Premium Member Lord God, You Are My Inviter For Me To Come and Dine With You

October 13 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on John 21-Acts 1

Key Verse – John 21:12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY INVITER FOR ME TO COME AND DINE WITH YOU

Lord God, You are my Inviter for me to come and dine with You,
despite my sin-caused impairment
Thank You for drawing my heart to Your love’s great fulfillment
So that I can respond to Your divine treatment
Midst Your feeding that suffices my contentment.

Lord God, You are my Inviter for me to come and dine with You,
despite my doubt-stained ignorance
Thank You for proving to my life Your calling’s assurance
So that I can follow You immediately with perseverance
Midst Your discipleship-endurance and deliverance.

Lord God, You are my Inviter for me to come and dine with You,
despite my grief-burdened misery
Thank You for girding my faith with Your enabling victory
So that I tarry in Your supplication-inspired Calvary
Midst Your testimony’s glory, smiting my worry.

Lord God, You are my Inviter for me to come and dine with You,
despite my disobedience to Your teaching
Thank You for allowing my mind to learn from Your preaching
So that I can declare about Your infallible proofs in my Scriptural searching
Midst Your promise, affirmed by the Holy Spirit for out-reaching.

Lord God, You are my Inviter for me to come and dine with You,
despite my shallow devotion
Thank You for pardoning my iniquities along my repentant confession
So that I can enjoy Your granted eternal salvation
Midst Your peace that encloses me inside Your protection.

Lord God, You are my Inviter for me to come and dine with You,
despite my powerlessness
Thank You for upholding my service by Your purposefulness
So that I can continue with prayer’s earnestness and steadfastness
Midst Your guidance wrapped around Your faithfulness.

Lord God, You are my Inviter for me to come and dine with You,
despite my worthless beginning
Thank You for instilling in my character virtues toward behaviour-refining
So that I can depend on You always for my firm leaning
Midst Your ministry that holds me from declining.

Racism,
and sexism
and violent capitalism
are as American
and as bad for you
and your kids
as pre-millennial rotten and burned-out apple pie-sellers

And ProMatriotic learning
and living
and health loving
post-millennial WinWin co-operators
against LoseLose
racism
and sexism
and violent capitalism
as AntiAmerican
as burning-out
and hanging-out
and banging-out
and harming the health in any way,
of matriotic cooperative apple-pie makers.

So said,
rather more than less,
one of the ancient river campers
speaking curbside
before the double-glass front doors
of his Cumberland Farms Cathedral.

In a sad and quiet voice.
Not a position he gloated about
as if he stood morally apart.
Rather,
he speaks of dis-integrity
of our shared powerless positions
as autonomous systems,
struggling through each impoverishing day
of lost good faith youth
for, now, mere survival
when we could become sooo very much lighter
to rediscover
remaining integrity of our identity systems
for cooperative organic thrival.

Outside,
my neighborhood prophet
for world peace
was long and lean
with sun-dried and bronzed wrinkled skin
over muscled sinew,
a long-grey bearded
and skeletal nature mystic,
with clear and open stereophonic memorizing eyes.

Inside,
remembering his times with swimming wet green frogs
and sleek flying flashing ravens,
eagles of EarthPatriotic balance,
both honorable predators
and prey to aging apple pies
regretted and suffered
by long grey-bearded prophetic times
surviving threats and violence of nationalistic racism
and monotheistic sexism
and MightMakesRight capitalism,
WinLose subnormal optimization
of WinWin BothAnd opportunities,
Left integrated in and outside Right-felt memories
of maternal love
far too unmatriotically far behind
for EarthTribe's cooperative thrival
of these our fit-in
cooperative powerlessness.

So, I asked our neighborhood prophet
if he had mentioned these problems to the Mayor.

"I guess your news for today,
I am the Mayor."

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO GRANTS OUR PETITIONS AND REQUESTS

May 31 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Esther 7-10

Key Verse – Esther 7:2 And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.

