A daytime in Madrid
Gray sky overhead
The mist forms rows
Eyeing, hesitating
As spectators in a field
Hovering for kickoff

Masses of zealots
Shining bands of fans
In the style of a royal army
The sound of shoes trampling
Moving to a specific ground
Hovering for kickoff

The reals of Madrid are tough
They defy tooth and claw
The adrenaline level is rising
Blood of steel ran in their veins
Artistic knives are at the ready
They hurt the stadium

The reds of England look anxious.
To do this, a hero must be called.
A savior in times of peril.
A leader to rally the troops.
A Liverpool that flips the tides.

Halftime is near
Relief for the Spanish is near
But there is a last terror spell
One final shot towards glory
A clip-on their lips
A blow on the Reals' souls

The fate of our heroes is unsure.
What lies next for the Reds?
But one thing is certain.
They seek victory.
Will they master the chaos of war?

A perfect triangle pretending to be right

A perfect triangle
As he stood in the shadow
Of the dead eye windows of his home
His face alway up
Stars or cries of cloud
his theatre
The sounds that based from his neon lit blue ears
He tugged at some oversized hood
Like a monk struggling to damper the candles for nighttimes prayers
Answered with a monotone of shadows nod
The passing friend fed a gentle wave

You ever want to say to someone
Can you please stop this conversation before one of us dies -nothing to do with poem but I share

Unsure where shadow says
Sometimes his profile
glimpsed in the orange
of his cigarette

Spelling candy in
Only two leters
t get back up there

Sometimes caught him tapping his feet
against the wall
Lost in the sound of his garbled favourite sounds

I try not be surreal so the reals think I am real

Rain splatter dropping seemingly in time
To his hooded droo
………………….,.,…ping nod
matching its scratching tempo
His breath hesitant on the ice that paraded as the wind

imagining we are only ones that imagine
Above us only sky
I always just looked out

No moonlight only more sun
Does that mean every song lied
More sunlight serenade doesn’t quite hit the
Mark unalived in car accident
Left quite a
To Mark everyone
Last funeral I was ever asked to talk at

A Dream: the 4th Christmas.

deck the halls
with memories
poets whisper pasts
that are ne’er forgotten

where presents
a life
that’s neatly wrapped
and attempts at

frostily forgotten

tucked under
that big
beautiful
green fir tree

where all the dreams
of poets go
gold starred, tinselled
and angel mounted

ripe cherries
kissed
crassly
under mistletoe

Ah Christmas
capture me up
in your safe
magic arms

let me sip
the nectar from
your sweet eggnog cups
like Puck’s flower flows

on sultry lips
and eyelids
“love-in-idleness”
"The juice of it

on sleeping eyelids laid
will make man
or woman
madly dote

upon the next
live creature
that it sees”
poet or pup

crimson berries crushed
against a velvet tongue
bedazzled and
bewitched

fires crackling
logs like legs
drop and wrap around
the flames

while in my dreams
I await beneath
the sugar coated
blankets of a bed

charmed by snowflakes
dusting houses in a row
through misted windows
where “paper people....

dream
their cardboard dreams”

“how unreal
the whole thing seems
can we be living in a world
that is made of paper mache?

Everything is clean
and so neat
anything that is wrong
can be just swept away”

inside is very still...
not shaken
like a snowglobe -
surreal

damned be
the dams of
Love-in-Idleness
where eyes reflect

your shadow
in my dream
like opium smoke
across cracked glass

remember how we
all once were
some beautiful happy
if we could just pull the chord

so fresh out of ...
class

rewind our time
rewind it
to yesterday
like a toy

across the
ocean bobbing
like a buoy
an Iceberg keens and cries

Nutcracker twirls
Sugarplum
Kris Kringle Kisses
Kalliope

Oberon...

reals
Titania in
Slo mo’

Magic

mmm
Romance

lacy
frosty
melting
snow.

An iceberg cries
in time with
Christmas eyes

That While Perhaps

The world fell apart for a little while
Just that while perhaps is all it takes
In a world where there isn't a know how
It becomes a world of lies, deceits and fakes

The many roles given to play
The many times when to deceive is an accomplishment
Foxy and sly, simply another way
To simply be heard, perhaps an ultimate procurement

Truth hurts... seem so true
Lying to ourselves how life is good
Living carefully for death's due
Funny how life never should

We all communicate through technologies
Interpreting what messages don't always represent
Angered in our very own bounded theories
When through even ourselves we don't consent

I tried seeing the world for a while
Truth and lies, solution and deception, reals and fakes
In a world where there isn't a know how
That change in that while is perhaps all it takes

Worthy of Thought

some sought remedy
it was less likely that these approaches
would yield fact: after all in
the broader realm of it's being
it paled in comparison to what
it wished and wanted to be.
But as one who likes action, and understands what
in the light of doing is: thinks that
this might ripened to be a delicious slice
of pie.
3:14 the Centre of thought, the conscious mind
from an unconscious state. each person is representative of
an appropriate following, a member of an individual entity.
Studies indicate what worthy, and in it's value to be seen
by those who wish to witness the spectacle of it's being.
Might they function as individual parts: to make they
 "thang" come into being!
stumble upon the creek
and let the pan find the gold,
make me the happy man I know I should be!
that each mind, thinks in accordance's to it's purpose
and every body acts, on the stage it rehearst for
that the sounds shall be acceptable to the masses
and the product made
is seen and wanted by those who wish to have it!
take the mass from the mountain
and hue the stone from the model
make the sight one that those
in yesteryear might remember, and them of tomorrow
might wish to see, and be part of.
yet the songs announce the man, that his actions
come from the reactions of him he challenges
speak me right: that my labors are seen by those
who I represent!

