Passionate moments filled
with zeal and zest as i gathered
thoughout babbling brooks tainted
an yet brillantly carved from a sudden
interruption of unguided cognitive skills
completely noted as french karma
binded with crued wrath unseen
gripping racing thoughts tinged
with a sensual sadness i'd become to know
very well while quiet times beckons
my inspirational soul casting a beacon light
of faint hues glorious to greet beyond
a calm walk way covered in a quiant emory
of a soft garden full of greenary
a shivering ivy conceal the sorted bliss
that quiets the empty mind between
universal meetings above the hidden stars
reaching the gravity under a rushing spring
sheer wetness bursting from a mist of lost clouds
How ideal to luxuriate
supposed divine right frill
maximizing climate control
with matter of fact bravado
creature comfort pang to fulfill
consequent flagrant portent
to exercise freewill
beware controlled environment
pays hefty bill
cracking heat as
temperature gets chill
cumulative destructive
ecological footprints generated,
thus advisable to swallow
figuratively bitter pill,
herewith suggested
binary/digital quill,
cuz unchecked energy
consumption will
necessitate fossil fuels
subjected to frack and drill
invariably contribute
render moot no rhyme
or reason for Jack and Jill
to hastily clamber uphill
fetching pail of possibly
tainted, ruined, polluted... water
evidenced courtesy eutrophication
algal blooms, decimated krill
aquatic flora and fauna stockstill
meaning... untenable for life
perhaps percolating, spewing, zapping...
seepage from landfill
nsync with detritus
many industries spill,
not necessarily directly
linkedin to cranking thermostat until
warmth ideal for barenaked ladies,
who cavort, frolic,
viz yule eyes imagistic poetic skill
veritably lighting boathouse row
reflections shimmering, scintillating,
glistening off Schuylkill
deceptive brilliant appearance
unsafe toxic drinking water courtesy mill
yens flowing electrons to power
industrial secretes no longer confidential
public knowledge and awareness critical
to stem tide allowing, enabling,
and providing juice to sustain treadmill
ever faster rat race pace of life cozily housing
*****sapiens hermetically sealed against
extreme temperatures,
ye must adapt experiencing chill
bundling layers of clothes -
case in point yours truly,
who also keeps windows ajar
refreshing brisk air lungs to fill.
I'm noticing
you're not noticing
I'm starting to look for
what you've already heard
with anticipation
overpowering my internal anxious voice
with calm
and kind compassion
When Other disharmonious human voices
speak of win/win choices
Or sing
a right-handed dance
within my balanced EarthTribal range
of listening
for sacred silent choice.
I become
my still-maturing surprise,
replacing my "Other" anxiety,
awkwardness
disappointment
About unfocused AnthroVoice insecurities
in suffering Other's compassion,
insufferable curiosity,
predative empathic touching,
yet igniting mellow multicultural waves
of resonant pastel sound,
resilient brilliant sight
And these in-between times
silent solitude sacred rests
between transparent syncopations
of impatient human sounds,
inhumane frowns
Not interacting with same room
or screen-time voices,
thoughts
verb-tainted feelings,
These soulful un-nouned bests
have, until recently,
invited anxious boredom,
apathy,
depression,
aching loneliness,
emotional apartheid,
While now
in this human sound silence
of co-redemption
I absently reach out
for deeply exploring
sounds of Simon's silence.
Negative and positive felt voices
provoking newly found choices
liberty of equanimity,
good humored curiosity about anxiety
stress
trauma triggers
Cooperatively reaching
for anticipating
future eco/ego therapy
indigenous healing
wisdom securing
conserving liberating
internal/external co-passions,
Smiles
and frowns,
ups
and downs,'
transcendent lights
and immanent powers,
remembered lives
projected loves
for capitalized risks
minimized by win/win nutritional opportunities
for nurturing silent
calm and kind
time outside/inside co-invested bliss.
You were always there
Through thick and thin and you knew
But, I stumbled upon guilt…I was poorly built
Thinkin' about you...
I fell in love way too soon
Crushed by misfortune
Satisfaction please?
Unconditional friendship -
Returning the favor happily...
I want to be a cheerful giver instead of a greedy getter!
But, tainted love singed me to the extreme…
Lowering my self-esteem and I just wanna scream
I am so lost!
As low as a puppy left in the streets, whimpering –
What a heartrending scene to imagine…I feel like I’m deteriorating…
Weakening by the hour…the minute…the second
Give me a second chance…please, I beg of you!
I say what’s up to you? And what do you do?
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Say naught…
I’m entangled in this knot
I’ve downright fraught…
You left me to rot
Lay your burdens on me why don’t you!?
You’ll never get my clue . . .
No reply . . .
I am ignored, but I’ve accepted it as normal
Reality can get so cruel – but, I must stand tall
Stand tall, David, you must stand tall and give it your all
Give it your all and try not to fall
Call on Him if you feel like your heart’s in appall
He won’t reject your prayer at all . . .
Dunk in dyes, tainted, nor tinted,
In world, not by its ways weathered;
Come, put a patch of love ‘pon me
That we get not ever severed;
Death, only your shelter is such,
Op-eyed can one sleep undeterred;
Roads wind not any straight for long,
Beware, feet, of their ways wayward.
Birds ask branches: you know wood well,
Who’ll opt, be spade’s grip un-bestirred?
Old memories tend to get blurred,
Milk of life curdles into curd.
I know critics are keen to judge,
Would they, poems unread, unheard?