FAITH IN GOD WHO GRANTS
OUR PETITIONS AND REQUESTS

God grants our petitions and requests against curses
Ever ready to strengthen us with His mighty braces
Along His forgiveness for our confessed sin that oppresses
For us to walk by faith which He divinely increases.

God grants our petitions and requests against persecution
Ever steadfast to encourage us with His Scriptural exhortation
Along His Word for our persistent stewardship-function
For us to continue by faith, praising Him with our exaltation.

God grants our petitions and requests against powerlessness
Ever helpful to uphold us with His zealousness
Along His grace for our weakness and feebleness
For us to fulfill by faith our vows with joyfulness.

God grants our petitions and requests against incapacity
Ever caring to govern us with His stability
Along His leadership for our safety and security
For us to trust by faith His promises’ certainty.

God grants our petitions and requests against doubts
Ever generous to supply us with His provision-spouts
Along His answer for our needs to direct us from worry-routes
For us to abide by faith in His will of heavenly whereabouts.

God grants our petitions and requests against dishonor
Ever great to make us worship with His spirituality’s tenor
Along His authority for our service as we obey Him-our life’s Donor
For us to prioritize by faith His kingdom and glory’s honor.

God grants our petitions and requests against discomfort
Ever merciful to cheer us with His compassion-report
Along His love for our souls since He is our only resort
For us to triumph by faith, conquering unbelief’s retort.

Premium Member Man Will Know War No More

We are an ignorant, foolish species. Unaware of our potential and unwilling to love each other unconditionally. We are infants in the grand scheme of creation. We are children among men and women from other planets and galaxies and dimensions. But for all of our faults and ignorance. We have a beauty that cannot be denied. A mother nursing her child. A father working 3 jobs to support his family. Activists foregoing the easy life to fight for the oppressed. Rich men and women with generous hearts, funding cures for Cancer. We are an ignorant and foolish species. But no angel, no alien, no higher power can deny our beauty. We are beautiful. And that is why Jesus suffered more pain and anguish than any being in the creation to redeem us. Because he designed us in the imagination of the mother. He knew our potential. He knew that beneath our foolish and childish vanity, we were an explosion of life about to happen. He knew of the divinity that he placed in us. He knew of the Holy Spirit that would increase that divinity. He knew of our hidden genius to one day teach angels. And he said, "Father, they are foolish yes, but I will sacrifice my omniscience to become infantile like them. I will suffer the humiliation of their powerlessness and I will battle the enemy that deceives them with my bare human hands and I will win. We are an ignorant, foolish species, but our beauty is unprecedented and we are worth a bright future. Jesus certainly thought so. And so even as people exploit people and the strong oppress the weak. And so even as women scar their children and men abandon their responsibilities. And so even as greedy images deceive us all out of optimism and into accusation and judgment. We have a savior who will not quit on us. He will wait and he will bless and he will guide until we see that love is the only thing worth fighting for. And we will rise along with the planet that we inhabit. And man will no war no more.

Premium Member In These Times

In these times

In these times, some people favor the belief that everything is fine.
But we must not sugarcoat the truth or trade chips for lies to feel better.
In these times we have seen our American Flag stomped upon.
We have seen our Constitution be thwarted with attempts to change it.
We have seen our laws be disregarded as if they don’t exist.
We have seen our cities burn with violence not stopped, but watched.
We have seen our law enforcement disempowered and officers killed.
We have seen criminals released who should be finishing due sentences.

In these times, Americans are killed and division is fueled each and every day.
The voices of law abiding citizens has become more silent as fear grows.
A sense of powerlessness taking over the nation as corruption roars ahead.
This fear of being labeled or attacked is turning into a place of tyranny.
Today, people feel it is not the land of the ‘free’ and ‘brave’ anymore.
But, it can be!

In these times it is a choice to unite with a common goal of liberty.
To be brave together and not afraid of what may happen tomorrow.
If we are exercising our rights lawfully, we are behaving as true Americans.
We must not let our opposing views fester with a mindset of revenge.
It is not bloodshed in our streets that we want to see evolve from division.
We must not give up without knowing what our presence of millions can do.
Showing our faces, holding our flags, speaking our minds in celebration.
Celebration you ask?