'til There Was You In Real Life Pt 1

My witchy teardrops, dandelion oil, mystical, magickal dust
Faerie Tales, cockatiels, sandwiched between rusted trust
Of movie reels, bootlegged steals, cyber-world, & for reals
Myself as a wild-child & lonely found you across the sea
At the time you didn't know that soon you'd be her final reason to breathe
And you'd be her reason to believe
You'd crack the door to your heart, & then slam it when I was near
You liked to lock up the most attractive parts of you because of your simplistic, insecure fears
I wasn't allowed to be welcomed into your heart for years & years
I'd get too close & once more, you'd slam the door yet again
If you felt out of control of your environment - then nobody can possibly win
You're mad at me for the lack of interaction - but attempting to interact with a workaholic will never yield compromise-able satisfaction
In my experience with you, it always held an unpredictable, bottled-up reaction
Instead of cuddling, smoking, & just relaxin'
This non-communicative, Scorpio, an eloquent, self-confessed introvert would always stay deeply immersed in your work
Never really gave an attentive chance
Even through our initial, fiery romance
You seldom got to experience my mind & body both - like rhythmic, melodious smoke
The worst time for us to be together back then
But something told you that we were worth sacrificing the work we put in for many years being metaverse friends
That was a roll of the die I didn't want to try
We'd have to sacrifice all the time spent, or end up simply saying our goodbyes

Harry's Fence

Back in the days when fences were constructed to lean on
I had my fathers smile my mother's apron now they're gone
Along with brother's camera and his filming laughter reels
Along with sister's bumbling ways and admiration reals ...

Fences are made to keep in or keep out. Sometimes
Erecting them can be a way of protecting or rejecting
No one knows the power of a fence more then those who
Crossed the holocaust fences and survived. Fences can be
Easing posts for friendship or wired spokes with big fat
Signs that say " Keep Out" it all depends what side your on

Back in the days when my dad build a fence for grapes and vines
I knew what belonged to other people and what was truly mine
Along with my cat, my bird, my three ring binder and my fence
Along with my heart and my soul, I knew what to let in, hence ?

Diverse and deceived my mind reals
My mouth speaks of Truth and hold not in part
Who am I and how am I to feel
In motion going forward
Not knowing where I'm going
At the speed of light my body's shivering
Burst of electricity in my mind deliberating
Body breathing believe it vibrating moving from place and state
In space moving forth in haste I'm moving in

50 Words For Poe: Styx

"50 Words for Poe: Styx"

Sleep now

Your Nepenthe has been taken
listen to your dream
what you pay alms for
requires surveillance
this is where she is reached and seen
in her dreams she dreams within your dream

He whistles in with the wind
Like King of the Hill
Incubus sucks her soul in
she sits in his boat
long bare legs wearing
Red killer stilettos,
"Persimmon" on her wiggling toenails
She's all covered in Sin
she smells good, ripe for kissing
sailing on Styx
towards some kind of destiny
Him and his hot dream
on their first tryst
this vetoes all need for safe religion
when he looks at himself,
God is in the mirror
staring back at Him
He smiles a Jack Nicholson grin

In vivid hues of Blue
he dreams to win
She whispers,
“Baby come here, come in”
This is all he needs
He's already on his knees
She becomes
His strange new religion

The Black Raven softly sings
Purple is the colour not Red, that 'reals' him in

But I know this much is true,

Playmate

A little girl with fairy tale dreams; playmates only she can see
spending her time playing like she was big...eating honeysuckles and serving tea
her playmates loved to listen to her talk, she did it very well
she told them all her secrets....she knew they would never tell
a young lady now, her playmates were real
unsure of how she was supposed to feel
nothing ever went her way, she found a way to deal
heartaches and heartbreaks lead her into her grown up life
she attempts to 'for reals” be a mommy and wife
being a mommy is what she was supposed to be
but the little girl in her wanted to be free
she ran and hid, just like before
but her playmates didn't listen to her talk anymore
she talked to herself, but that was no fun
she didn't feel loved by anyone
the little girl didn't want to play for a long long time
her playmate she could not find
she stayed big all the time for a long while
she was mad a lot and she could not even smile
I think somebody said a prayer for that girl for sure
because God sent her a playmate who was big like her
her and her playmate play..... even though they are big
and that big girl smiles like the little girl did
