Wishes From Angels

Before my fallen wings I plead
Let me carry out this deed
Find a love in desperate need
Of a white knight on a steed

I already have a girl in mind
Are souls have met forever bind
Lost in chaos, torn in time
She is my melody for this rhyme

If you let me lover her now
I'll go into the lights shroud
Commiting no unspoken vows
Salvaging a princess leaving proud

In her unrest she might die
I feel compelled to save a life
There is no reason or a why
She can't be happy as a wife

A guarding angel I am to her
Send me to your beautiful earth
To enter a chance for rebirth
I am the remedy for this curse

I am speaking to the grim reaper
I need a miracle before I sleep sir
Letting you chase me creeper
Into the darkness ever deeper

Permit me to adjust my sails
Select a crew that never fails
Live through all the grails
Have a romance found in fairy tales

(her)He must be big and strong
Massive shoulders to carry on
The work that's hard and long
To keep me safe and right the wrong

I am sad to be like this
Crying moping and drawing a fist
To the sky, screaming a list
Of my problems little priss

Out of the shadows he came
Bearing white, massive the same
Hushing me to comfort and explain
His business here, also his name

(Angel)My name is Micheal a worrior man
Here to change your coarse of plan
Bestow upon you an awakening fan
That keeps alive with a tan

Escape with me out of this place
Hurry, run, lets make haste
You'll remain dignified and chaste
Where no one can hurt your darling face

We could live somewhere exotic
Live the dream with love erotic
Just be us, excluding the chaotic
To decline is said to be idiotic

Grab an extra shirt and pants
We'll leave right now, expose this chance
To take hold of something with a glance
Of humanity with a slight reminisce

(girl)Alright, we can go
Somewhere warm minus the snow
Sleeping by the fires glow
Seeing more than we know

Somewhere I can where a dress
Running wild without the stress
Enjoy having emotional sex
With a man big in the chest!

(Micheal)You have made the right choice
I admire your sweet tone of voice
The way you walk and your poise
This is our moment relax, rejoice!

To this day I do enclose
A vacation that I propose
You could wear little clothes
Pushing away all your foes.

Crushing and deystroying all your demons!

A Dedication To My Darling Mystic

Dedicated to my darling Mystic Rose...

For my everlasting rose,
for my darling Mystic Rose,
Charished deep in my heart,
for generations to last lifetimes,
on this Beautiful gift,
we all call Mother Earth.

Oh now my dear
come now and do not fear,
I shall take you by your sweet and loving hand,
as we set out in a band,
of two lonely hearts
that both need to be loved.

At first when I came
to this desolate Wasteland;
I was a lonely heart
with poetry that was my art.
You were the first to come to me,
with a smile and a hug.
You read my work,
I won your heart
and you praised me,
looked at me in anew
and treated me diffrently than any other.

My darling Mystic,
Oh how you make me feel;
so grand, so new, so happy.
As I lay my head to rest
I reminisce on your loving words,
that spoke such truth to my soul.
As you praised me through my heights,
and weaped with me through my sorrow,
as I uplifted your soul with the arrangement of words
I wrote from deep down in my weak and weary soul;
You were there always to touch my heart
and cure me of sorrowed tears.

It is impossible to express my love for you,
but see me, to feel my love,
for you my darling Mystic
it tears me apart to not
see your face, to hear your voice,
only to read your loving words
comments on a poem
that was written on a page;
It tears me apart.

Oh, my sweet and everlasting rose,
Blooming in every season,
at every hour,
a beautiful poetess at her midst of an evening twilight
as the nightingales sing outside your window,
I come and show you love and compassion.

Let us go, you and I,
I take you by your hand
and we sail off,
two poets writing of beauty
both in ink upon a blank piece of paper.
To write of love,
My compassion for you
my beautiful rose,
my darlin Mystic.

We shall part seas,
bloom in gardens of beauty,
roses and violets grow tall
around us,
reminding us of our everlasting friendship.
Lilacs and tulups stray long away,
to show my love to a stranger,
but you are no stranger to me.

You are an everlasting rose,
which blooms evertime at the stroke of nine,
and there you stay,
growing in a large and beautiful garden,
that is located deep in my heart.

Now take me, my darling Mystic
your LoveSlayer,
and charish this beautiful write
Charish it at all times,
every hour of the days!
In honour of your beauty and inspiration
I am a fool in love,
intoxicated with your beauty at heart.

