What exactly breeds hate...why is it all around us?
I'm always seeing on the news...how others are thrown under the bus.
There has been to much energy spent...always having others to blame.
I wish we could build up...and not just defame.
Poetry is a beautiful platform...where no hatred should be showcased.
There is nothing wrong with writing...about politics, religion or race.
Just be sure to have your facts straight...and don't create more hate.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion...write what you feel and always create.
I wish to believe...that poetry is for certain kindred souls.
Here to share our thoughts and feelings...and watch how things unfold.
I'm sorry for poem of the day...I reacted poorly for all to see.
That's not who I am...or who I want to be.
I didn't have anything nice to say...I shouldn't have said anything at all.
I apologize to all who did read...who am I after all.
No good came from what I chose to type...hateful feelings are hard to budge.
I am so very sorry, please forgive me...who am I to judge.
A classic metal made of vibranium steel alloy,
An offensive and defensive weapon that could decoy;
Though an illusory creation of comical books,
Had become part of culture with pretty attention-hooks...!
A concave disc; thick in diameter; weighing twelve pound;
Designed and cast by Myron MacLain with caution profound;
Captain America enjoyed its glamour in his acts;
And showcased through it exceptional emblematic facts...!
Embodied with strength that could alter the physical laws,
Bouncy in nature; quite conforming to the user's cause;
Power-equipped to face even dynamic storm-troopers,
Hulk's fists or Thor's hammer couldn't harm it; or hard coopers...!
In using the captain's shield Sam Wilson could not succeed,
It boomeranged; came back to captain; curb did not exceed;
Almost forty four miles per hour speed captain could throw it,
No one could comprehend its curve or shift or harming grit...!
Confrontations mounted; war-like situations arose;
Fight with Thanos did the damage; captain couldn't oppose;
Thanos' power with his sharp double-edged sword broke the shield;
Like Samson's fall after shave, captain had to leave the field...!
Yet, did captain give up his fights ever in whole of life?
His shield had brought him fame; did he ever leave his life-strife?
He traveled towards his greatest goal of eternity,
For a shield that couldn't be found midst taciturnity...!

