Until back on safer ground
It’s tine to unwind and
The unit can stand down.

Kit checking and kipping,
Just waiting for the call, then
It’s back out on patrol
And they’ll do it all again.
Decisions made in split seconds
Can later be held to be wrong
But out there at the sharp end
A split second’s not so very long.

And the watchers are watching
That no win no fee legal bunch
Waxing fat on litigation and
The expense account lunch.
Watching and calculating
Just how much they might make
When a frightened soldier
Makes a stress driven mistake.

Out in combat situations
Where the danger is live
And the natural reaction is
Just to want to survive
And those guardians of society
Judge things they’ve not known
And, with hands on their wallets
Calmly cast that first stone.

Advice

I’m sitting on the outside, looking in –
I was once like you;
It seems so long ago now, and yet it’s not
Yes, I can see myself amongst you,
Yet I’m so different now –
A stranger in your midst.
I feel apart,
I don’ belong somehow.
I see the mistakes you’re making -
The same mistakes I made - it’s all experience –
You’ll learn how hard life can be.
Yet in my own way I muddled through
(And I’m sure you will too);
But confusion linger on,
There’s still many things I don’t understand.
I can see where I went wrong,
And I want to turn the clock back’
To live my life again –
Alas no! We all learn the hard way
As you in time will see –
It’s better that way,
Though it seems unfair.
You are all so firm and adamant
Arguing like mad – yet with few reasons
To support you and your opinions.
This is not criticism –
You’re just learning –
Believe me, I’ve been through it and I know .
Given time you’ll find foundations,
On which you can build for the rest of your lives;
You’ll have beliefs and opinions.
Which no-one will deny you;
You’ll be steadfast and sure.
Ready to face the future,
Armed with knowledge
That will keep on growing –
Adults – sensible and responsible,
The future world.
But while you are young –
Enjoy yourselves,
Have fun,
Live your lives for the moment
(There’s enough time to be serious).
Be young while you can
It’s the best tine of your life
(Though perhaps you don’t know it).
These are the times you will look back on
As life passes you by –
So get on with living
And together we’ll remember the good times we’ve had.

Young G Part Two

Young G II

my daddy was a son of a ***** married to an evil witch
long time ago let the truth be told my family was my dynasty
as a young G painting the town in my new Mustang with my girl
crossing the street and a blast a freek hit my ass
broken down falling apart at the seams such an evil scheme
my mother was a whore selling her junk in the trunk behind the liquor store
you know I had it rough this is so true but what was i to do
a loaded plate of fries down at Denny's i was broke living on pennys
still its the bounce of the ounce to the tower of power have to take a cold shower
although those many years have passed still have a god reason to grasp
poetry with music is my thing gets to start that new style swing
got vibrations in anticipation as I break it all down hanging my head as a clown
masturbation, apathy & solace

time has a way to deal with the pain leaving some suckers insane
say you want to be me in a society that never lets things be see you on the flip side squeeze
bury me in the sea of tranquility cause in tine you'll see a good enough reason to be
a big explosion inside yet we want to run away in hide from the frenzy
today we got politicians that no it all they need to talk to the wall
Now the Young G is full grown in his prime created by a higher powers great design
he made it through it all some high yet deep inside he got pain he cannot hide
come along for the ride

In Concernment

She studied the Space exploration
act of 3033 to find where
in history she might
use her Time traveling Machine
It had been said that
she was likely to be seen
as one who interferes in
the activates of space
and would cause others to
form a distrust of her..
Yet she pursued her freedom
to explore space
with the People of Earth in mind.

                      The functions of Functions
Where Space is Topic and Topic
                      All things are Space and
                      the Preservation of Space
Space to be used by Mankind
                      It's recourses explored and considered.

She made a List of People and Creatures who were" The Enemies Of Space"
On planets and Moons: in Nebulas, On asteroids and
Cosmic storms she Captained her Vessel: until she became the enemy in space
and her co-captain rivaled her to secure his position
as Captain. They used force feilds to create her residence on the lower deck.
Their she built a secret tine machine using the onboard computer which spoke to her as she was twenty year prior. Somene made a program that addressed her as the captain she had replaced." The men Called her
An enemy Of Space" due to her dating practices.

Night Mear

Just before morning fall's
the sun peeks on my face
as I lay on my water foam
I look through my window
the sun put's on a smiling face
like the sky so cloud
all I could see is cloud
like the tine voice of my mummy
Singing a hallow night song
the birds at the peek of their voice
Yet I could not hear a thing
In my wild clay room
like my wild dream
I felt so could
as rain drop through my ceiling
In my wild clay room
I was call up from bed
like a king in palace
With tears forge with blood
Which studs as a dish
as I wear a smile of sorrow
In my wild clay room
I see the heavens smile
I wish I could go yonder
Yet I felt hunger
as I walk through the street
been greeted with gift of lashes
I wish I could regart
but acceptance becomes a must
I kicks the bucket a hundred times
but greeted back to life a million times
Conforming became a must
While greeted like a king
If only I could fly
Even if I could fly
I will fly up to no were
like I was greeted back to life a million times
I call to heavens
like heaven's were far from me
yet I could fill it's presence
Just before the sky fall's
I wake up from bad
Oh it was a night mear
My dream My dream.
