Premium Member Petals of Pain

Quote By Poet "The pretty rose has thorns to keep her safe."

My life starts as a lovely rose bud,
I come in many beautiful colors.
Red roses tell a story of love and romance,
while white roses show herself as innocent and pure.
My buds will open up to show my face,
a face of beauty and pain for some.
Memories from the past roses,
they hurt as if from today.
While my thorns are to protect me,
will they protect you?
Remember when you took my petals off one by one,
making a wish on each petal?
Some came true,
some hurt you through and through.
My soft petals with perfume,
were not meant to hurt but they do.

The Girl Inside

She has no like for that which is soft
Nor the like of romance's petal
But I am no living breathing rock
Nor am I a block of metal
I see the girl that hides inside
That hard encrusted shell
Her eyes are open wide
Staring into the depths of hell
I'm her knight in shining armour
The one she doesn't want
How can I let this life harm her
The one she doesn't want
My armour begins to weaken
Begins to buckle and bend
The bloody cuts they deepen
These wounds will never mend
To see her defences melt
At the touch of my hand
Destroying the damages dealt
This pain she cannot stand
A gentle tender caress
Held within an iron fist
Her soul a fragile mess
Held within an iron fist
I see the girl who waits inside
Defeated, crumpled and broken
From my eyes she cannot hide
By my touch her spirit is woken
I hold her gently as the night
With vigil I stand my ground
Her demons cower in fright
Her tears they make no sound
I see the girl within my arm
A shadow from a distant dream
Her eyes forgot the calm
A shadow from a distant dream
I see the girl I cannot protect
Fading from my iron grasp
Her touch I can barely detect
Fading from my iron grasp
I see
The girl inside

October 9 is the 283rd day this year
In history many died and she'd tears
1594 Portuguese empire defeated in Sri Lanka
Bringing an end to the campaign of danture

1604 kepplers supernova found in the milky way
Who says you need modern science today
The swedes defeated in 1708
Battle of lesnaya won by Peter the Great

At least 1000 ethnic Chinese natives killed in Batvia
1740 Dutch colonist started this massacre
1806 prussia starts war with France
Throughout the years you can see wars at a glance

In 1834 the first public railway opened in Ireland
1847 slavery abolished in Swedish colony
No more children orphaned
The people having more life quality

1900 the cook islands became a uk territory
1911 the Wuchang uprising against the Quing Dynasty
1914 The siege of of antwerp comes to an end
1918 Prince frederick Charles offered throne of Finland

The next few years see many massacres and assanations
It's as though the world was under fascination
In reality it brought loss, death and hatred
No-one realising that being alive is sacred

1980 Pope John Paul the second meets the dalai lama
Hopefully the world will become calmer
1981 capital punishment abolished in France
Finally someone taking a positive stance

But alas wars are still declared and lives lost
Decisions made by people who try to boss
The world being destroyed by the human race
Remember we are visitors and can open the case

We need to protect this planet where we reside
Think about futer generations don't hide
Stand up and be counted
Keep this planets peace firmly mounted

My Umbrella of Love Keeps You Safe From Storms Above

When your down and full of pain
I'll protect you from the rain
And make sure to really cover
Your despair with my umbrella
Of love and caring that will
Not let one drop of hurt spill
Into your life--this I swear
I'll follow you everywhere
Being your sunshine of hope
And shade when you can not cope
Stormy weather will be kept
Far away as it is swept
Back into the sky above
My big umbrella of love
Covers you up with a veil
That will not give in or fail
It's support will never droop
Protecting you with a hoop
That will circle all around
On a solid secure ground
Never breaking this tight seal
That you will always feel
This love umbrella will not break
It is true and never fake

Guardian Angels

(12/12/11)

Where are my angels that watch over me?
Where are my angels, where can they be?
We all have guardian angels- this much I know
So where did my angels go ?

They watch over me to protect me from harm
And around my neck - is their charm.
My father told me to never fear
For I am always in their care.

Who is my father you ask of me?
He is no other than J.C.
Jesus Christ is his name
We’re his children and we’re all the same.

Sometimes our angels presence we will feel
When we are sick and need to heal.
He smiles down upon us and touches our hand
And lets us know he understands.

Angels protect us throughout our lives
This is their ultimate sacrifice
And when it’s time that we must part
They ease the pains within our hearts
Knowing that when we are at deaths door
We start regretting things that we held in store.