You hold someone down, do what they don't ask, fulfill their wildest dream, to not feel reciprocated, to feel you are being used, while your needs drift down stream.
You endure the pain; you accept your fate every time, ignoring every warning, hoping this one is the last rhymes.
We do this always; we do this cause we are the ones that can handle the pain. We are the ones that are chosen to carry others through the rain.
"I'm never gonna love again" "I'm done trying to be happy", things we have all said, things that have made us all scrappy.
Your emotions run so deep, your emotions are on the edge of your sleeve, not everyone can handle this way, most people will run, most people will leave.
Butt, don't be tearful, don't be sad. You will always find love, no matter how horrible you've had.
Just remember people come into your life as blessings or lessons. Don't hold grudges life is too short, forgive easily and live free of obsessions.
Some people will come into your life to disturb it and cause chaos. The right people will bring you peace without making you feel like a boss.
My thoughts float to the Emperor penguin, showcased in "Happy Feet" finding their song partners. When you hear the right song, you won't have to question intentions. They make you feel safer and more hopeful as kindergartners.
As much as you think being hopelessly romantic is a curse, one day you find the one, you will find the one that will hold you tighter than a compact out of a prostitute’s purse...
No, no, no, that's too dark. Let me try another spark.
As much as you think being a hopeless romantic is a curse, you will soon find the one that will hold you tighter than a casket being held by a hearse...
Wow, dude, could you be any darker? You couldn't be any more darkening with a permanent marker.
As much as you think being a hopeless romantic is a curse, you will soon find the one that will hold you tighter than an arm being poked by a nurse.
M'kay, m'kay that's the one that sounds the best, that's the one that will show I'm not a mess.
A Warrior in Conceal.
In a room stands tall a mirror clear,
Revealing a reflection that deceived the world with a smile.
When I recognized it, my eyes poured out a tear,
And it was clear that the reflection was mine all the while.
It asks my nights of silent tears and struggle,
To expose the truth my false smile would never reveal.
It showcased the unspoken love under my heart's rubble,
And unveiled all my wounds that time could never heal.
My reflection speaks: "Accept and learn to heal,
Don’t run or hide, but face the wounds you bear.
I'm proud of you, a warrior through conceal,
For in your heart, gain strength to face despair.
Next time you stand before me, let me feel
A reflection, freed from past wounds, and completely healed."
Petroglyphs scattered
All over Hawaii
Carved on black volcanic rocks
Mysterious they are
Stoke human curiosity
Unendingly
Human and other forms
Numbers and writings
Carved by the island’s ancient natives
Long before the Whites entered the scene
No one can gauge
What they truly meant
We are left with guesses and conjectures
Lots of touristic balderdash
Me, a frail, wavering human frame
At late seventies
Walked across the blackness
On cracked volcanic lava rocks
Defying winds and sun
The past bloomed
In different forms
Carved on solidified lava
A human form here
Elsewhere a human thought
In an unknown alphabet
Or a secret number or sign
Splendorous indeed
Are the stone writings
Showcased across the island
A tourist’s paradise
They dragged me back to my teenage
When I climbed a rocky peak
Close to my village home
Laboured hard on its head
And chiselled my name
Alongside my heartthrob’s
My name and hers
Set apart by a heart
Pierced by an arrow
In the middle
Sweet, bleeding, passionate
Perhaps, the monsoon rains,
Winds and sunshine
Have undone my petroglyph
What else can I expect
In more than sixty years
Of my residence elsewhere
Away from my native nest
How much I wish
I could again climb that peak
To view my sweetest script
On its unthinking pate
Alas! Am now close to eighty
Can’t climb that height
To view it again
And sing to my past youthful glory
Stars and planets!
Look at it please
Read it aloud to me
The song of my youth
Engraved on the rock
The whole sky will join in
In full-throated revelry
The universe has no choice
Glory all the way petroglyphs
Wherever you are
On the surface of this earth!
I want to mirror the sacrifice done as a Samaritan of good faith by the almighty Jesus Christ.
I hope that I can mirror the pure love for everyone which Mother Mary had in her heart.
I will want to mirror the selflessness which comes forwards in the deeds of Lord Ram.
It would be a privilege to mirror the sacrifice of Goddess Sita as a dutiful partner to her husband.
I wish to mirror the feeling of brotherhood and companionship Lord Laxman showcased for his brother always.
I will certainly be very proud to mirror the devotion as a disciple Lord Hanuman portrayed.
It is not ideal, but I would want to mirror the greediness Mata Kekaiye had for her blood relations.
Someday I wish to experience the release from suffering done to him by Bhishmapitamah while fighting.
I will be very happy to mirror the courage and strength of Arjun as a warrior during the battle.
I would be very proud to mirror the sharpness of Lord Krishna in any situation with anyone.
Mirror mirror on the wall of my heart.
Please help me stay erect and never fall apart.
Wonder's Mother, Misery
Digging up the philosophical topic:
Disputing bliss as the ultimate state.
Argues that striving for worthy causes
is crucial to satisfaction.
Told as a narrative:
I settle for serenity before empathy emerges.
Fortune arrives! Freedom's apostle forsakes anguish
Gifted infinite Bliss, my solace destined deservedly
Stream of clarity meanders a universal language
Friction's absence nestles purity imperviously
Embalmed in Calm's acclaimed lake, swan flossed
Rythemical ripples push potent satisfaction
Praises recited by besotted Constancy credulous
echo honey hive hums of hexagonal exaction
Departing debaucherous City vividly abhorred
Putrid brutality writhes with tired rivalries
Beanstalk brings salvation, stem thrust forward
Garnered ease guarantees Eden's glories
Possessive Bliss demands spellbound devotion
Heaven threatened if Bliss discerns disloyalty
Clouds combine to combat empathy's erosion
Chastise my facile option of blind buoyancy
Fog's fugitives scowl at my serenity tenuous
Big top brandishing condemns complacency
Stampede creatures wet sterile to spectacle
Aloof cautions, storm's rampage prophesied
Thunder's scorn in boisterous cloud growls,
" Are your horizons devoid of curiousity?"
Lightning despises consolation Bliss allows
" Ventures usher insight, mishaps carve tenacity. "
My plaintive protest, " Bliss gives reality reprieve."
Vehement gust howls, " Glassy serenity smothers"
Truth edits template, discards denial' s dry leaves
" Necessary Misery is Wonder's Mother."
"Wonder's discoveries honour researchers who develop them
Trials and triumph craft tapestry immaculately woven
Showcased esteem denies distinction endless spectrum
Taunting tranquility extends pledges inevitably broken."
Narcotic Bliss persuades with privilege of inaction
Compassion scaffolds resilience duly collected
Pragmatic rain alerts to a pertinent maxim
Intrigue's face created by Misery's descendant

Thank you!
A Sonnet for Shereen
Your birth was coupled with a burst of light
You came to make my life joyous and bright
Your smile and eyes did capture swift my heart
Of mother's life you are the sweetest part
I saw perfection in your dainty hand
With just a smile my heart you did command
You snuggled in my arms of love, secure
Oh darling, of this truth you must be sure
Without you here, my sun would cease to shine
You are of a gift of God most precious, fine
Long life and health I wish my darling fair
Whose crowning glory is her raven hair
A lady in your right you’ve come to be
But in your eyes my little girl I see

I Tell Her I Won't Cry
I tell her I won’t cry
She knows it’s just a lie
I turn away real fast
So that the lie will last
But then alone at night
I pray she’ll be alright
And I give in to tears
My overflowing fears...
I tell her I won’t cry
She knows it’s just a lie
Few days and she'll be gone
She'll take our joy, our song
No sweetness of her voice
To leave? Her will, her choice
No one her bed can fill
The house all quiet...still
I’ve know it all along
But it’s hard to stay strong...
I tell her I won’t cry
She knows that it’s a lie
She’ll always be my girl
My precious little pearl
The sunshine in my day
My strength when skies turn grey
My greatest dream come true
The sweetest rainbow hue
My legacy of love
My gift from up above...
I tell her I won’t cry
She knows….it’s just a lie.