Remember our High School classes?
Watched you fidget with your glasses.
Slender fingers twirled chestnut hair,
enough to make me stop and stare.
I caught that twinkle in your eye,
envisaged stroking supple thigh.
Then you flashed me your trademark smile,
made perseverance all worthwhile.
Recall when snuck into your house,
not wake your folks, a quiet mouse.
Left your spare key under a rock,
so in I'd come at twelve o'clock.
I'd savour watching you asleep,
green eyes squeezed shut whilst counting sheep.
Snuggled under cotton bedspread,
know you like left side of the bed.
It's been so long, the time is right,
our passion soars like doves in flight.
I just know we're on the same page,
let's move things on to the next stage.
From the rooftops I'll proudly shout,
for in the end, true love will out.
Hearts beat as one, we're meant to be,
what do you say, please marry me?

"What the hell, creep?! I scarce know you!
Twisted confessions make me spew!
Tainted by debased disorder,
can you spell 'restraining order'...?"

I used a more simplistic approach than my usual style as I was trying to put myself into the mind of a stalker - what's going through his head and how would he try articulating that to the target of his obsession? Hope it worked. And now I need a shower... urgh!

Beyond the relics stance tainted feigned glory,
the achievers had gifted us their puzzles,
speckled based best in their field of theory,
like Baia hot baths, can't stomach its guzzles,
aloft or cavernous, or in a quarry,
like those Pyramid guys fuss up their fuzzles,
as rock piles escape while history depicts,
the bookshelves leave those green stains with those quick picks.
Millenniums, centuries, decades, plus years,
anthropologists helped by benefactors,
busy in their research before disasters,
like Baia downed in Naples Bay, off its shores,
letters for funding by their alma maters,
reach prosperous grads where old money outpours,
and achievers will have their dribblings published,
skilled wins the Nobel Prize as greatly cherished.
I approached the building again as always
wearing wires concealed by my unborn child
hunger returned while I feasted on raw
celery sticks and half eaten chicken bones
I'd wonder where exactly I belonged here
among the fallen the dead beings reaching
for honor in a forgotten world where stars
and stripes stare down at humility
while a sudden flush of freedom simply
takes your breath away panting occurs
as air becomes a personal diamond mine
prepared for the willingly to die spies seeking
solace behind enemy lines of stolen dog tags
of rewritten survival skills sending chills of fear
in a childlike expression covered beneath
wartime benefits and maritime housing corporation
tainted beyond the meek the weak who reaps
for us in a senseless notion of where home was found
after we return to glory shores and meaningless
emotional balance trapped in tomorrow's yesterday
"When yesterdays became devoid of compassion",
you became the reflection in my mirror—
the darkness that cast its shadows upon my walls,
the screams that woke me in the dead of night.
Reaching out, silhouettes dissipated into thin air.
When the clock approached the witching hour.
Nothing but my demons were there to keep me company.
Forked tongues whispered insecurities,
poison-dipped lies into bleeding ears,
twisting and contorting what remained
of a false saviour's psyche.
You see, I could not save you from the depths of pain you swam through.
It was pulling us both down, drowning us in murky waters,
choking and gagging on your sins—we kept sinking faster.
The blackness became heavier
until light could not pierce the veil.
Begging me, you pleaded, "Hold on to me just a little longer."
But the weight became unbearable.
I had to untie the rope around our fragile souls.
I had to let you go.
And now I drown in my own guilt
every time I take a tainted breath
in this distorted world.

Dear loved one, It’s me your UNREQUITED LOVER.
In hope I hoped that this day never unveil.
As your WHISPERS still roam free in brain, whispers
and hisses of broken promises.
I nearly fumbled to open my heart once more,
But I once trembled on your mountain of lies.
Stone by stone I was there but there I was not,
Piles of those stones turned into a mountain and far i was pushed.
That mountain’s shadow tinted my heart,
For my heart is dark still, and I thought I was tough like steel.
But you’ve shown how easy it is to steal, once vital organ,
And turn it into a hard and cold object.
But I watched as your mountain of lies Mounts and the colder you become.
The shoulder to cry on, turned into the shoulder that made me cry on,
Never believed in cruelty, but that was my reality.
Surely I didn’t believe that rubbles of stones can incline into this shade of,
Darkness, that blind folded me from seeing the majestic hill up front.
That why I like to say fool me once, and like ancient Artifacts you will,
Be the thing of the past. ©?