WHEN TEARS TOUCH

The twelfth of November reminds me of the day
when our paths first crossed then came to grow on trail.
Soon... all the days like waves rolled into years
as we reminisce our pasts: joys and tears for fears.

A pad with pen I hold to write what pops by;
Each tint and curve a bell that says, you and I.
The words are mere push and pull medley of thoughts
shaping a circle melody of heart shots.

Learning flower our way as our cultures shared;
gem writings topically crafted are compared.
Feelings flood colours to our world, closer we became--
Creeping longing is "our meeting" as this both our aim

Beep and peek are lace ladders to higher trust grounds,
every tap and trade a thread fortifying our bond.
The lasso tying our heartstrings to etch some rhymes,
vital signs checked normal but awhile raise second hands

Can it be that this a fruit of stardust's grand wand?
Or a rose waiting to bloom and behold upon bosoms?

Now the day has arrived, suitcases packed, I smile
a journey, I have dreamt about, many many miles.
Nervousness cocoons but it's normal to feel this;
for this my long wish as I enter the coming hours.

Distance and differences our silent enemies!
But... It did not stop us from thinking sound strategies.
Interest and love gleams as our loyal company
enabling us to draw verses of harmony.

Broken bridges we cross by grace of felicity~
yearning to meet eye-to-eye an intensity!
Along the wires we jibe to friendly deal
that as crisp December sings we will make it real.

The cool December made our wanting a tip-top exhilarate..
and from somewhere, a song plays:

"When you feel in your skin in your bones and the hollow
Of your heart, there's no way you can wait till tomorrow.
When there isn't any doubt about it once you come this close
Cos you know and you know that you know...."

Wear Your Life the Best Way, You Can Be

Life most certainly seems like it’s so easy to some people
And you may be right on, to something
That is, if you are looking at life as a, one period at a time, thing
But when you get the chance to add every period together
Then his life or hers, is not so different than yours
It’s just a matter of how we wear our differences
Life is a lot like the clothes we put on
And/or whether, if how we wear it, puts a smile on our faces
And how that same smile can be re-assimilated to other races
It’s all about reaching the best illusions of the truth
And the truth is…We can wear anything we want to
You and I, certainly earned our right to choose
We’ve inherited it
That is your gift
And your gift is the same as mine
But it is the same in a different way
Like how an art is different to another art form
Where every art is beautiful
Where every beautiful thing has its story
Where every story has a home in mind
And where every home is also where the heart wants to live
But I’m not talking about the heart that pumps blood in our veins
But the heart with its entire soul, unified in spirit
Like when you close your eyes, knowing full well God is in it
Like the most feasible conclusion to a punch line
Sometimes it doesn’t make sense but you get it anyhow
Because for some reason the joke made you to laugh
And your laughter makes someone else, to laugh
And all the sudden, you are a genius
All because you recognize the point to a period
And life gets reborn; that moment on
But seriously the joke is in you
And I mean that in the most constructive way
Because if you were to break that down to the tiniest piece
Life becomes all too small to miss
Or else we’re left just to reminisce
I suppose, that is, what it is, where it comes to the truth
We can only control what we can control
And we can only become who is already inside of us
And so, I thought we must all reach a point of acceptance
"This is who I am"
"This is who we are"
Individually "This is my world"
Together, “It’s ours universe”
There’s always a time to be picky and to be reserved
But now is definitely not one of those times
Because this moment, is your time to choose
As to which life to wear and what makeup to make up on
Where the best way to celebrate being, the same, is to make a difference to others

All Day Long

All. Day. Long.

I sit there, in my chair, All. Day. Long.
Glaring at people I hate.
The people who are but mere memories.
Mere dust in the wind.

All that I know has blown away,
taken by my faulty actions.
The dull replay of Meteora fills my room with lyrical insanity,
tempting me with beat and anger.
But I’ve realised it’s not the music that’s dull.
It’s myself. I am dull.
 Dull, empty, detached, dead.
My actions have caused this, my mental instability.

My arms and wrists, they’re crisscrossed with faint pink patterns,
the product of my attempts at reattachment and relief.
Eternal smiles of violet beneath my eyes, wrinkles surround my lips.
My skin, yellow from the drugs, reflects weakly the sunlight from outside.
I blame everyone but myself, my personality rotten to the core.
My lungs, as well, shredded by smoke that acted like needles.

