A Fragile Place
In a warm damp place full of vibrant green
Grows life that many have rarely seen
Unspoilt by those who are fuelled by greed
It exists from mother nature's seed
A paradise in colour and sound
From birds in trees to frogs on ground
The carpet moss and ferns grow strong
As bouts of rain each day are long
The mountain tops with melting snow
Combined with rain make rivers flow
Then rush on through to high cliff walls
And cascade down in waterfalls
Our planet is a fragile place
But many just don't see
That if we don't protect our earth
All life will cease to be
We must stop off shore drilling
And polluting earth's blue seas
Our sky and soil is tainted
And they're killing honey bees
We must be better stewards
Before it's all too late
For it we don't take action now
We'll seal our planets fate
