Slipping Into Darkness (From Scenes From Above)

Once again I'm here to testify
Beg your God to bless my life!
Senior citizens point me out as the devils advocate
So extravagant, A prisoner of my own arrogance
Passed a black rose and saw Satan blush
Harrassed so he chose hating a passionate rush
Satisfaction of seeing angels and demons lust
A mixture of culture
Draining elixir, like a blood thirsty vulture
From the bottomless pitts they've cursed this structure
And now I'm slipping into darkness
And I can't sleep
Pleasant dreams were promises
But I've fallen to deep
Now I'm just a lost soul slipping into darkness
Beat every factor but death
The secrets that time won't tell
The shadows and spirits that greed won't sell
Bless the date of my mothers final contraction
Eager thoughts of an innocents gurls erections
Knocked down the door
And told her to
"Close your eyes and spread your legs for your own protection"
You gone take this and with no objections
And if I ever find you
I won't bother to creep up behind you
Splice your tongue, make you remember my mom
Pass the memories around
Let em know you took advantage of a defenseless woman
And left her in the lost and found!
And now i'm slippin into darkness
And I can't sleep, I've fallen so deep
That now I'm slipping into darkness

Premium Member I like to dream, to close my eyes and weave silent worlds

I like to dream, to close my eyes and weave silent worlds,
where silence flows like a silk river under the moonlight,
but when I dream of love, a gentle story like the whisper of the wind,
my heart trembles like a water lily on a glassy lake.
Not that I have been betrayed by shadows or abandoned by wandering stars,
but I have watched love unravel like a spider web in the wind,
felt the lies hidden in smiles that dissolve like mist,
and I wonder, will I ever find someone to soothe my longing?
This question weighs like a river stone on the bed of my mind,
the answer always unclear, shrouded in the fog of doubt and fear,
perhaps the only certainty is that love may never come,
like a siren's song lost in the endless wide sea.
I have seen too much pain, broken hearts, shattered promises,
dreams of smoke scattered by the wind of indifference, people falling,
love has been a game of mirrors for others, a dangerous dance,
and I never knew how to dance among reflections.
So I hide my heart, like a forgotten treasure in a castle of mist,
because the truth is I am afraid, afraid of the shadow game,
where I will be the one who gets lost, the one who leaves without looking back,
already too broken to shatter under the weight of other lost dreams.
Dreaming of love would be like dreaming of a rainbow in the midst of a storm,
an illusion that unravels under the weight of merciless reality,
leaving only the echo of a melody I will never sing,
while my world of dreams slowly sinks into eternal silence.

Premium Member Twinsouls' Abiding Request

l. it was seven octobers of knowing you
through refrains of musk earth and rosette skies ,
we lay with hands outstretched
under a family of flowering trees
riddled with moonlit pearls
feasting on legs entwined, laughing at shared tears.

we were everywhere,
between the falling of leaves and rising of our gazes,
the twilight fondling our fragrant tresses sweet

ll. and so it is,
at some absent place, at some errant time
with strains of our song “lost in space”,
you dashing off with your shoestrings
that meant , “maybe, i no longer care”…
yet, those screeches of madness turned
to wrapping of hands in prayer,
the midnights dark with rattling trees and shared tears

lll. and still, , deep upon our soul's abiding request
we blazed our torches rafting with angels’ praise
through refrains of musk earth and rosette skies,
we vow to sacred, godly rites
that flames in the wilderness will never cry.
yellow roses upon my feet, goddess of dawn
and saint of peace,
there is a lifetime of octobers gathering budding seeds,
if we feel that what is,
can be golden discovery weekends indeed.

Premium Member In the valley of shadows, where time gets lost in memories

In the valley of shadows, where time gets lost in memories,
I wander, lost among fragments of thoughts, in the sea of melancholy,
A soul of wax, enveloped in clouds of uncertainty and fear,
And in the murmurs of silence, I listen to the call of a bitter destiny.
I don't care. In the end, they will overwhelm you, tear you apart,
Just as the ocean waves swallow the sands of forgotten beaches.
Sooner or later, they will see you as you are,
And then, with their eyes of iron, they will disassemble you into nothing.
In the cold glow of the moon, I wonder, without an answer,
Do you see any sign that it will happen?
Or any reason why it should?
No. I believe in the mystery that slips through your fingers,
I know you will fail, for there is something in the universe—a spirit, a principle—
That you will never be able to confront, neither defeat nor quell.
In the depths of your soul, an undefined longing stirs,
A mute song, lost in the echo of cold winds.
There is an unseen force, an energy that defies you,
An extinguished light that shadows your path, an implacable destiny.
In the flow of my consciousness, a painful truth emerges,
A reality that coils around, gripping you with its iron arms.
And in the end, when the curtain falls, we remain alone,
Lost souls in the labyrinth of eternity, searching for an answer,
In a world that has forgotten us, in a universe that cannot be conquered.