I couldn’t help myself, I jest in my mind.
I’ve been trying to shove the blame onto something but myself,
only to find there is nothing to blame but myself.

My body has been wracked to this state,
a state well beyond my mere 29 years.
My mind, hanging from a cliff.
Threatening to free fall at any moment.

As I sit there, in my chair,
memories of an age long gone from my life flash before my eyes.
 A girl I loved, laughing.
Her and I lying in the grass, at a lake’s edge.
A cat akin to night, eyes green as mine, purring softly in my lap.
Flashes of guns, from a war forgotten by all but me.

As I reminisce these memories, a spark of feeling—pain.
Upwelling in my gut.
 Through my chest.
Stabbing into the side of my head.
The pain triggers a new wave of recollection.

Again, the girl. My mind so foggy I can’t remember her name.
Dancing slowly to a song no longer heard of.
Snow. A blush of the cheeks. Hands in mine, warming and comfortable.
The pain in my head intensifies, blinding me.
I fall from my chair, the first time I’ve moved all day. In 2 days.

Shaking my head, I pull myself up. Standing, I look around.
Another flash of pain, followed by a sensation I’d all but forgotten.
Her lips. At dusk. The very first time.
I stumble away from an unseen being, crashing into the wall.
Blinking my eyes furiously, I right myself.
Waiting a moment, I sit back down.
And let the dullness take over, the pain ebb away,
and the memories to replay.
All. Day. Long.

ready or not

Look look it’s crazy I’m the one they want to represent
Young black girl,I can probably be the president
I’m the voice of the youth, you heard my tone I think it’s evident
I know who I am, they mistake my confidence for arrogance
I think is different cause I don’t take my clothes off
I just played my role y’all
I can’t sell my soul y’all
I just shoot to triple my arm up I guess I show off
They sleep and I let them doze off
Wake em up oh yea it’s roll call
My chocolate is beautiful
I’m rocking it per usual
I’m loving every piece men
From my top to my cuticles
Tryna play with my head real love won’t be confusing you
I learned make sure the one you putting first is also choosing you men
Life is so crazy, many lessons and blessings
I'm steady stressing perfection
I keep neglecting my ethics
So much texts and the message
I’m tryna lessen my stressing
Finally understand my power
My presence is essence
They killed my daddy while my mama was pregnant
How I’m I supposed to feel ?!
And they took my grandma child from her
How is she supposed to heal ?!
And we here starving ain’t got nothing
How are we supposed to give ?!
Seem like the system they set us up and we’re supposed to fail
I’m so real the mayor gave me a day in my city
But it’s so sad that I can’t even go and stay in my city
And the shooting and killings, little kids can’t even play in my city
It’s so wicked, they killed my daddy and brought a day in my city
But I still love him
I’ll give him every dime that I got
Is running out but I’ll give you all the time that I’ve got
You was the fakest on my team and I’m just finding it out
That make me sick into my stomach want to vomit it out
And I’m like ready or not men it’s my time out
I done gave it everything I got it’s time to shine out
They done blew the whistle men my foot across the line now
Clock is ticking down ain’t got no thirty seconds time out for real though
I know I done made it cause I don’t
I would never waste my voice if I don’t speak for a cause
I reminisce man I just thinking
My mama told me you keep shooting for the moon you gon have a seat with them stars
on god And I’m like ready or not
Here I come,you can’t hide
I’m rooting for you
It take it slowly

Ready or not
Here I come,you can’t hide
I’m rooting for you
It take it slowly

Insight

I don’t know what is expected of me,

I do know that I have knowledge to allow myself to see,

To see better days and gorgeous nights,

To see that everyday is a struggle that along comes with new plight.

But within those struggles do bring about better times,

And it is those very thoughts that I keep within my mind,

The world is an obstacle; it’s just the matter how you’re going to hop through it,

And while you’re making it through this world always push on and never say quit!

Never give up and quit on your goals,

And never step out of line just remember your role,

Remember why we were place upon this Earth,

That meaning should have came to you right there at birth.

I was confused at first because I didn’t know why I was placed here,

I walked around acting like no one bother to even care,

No one cared if I was to live or die,

And because of my selfish ways I caused a lot of people to cry.

But if I could take back all that pain I’ll do it in a flash,

Because I want to reminisce on better days within my past,

But the future is starting to look good, that is something I’ll have to say,

So I see there are miracles when we bow our heads to pray!