A kind word to a friend who was there till the end.
Taking time out to watch your children grow
And creating a memory that they will know.
Telling your soul mate that you loved every moment
That you shared, and showing how much you really cared.
This is your angel that god had chose
And will lead you through deaths door
So do not fear when this time comes
For you will now see- a different Son.

Premium Member The Gift of a Child

Two blessed creating one,
Conceived and nourished in love.
A healthy daughter or son,
A miracle from God above.

The most precious gift of all,
Is the gift of a child,
To a longing, loving couple,
Awaiting that sweet little smile.

To know such amazing joy,
When you feel your baby kick and move.
A hidden treasure; a little girl or boy,
Growing strong in their Mother's womb.

To understand such amazing grace,
When your baby finally arrives.
To gaze for the first time upon your child's face
With absolute joy and pride.

A chance to live your life again,
Through the innocent eyes of a child.
To be carefree without a sin,
Ready to forgive and easily beguiled.

To see and talk with the angels once more.
To play and to make believe.
To find fun and happiness behind every door.
To wait up for Santa on Christmas Eve.

To be looked upon with trusting eyes,
And to know there is nothing greater,
Than to protect, provide, teach and guide,
As a loving Mother and Father.

As time goes by and your baby grows,
With fond memories sweet and mild.
You will come to know what Heaven knows,
There is nothing more precious than the gift of a child.

Premium Member Memories

When all the moments have been lived,
and all the days described
When hope is an illusion, you chase in your dreams,
and time a circle of black and white
When faded pictures guard your mind from forgetting,
will a seat be offered from a comforting hand?
To warm your face, so it may smile
And as you gather fallen leaves from your dreams,
to build a fire to protect from winter's cold,
will you sit by frosted windows, starring into luminous stars?
Reliving a solemn rendering of your life

When all my days are shorn in Autumn
And all the years have shrived
When lasting memories are fused, what deems
Is an hourglass of time's remind
Like faded photographs, safe vouch the mind
Will I sit and proffer from a smile
And such as you will I gather token dreams
And build a fire, to keep from winter's bold
Will I sit by mosic windows and turn them into stars
Reliving a solemn promise, to make this slope, my wife

Rest

1091 days. I remember having covid lying lifeless on my couch. There was no recent thought of you, as your presence within my life, I had already been without. I was in so much physical pain. I had no idea that spiritual pain could cancel that out, breaking, and weakening every connection from me to this physical world I felt miles from, still sometimes even now. One call for my fall. I felt this shock to my insides. I died. I felt my spirit leave my body trying to take my soul, to protect it from the anguish her death was sure to impose. They called this grief. A phenomenon. A complex human experience. No scientific way to get through loss quickly or to eliminate the painful feeling that comes still, when I mention your name. 5 days short of your death, 12 of your life. Still, the remainder of Eternity here without you that loss, could never be measured with time. Complex. Much like our relationship before you left. I always imagined we would eventually reconnect. I catch you up and fill you in and you’ll tell me all the new activities you enrolled yourself in, I miss it. You were so talented. Guess that chat can still happen, just will look a little different than I initially imagined. I miss you, Trina. I never thought life could be lived without you. Nearly three years and I miss you like I did when you were here. When I thought I had time to make amends. Time is not my friend. Myocardial contusion. Bruised. No, not by a physical force. But the loss of your energy, makes my heart feel sore. This doesn’t mean I am weak. It means I loved and love you with all of me. Every piece of me. Regardless of the distance between you and me. Our souls are forever bonded for our reconnection in everlasting eternity. I love you Katrina hope you are resting peacefully.

Premium Member When The Stork Returns

Dusky, azure sky looks down
The ochre earth awaits you
Near and dear have a deep frown
On the deathbed, you know too

Time is coming pay no heed
To the wonders of this world
You need many a good deed
Before Heaven is unfurled

Dig in your sinful pocket
Sieve through the evil amassed
May you find the right ticket
'Fore, in the grave, you are cast

Old fond memories return
unwanted memories too
Spiteful foes in your sojourn
Enjoy your demise and boo

Nothing shall count 'cept your deeds
Neither wealth shall help nor fame
righteous actions are your seeds
To grow, protect from Hell's flame.