Premium Member Through the silver bars of time, you have reason to bathe your eyes in tears

Through the silver bars of time, you have reason to bathe your eyes in tears,
Your soul a grain of sand in the hourglass measuring the turmoil of worlds,
I, a traveler on a ship of shadows, have been shipwrecked on shores of oblivion,
And I recognize, in the gleam of celestial recognition, my misunderstood storms.
Weep, my love, a crystal flower under the full moon, weep without cause,
Dream mists gather over the seas of yearning, where we rowed together,
My words, butterflies of ash that break their wings against the wind of silence,
Under the night's gaze, where falling stars inscribe their ephemeral promises.
Carve a path in the enchanted forest of variegated memories,
Where your bare feet dance on the carpet of soothing leaves,
I have erred, and the echoes of my mistake bloom on white branches of rowan,
Drenched in the cold kiss of the moon, a song lost in the sea of eons.
Lay your sadness on the marble steps that lead to the palace of memory,
Where each stone is a dream tumbled from the carousel of our hopes,
In our deserted kingdom, where time beats to the rhythm of prodigal hearts,
My shadowy king, I the forgotten princess, we find each other in the unseen dance of the flame.
Weep, to water the hidden garden where love still timidly blossoms,
In the depths of our secret cave, the golden fish of hope swim free,
Crafting tapestries from your breath, a living canvas of what might still be,
Oh, Time, arch yourself in reveries of beauty, over the abyss of loss,
To weave for me, in the unnamed altar, a cloak of forgiveness, astral and mythic.

Premium Member I was once a window, a gateway to the unbounded light of the sky

I was once a window, a gateway to the unbounded light of the sky,
Through which rays danced like spirits in the midst of a clear night,
The moon bowed to whisper to me the secrets of stars forgotten by time,
And people looked through me, their eyes full of dreams and hidden longings,
Each gaze was a thread of a story I wove in silence,
But then they began to fear my clarity, the light that shone,
What I let in and what I revealed without asking permission,
So they came with bricks of silence and words heavy as lead.
At first, it was a curtain of shadow, then a plank of forgetfulness,
Then they began to tell me I was too much, too open, too fragile,
And stone by stone, I was walled in a silence of stone,
Not broken, but hidden under a veil of frozen memories,
Not destroyed, but locked in a world where light no longer penetrates,
Now I hear the light as a distant whisper, an echo of the past,
I remember warmth as a song lost in the wind,
People pass by me, forgetting I was once a window,
But I still remember, and my soul still longs,
For the endless sky and the light that sang my name.

Premium Member As if you were a bell chiming on the shores of oblivion

As if you were a bell chiming on the shores of oblivion,
A sweet murmur, yet dim, bathing in the cold waters of misunderstanding.
And the world, imprisoned in the bars of indifference, has forgotten the gentle echo of your heart,
Watching you like a shadow at dawn, in a disjointed dance with its own silhouette.
But you are more than an unknown song, lost among the fields of forgetfulness,
You are an ancient melody lying in the temple of time, waiting to be deciphered.
You have materialized like a precious vessel carved in the rock of fate,
With your coruscated brilliance, yet unseen, in the subtle abyss of consciousness.
Even if the dew of indifference nourishes the sealed flowers of misunderstanding,
You remain like an oak, anchored in the silent soil of love.
Beneath the eyelids of time, you hide the story of the gems, a chronicle of immeasurable essence,
An unsung love song, yet still alive, beating the rhythm of the heart of another era.
In the clouded sky of misunderstanding, you remain that bell full of silence,
With its sound muffled, yet maintaining the harmony of an unspoken epic.
Stretching among the shadows, like a breath from another world, entering the secret history of time.
Submerged in mystery, yet preserving the lofty essence of an unspoken love.

Premium Member If on a silent night I were to disappear without a trace, like a dream that dissipates at dawn

If on a silent night I were to disappear without a trace, like a dream that dissipates at dawn,
No one would notice I had gone, no one would ask where I was or which path I took,
The world would continue its course, a perfect mechanism that doesn’t stop for a lost soul,
And my words, spoken into the void, would float in the air like leaves carried by the wind through dusk.
I speak, but no one hears, just whispers lost in a clamor of indifference,
I smile, cry, unravel, but my presence is like a shadow passing unseen among strangers,
Like empty chairs in crowded rooms, I am there but never seen, never known,
A light slowly dimming, a nameless face, always feeling lost and alone.
I could cry out to the sky, but not even the stars would stir, silent and distant,
I am just a name they won’t remember, a thought too fleeting to be kept in mind,
So if I leave, there will be no surprise, for you never truly saw me,
I lived like smoke in the wind, too easily dispersed, too faint ever to be heard.
Like a song lost in the echo of time, I am too soft to be held, too small to be heard,
I find peace in this absence, an invisible presence in a world that doesn’t stop,
And even if I disappear on a silent night, I will remain a dream floating among stars,
A murmur of the wind telling stories that no one will ever know.