I’m not a minister nor would I claim to be,

But I can’t be brainwash no more because my eyes are wide open to see,

Beauty is all around us it’s not that hard to reach,

Before I was going after rotten fruits but now I’ve founded a perfect peach.

Someone who is so beautiful with an exquisite face,

And saying your name never leaves a bad feeling or a sour taste,

Nicole, I nearly gave up on angels until you came into my world,

I just want to be near you and hear you say that you’re my girl.

Trust and honesty does go hand-in-hand,

And trust me babes I’ll never want to do you wrong, just to be your man!

Whenever you’re having a bad day I want to know,

Communication babe, that’s the only way we can really grow!

I’m not the type that is about running games,

And I truly hope this aspect is something that you find the same,

Nicole, it is because of you that I now have peaceful nights,

And having nothing but love for you is something I can see insight.

A kind heart is approaching so be sure to accept the blessings of the heart

I Longed For the Days

I longed for the days when the earth will smile again and the penitence of its mind will humble itself before the benevolent sky and the assemble of peace will be trod bountifully through the street.

I long for the days when the hill and the valley will meet and walk hand in hand in the street and greet the people we meet and pass on a word of encouragement to those that fall from the heavens. And time will tell how he constructed that hypnotic well to release his mind from the pit of hell.

I longed for the days when the sun will smile with the rain and cool the desert flame, the cactus will grow in abundance and moisture will cover the desert land and the plants will flourish all over the land and the sun will obey its command.

I long for the days when I can dine outdoors, and watched the waves riding on the shore, I will write a verse or two, and listen to the music singing in the wind. I will breathe in the fresh air from the atmosphere and write a romantic poem for thee and absorb the moisture in my flesh from the sea.

It is the touch of love that will ride with the vision from above and somewhere out there in the atmosphere; you will feel the difference of time racing with the spirit of the divine.

I long for the days when I can walk in my old school again, and bring the place alive just like old time. I will walk along the corridors and mesmerize my golden sorrows and the path I took that gave me a hundred books.

I will dance underneath the trees, just like how it used to be, I will bring my friends alive and reminisce their sacrifice. I will recapture the memory of spending long hours in the study room and could not take a shower until the following day at noon. I will go to the gym and workout on the tread mill and hum my childhood hymn.

I long for the day when I can travel the world again and meet people from every, race, color, creed, nation and culture. We will have happy times together, have buffet meals for supper and sing Kaluki at noon. We will learn about each other’s culture and play games together, and when the evening is done, we will stand on the board, walk and gaze out yonder and our heart will be together.

I long for the day when I will meet all my television friends, we will have lemonade on ice and we will tell stories in the moonlight.

Let Nature Roll

Nature is free and she is walking around with me, nature is free and the birds are whispering in the trees. They are mating on top of the hill and they just cannot keep still. Look at them flying in that willow tree, looking for somewhere to make their nest, they are flying around like wild beast, pooping and filtering energy in the street. They say it is a symbol for protection and an omen for good luck but when the droppings fall on you, you have to have a strong stomach.

Watch the trees as they stand still and reminisce with the wind; they are standing at attention as they pass through that painful recollection .Dead bodies floating in the stream, tires burning in the deep, and bullets rigged buildings swaying in the breeze. Something has transpired there many years ago and the trees are witness to those memories. I sat quietly at the side of the stream recapturing my imaginary dreams and watching it playing out in reality. It is that powerful connection that you have with the soul; it is something that is larger than life and it is connected to the divine. You cannot see it, you cannot phantom it but you know that it is there. It is bigger than my soul and when my spirit is sad, I become one with nature and dine in that imaginary rapture. The trees cannot understand it, the mountains cannot contain it but the deserts embrace it. Nature breath at the sound of the wind, nature shouts and the volcano erupt, the earth trembles when I bend my knees and the floodgates open when I raised my hands.

Come and sit with me for a while and put your hands upon my heart and tell me what you feel. It is the sound of nature rushing through my vein and the spirit of life that I must maintain, and the warmth of the earth moving beneath my feet. I can see you looking out your window peering at something from a distance but it was hard to connect with that mysterious rhythm that was moving in a different direction but nature quickly turned it around and forward it to where destiny is bound and I could instantly feel that connection and a slight wind came in from space. Nature smiles and rolls its eyes as it recalls that painful sacrifice, meeting with people all over the globe, whose hearts are touched by the untold and so the freedom of nature rolled through the gate and upon it the tree embrace.
