In the valley of shadows, where time gets lost in memories

In the valley of shadows, where time gets lost in memories, I wander, lost among fragments of thoughts, in the sea of melancholy, A soul of wax, enveloped in clouds of uncertainty and fear, And in the murmurs of silence, I listen to the call of a bitter destiny. I don't care. In the end, they will overwhelm you, tear you apart, Just as the ocean waves swallow the sands of forgotten beaches. Sooner or later, they will see you as you are, And then, with their eyes of iron, they will disassemble you into nothing. In the cold glow of the moon, I wonder, without an answer, Do you see any sign that it will happen? Or any reason why it should? No. I believe in the mystery that slips through your fingers, I know you will fail, for there is something in the universe—a spirit, a principle— That you will never be able to confront, neither defeat nor quell. In the depths of your soul, an undefined longing stirs, A mute song, lost in the echo of cold winds. There is an unseen force, an energy that defies you, An extinguished light that shadows your path, an implacable destiny. In the flow of my consciousness, a painful truth emerges, A reality that coils around, gripping you with its iron arms. And in the end, when the curtain falls, we remain alone, Lost souls in the labyrinth of eternity, searching for an answer, In a world that has forgotten us, in a universe that cannot be conquered.
