Talk about strutting your tail-feathers,
and using your assets to get what you want,
when calling card
is no gambit or bluff to flaunt-
In the crimson sky, read taled,
"Glinted Eye", air siren wails
like a little Banshee crossed with Harpy Eagle
getting squirrely-with drifting,
chasing a pantry, sifting.
Shifting winds Wings outstretched,
a dance of grace and the Imp aerial,
serial predator with eyes that see all.
In silence they hunt, in character
they are found like a-spirit bound
to dive and move to strike like lightning
that could take the keys from a kite,
deliver it to lost and found in a single pass
then bolt onto the earthen or serpent mound
for a snack o ripe.
Picking, the time and the place,
to descend from the cloud-face.
A creature of freedom, a seeker
in the wild, it roams without shame,
blame it on the shifting sands-
and Time's dial ectic ding,
turn of style.
The real shame is not to lay your eyes upon
those diabol feathers of fire,
their presence a chakraic idol that evokes
a primal sense of desire.
Bear witness and be thou humbled in awe from this majestic bird,
to hunt like a machine without mood or fear,
in the vast expanse of the open sky, soars above,
perseveres.

A woman is a wonder to behold,
A force of nature, strong and bold.
Her beauty shines both inside and out,
Her heart full of love and her mind devout.
Her eyes are pools of endless depth,
Reflecting the joys and pains she's kept.
Her voice can soothe, calm and inspire,
Lifting up those whose spirits tire.
Her hands are gentle, yet firm and sure,
Working hard with a heart so pure.
She brings forth life with each new birth,
Guiding her children through life's worth.
A woman's strength knows no bounds,
She overcomes, she perseveres, she astounds.
She is a warrior, a queen, a friend,
Her love and compassion knows no end.
So here's to the women of this world,
May your dreams and passions unfurl.
May you know your worth and never forget,
You are loved, respected, and a force to be reckoned with.
Along challenges of life's journey
faith remains steadfast, despite distracting cross roads
to reach Sovereign-destined triumph.
Though body is illness-afflicted
peace-filled heart remains joyous
midst God’s presence in prayer for blessed wellness trip.
Claiming restoration through divine healing
soul trusting the Lord, overcomes trials of trekking pursuits
attaining goal of service fruitfulness.
With yearning for revival toward worship-delight
spirit perseveres to arrive at victorious promised land
grateful to the Holy Spirit for illumining guidance.
Gracious freedom* ceaselessly propelling
commitment to live for Christ as His child
indeed enlivens heavenly journey via kingdom advancement.

Three things in life last forever
Faith, hope and love
The greatest is love
God is love
He that abides in love
Abides in God
And God in him
Success begins in our lives
When the problems and hurts of others
Matter to us
When the wound of one
Is the wound of all
When the pain of others
Is the pain of all
It is only through love
That we can respond to God
If we give everything we own
To the poor but do not love
No matter what we say
No matter what we believe
We are bankrupt without love
Love never gives up
Love is always there to act
In the face of persecution
In the face of intimidation
In the face of trial
In the face of temptation
Lord give us love enough
To overlook the mistakes of others
Lord let us rejoice when others do well
Love cares more for others
Than for self
Love does not want
What it does not have
Love is positive
It does not want anything negative
Love is good
It does not want anything bad
Love does not want hatred
Because love is love
Love does not strut
It does not have swollen head
Love does not belittle anyone
Love does not look down on others

Cannot be entrusted with the power of God
He will misappropriate and misuse it
To hurt himself and others
Love looks around to see who is in need
Cause help is the best investment
In all we do let love lead
Due to a lack of inspiration,
even this weary pen won't flow...
thoughts freeze and allow confusion...
when stillness seems a wind that doesn't blow.
By letting the mind rest, will it restore itself to wholesomeness
and usefulness? Isn't it like our body that refuses to perform well,
when it's exhausted and needs to escape from unbearable tiredness?
Tomorrow awakening, we'll take that challenge by promising a story to tell!
If idleness perseveres, all the honorable glories
we've accumulated will be lost to remoteness and time,
our ideals will fall into oblivion and entirely forgotten by others...
then should we let the mind rest, to stop the writing process in its prime?
I suggest perseverance over needless deprivation;
expressing oneself freely and honestly is effective and worth pursuing,
it provides against profound silence and dull stagnation...
will we let the mind rest and not discover something worth seeing?
Sunlight beams on streets so mean..' As Love reaches out.'
A lonely widow toils unending, till day it fades then shares a morsel with her pet..'
Love aspires... a lust rages, and goals are pursued.' As Love reaches out.'
A man beats his family unmercifully..' A sweet rain falls, and tears flow..
Mists shroud the land, a baker makes dough fires an oven as Love reaches out.'
People plan wars, lies are circulated money is apportioned, deaths are reported..'
Storms batter, economy's teeter politicians smile sweeter. as Love reaches out..'
Women cheat on their partners, inflation is raging..' As Love reaches out..'
Love is patient, Love is kind, it does not envy it does not boast, it is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs' Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth, it always protects always trusts, always hopes always perseveres..'
All children, all people..' require true 'Love' in order to grow as individuals to attain
their best potential, why is it the world is a consumerist, indifferent model at best
and at worst a short selling warring divisive entity, and yet we have highly educated people running things, purportedly for the benefit of all, what's missing here.?
Is it the innocence of true Love..?
Even angel whispers
And angel testimonies
Are counted much as nothing
If love brings no harmony
Even heaven’s atmosphere
Will not refresh the soul
If there is no love to offer
Healing to make you whole
Even the song of angels
Will not sooth or calm
If there is no love to heal
There is no other balm

It does not bring
Tears that blind
“It does not envy
It does not boast”
It does not harm those
That it loves most
“It does not dishonor
It is not proud”
It does not shame

Our heart perseveres to search and find God’s approval by His goodness
As we sing praises unto His name, rejoicing in gratefulness
While declaring His greatness
With His magnificent mightiness.
Our heart perseveres to search and find God’s approval by His heritage
As we value His peculiar treasure, cherishing its heavenly usage
While showing His eternal gift without damage
With His Biblical gauge.
Our heart perseveres to search and find God’s approval by His mercy
As we receive His pardon, claiming it by faith’s fervency
While proclaiming His love’s persistency
By His faithful consistency.
Our heart perseveres to search and find God’s approval by His hand
As we cling unto His upholding, following His command
While fulfilling His eternity-bound commission along firm stand
With His bliss-filled demand.
Our heart perseveres to search and find God’s approval by His pleasure
As we abide in His will, obeying His divine pressure
While trusting His promises that assure

Heather:
my wife, my partner,
my friend, my lover, my treasure.
She's the one who keeps me grounded;
she is my centre.
She is beautiful, smart, thoughtful, clever
and by any measure,
the smartest thing I ever did was wed her.
(Still not sure what I did to impress her!)
We met many years ago in a choir,
and as events would transpire,
she became my heart's desire.
When I thought of her,
my heart would soar higher.
I just knew I wanted to be beside her
and I've always known
my love for her will never tire.
We have been married for twenty-five years.
There's been lots of smiles and laughter and, yes, a few tears,
ups and downs in our careers,
lots of faith, occasional fears,
but our love...the deepest kind of love...perseveres.