Yes. Celebration for breaking the silence that has gripped this Nation.
Celebration for our freedom fought for by every brave soldier.
Celebration for our ‘survival’ of transformation that is forced upon us.
Just when some thought we were beaten, pushed to a point of no return.
We choose to stand with dignity, fight through every doubt and not fall.
Celebration beyond these perilous times… for unity, peace and justice for all.

New Normal

An x-ray view of what was before while looking for the after now
Like a resurrection and afterlife on some biblical prophecy
Be aware on the conscious for its under attack by malware
soon to fully develop into a spyware
Your mental is like your software
Operating system needs an upgrade
This virus just gave it a reboot
With simple task manager for putting on a mask
Betterment of the self is a daily update
Because the past is what you have lived and it all crashed
But we need to understand that our attention on affection is being hacked
Being scanned everyday as we usher into the era of the cyborg
Some lifestyles we need to abort
Social interaction is digitalized
friends are stranger on social media
Here was the birth of social distancing
industrialization sign in globalization to confinement
Can’t we see the danger!?, people have become invisible
Let put aside propaganda its not in this piece’s agenda
In an atmosphere filled with uncertainty
dwells fear of change with a wave of intolerance
A dominant experience at the moment is sense of grief
notion of sadness, despair, helplessness, powerlessness and anger
Fragment of blame, echo chambers of many
Negative escalation of human degradation
Issue is on face mask as the color of the skin
Being policed by leaders with empty promises
It feels like the pandemic took a 360 degrees turn
to make it a worldwide web
In some ways it has come full circle
back to localization, national budget and personal introspect
Everyone is loading their data
refresh the mind on the page
what does history show
Before the hand shakes, people kissed to greet
Here we tap our feet
Gathering set the tone of joy
Togetherness was a remedy now in a memory
We just have to stick as family
unfamiliar at a point of acceptance becomes familiar

The Pusillanimous Parent

behind of a supposed strong & mature “adult”
who advertises to others their ability to
“discipline” their child,
lies a great fear stirring,
which comes out in the actions taken to make
that little child submit to their will
from early on---
when rebelled against,
the pusillanimous parent lashes out like a
dictator trying to hold onto a dwindling empire
forcing the young one to do as they are told,
often doing their best not to laugh at what they believe to be
the utter powerlessness of this being
that they have dragged into this world
without having gained permission to do so---
hiding behind religious babblings
that cheer on those that beat the little one physically or
psychologically
all in the name of feeling powerful,
so that when the “adult” comes home from a day of
being ignored & disrespected in the work place or
cast out in any number of the relationships with other human beings
that they themselves have created as products of their own
choices (so unlike the child they “discipline”),
they can feel as if they still have an iota of control left in their lives---
that they can still mold something into what they want it to be
without it launching a full attack upon
them,
from which they may never fully recover---
and though this may be the way that the “adult” was treated
when they themselves were developing,
such repetition only increases & prolongs
the severe cycle of abuse,
whose domino effect of violence & mental obliteration
echoes throughout the rest of society
smashing from hand to hand
with so many acting as if this is a healthy way to treat others
with so many acting as if
this had to be done,
while in reality this “adult” is the biggest coward of them all,
having gotten into more than they bargained for,
having not thought too long before
producing another human being.

HIND SIGHT 20 20!

Love disappeared and left me longing
a broken home topped off with losing it
To be wrong for trying to conclude the madness
to be able to concede but unable to retreat
Made me Frankenstein a monster
whose reflection made me want to vomit
A child produced from the broken home
just for one side to perceive as if he was never conceived
How can I grow if I cant water my own seed
Irresponsibility and border line addictions
immaturity and wandering without knowing missions
Became a man that instead of receiving love
I was begging for forgiveness
Watching leave what was held as a sacred bond
made the inside of me scream
and my head let off alarms
No charming here just trauma and pain from over there
I would've shared but it was taken as a joke
Face got used to red and ears got used to smoke

It got better for a moment
even though it was hate used to replace the love stolen
A solid figure but after the heat it became molten
I thought it was a home being created
not your jail you needed to escape from
I never thought it could be this bad from dating
but its enough to make you turn numb
Acceptance and powerlessness weighed heavily
going through a lonely hell when will things turn heavenly
If i accept it It wont better me
but if I fight it i still lose control gradually
My only fear was producing a void permanently
nothing to fill the hole that made me look problematic mentally
its bickering and snickering behind the end of love
but also at the beginning of hate
I was giving up on love it was beginning to look fake
It was a stalemate when it was supposed to be checkers
It was checks being yelled instead of us checking
Still unavoidable to wish for or to long for something missing
Still so unavoidable

LA is on fire and I’m a sitting duck

My skin crawls as I watch a hand,
disembodied,
reach yet again into the Tollhouse bag.
Bright, artificial yellow. It burns my eyes.
Countless chocolate chips are shoveled down my gullet
as if crumbs to a wretched, starving creature.
I’m only jarred out of my sinful haze by catching si th r of my reflection.
That face staring back at me - I don’t know it.
Dry, lifeless eyes,
the expression of a corpse,
chocolate smeared on the edges of my mouth.
Disgust rises like bile in my throat.
This stranger lives a soft life.
Hours spent lounging by the fire,
fleshy stomach warm and sated,
screen filled with ads and the inane,
I have never known struggle.
The world blazes with fire
and the screams of dying children surround the soul,
so I employ synthetic numbing agents.
Blue light has seared my nerve endings into inactivity
while glucose rots me to my core.
Do my vices truly dim the pain of helplessness?
Or do they simply induce a coma of false innocence
until I’m able to face the world?
“My” face stares back at me,
haunted and hated.
I am vitriol,
bottled up and consumed.
For consumption is the only skill we have left;
purses and devices and anything worth a cent are
boxed up,
framed with silver tongues,
and shoved down our throats faster than we can blink.
And we take the poison,
digesting it like the obedient cattle we are.
Not even thousands of victims can rouse us from our stupor,
willingly chosen to numb the conscience and the void
yawning from self-inflicted purposelessness.
Ibuprofen for the guilt of privilege and powerlessness.
I choke on the silver spoon from which I’m fed these pills
but find I swallow regardless.

What opposes enlightenment?

Endarkenment?
You know, like dusk,
evening,
end of a day
through end of time
on living Earth.

What opposes empowerment?

Disempowerment.

What might oppose Earth's enlightenment
and/or empowerment?

For me
or throughout all multiculturing history?

Possibly both?

I see ego darkness,
depression,
fecklessness?
inability to cause
and/or perpetuate health,
safety,
individual powerlessness.

Do disease
and insecurity
and lack of effective power
feel like ways of experiencing poverty,
absence of healthy robust choice
for you,
as seems to be true of my experience?

Yes,
but poverty does not feel like a synonym
for dark feelings
or disempowerment.

Poverty, like racism,
feels more political,
economic,
more ecosystemic.

What is the opposite of ecosystemic enlightenment
and/or empowerment?

Ego isolation,
unsystemic pathological darkness
and/or disempowerment,
disease,
nonemployment,
absence of meaning or purpose,
economic depression,
recession,
political suppression,
dissociative sublimation,
narcissistic idolatry,
monoculturing rage,
violent zero-sum win/lose capitalism,
religious-cultural apartheid,
ecopolitical suicide,
globally generic genocide,
climate exhaustion,
ego-autonomous annihilation

Do these seem to oppose global
and individual
and local enrichment
for you?
as they do for me.

Perhaps what opposes positive multilateral energy
is always some unilateral form,
political
personal
familial
social
psychological
neurological
theological
ecological
economic
cultural
religious,
of impoverishing experience.
