With zero remorse
Jumped off the porch
To play all sorts of sports
Because time is short
And before you know it, you might just be a corpse
All things run their course
So continue forth
Instead of always trying to abort
Around each and every fork
Was looking out way beyond the wharf
By a port
Then headed North
While storms approached with force
Mined and eventually found a source of quartz
In areas where the land was scorched
The next day my voice was hoarse
After popping bottles and corks
While celebrating below several forts
There were meats roasting above a torch
And silverware, some of which included sporks
Simultaneously I spotted flying storks
And toads covered in warts
In an area that once could've been inhabited by orcs

Sam Adams one night
Went to bed after drinking
a bit too much rum
He found himself in a dark forest
He looked up and found
He was not alone
There were creatures
Looking at him
With evil in their eyes
They began chasing Sam
Down the dark forest path
Aliens, banshees, centraurs,demons, devils,
Leprechauns, Lions, Monsters, orcs, robots, tigers
Werewolves, Witches, warlocks, wolves, and zombies
Joined in chasing Sam
Screaming
“Death to the human”.
He jumped over a fence
Found himself stuck
In Limbo
The howling mob
Just outside the door
Next, the board clerk announced
Sam Adams walked up
Took his number
Woke up naked
In bed with a strange woman
Who turned out to be quite dead.
Sam got up
Drank coffee
And left to go to work
Just another nightmare
After drinking too much
Demon rum.

Props to the original Baggins
And his bravery towards the dragons
While he could've stayed behind with the wagons
Just a hobbit and quite the comic
But he should've watched it
And use all logic
Before trying to put on the ring inside of his pocket
Because another was unfortunate and lost it
This made him scathing mad
As he continued aging and
Inside a cave in the hills, far away from any raging sands
Originally had a name
But overtime he had changed
And was no longer the same
They didn't know what else to call him
Except for Gollum
Because he had fallen
And became solemn
Meanwhile the orcs
Marched with force
After coming into contact with the source
Of all evil from the North
The bell continued to toll
As the trolls
Looked to take all souls
With a heart darker than coal
During the events
The mist was dense
And full of suspense
But the ents that were immense
Put in their sense
And helped their allies get across the fence
Here we go again
Around the bend
It didn't end
In the eyes of children, ladies and men
Who could be considered a trusted friend?

It was a dark and stormy night, or so the story goes
Another of those wondrous tales to keep us on our toes
Like looking glass and wonderland, grim witches and their spells
Peter Pan and his lost boys, the lovely Tinkerbell
The days I’ve spent lost to the world, so snug inside a book
The villains who are best of all, Long John and Captain Hook
I’ve sailed away to desert isles and walked the frozen wastes
Swum deep beneath the ocean waves; the Kraken I have faced
Sherlock Holmes to Frankenstein have held me in their thrall
But can I name just one that I have loved the best of all?
On different days I need to find a different place to be
Sitting on my daily train: oh, commuter misery
Today it’s off to Lilliput in the company of Swift
Tomorrow could be opium dens, by Sherlock left adrift
Or possibly to Mordor, to fight those pesky orcs
Or up north to Skallagrigg, to fly among the hawks
If I had a pound or two for every place I’d been
I’d be a millionaire by now, but I really must come clean
The written word to me is worth much more than any cash
A nice new book is just the thing, I’ll add it to my stash
The gadgets that are used today are all right in their place
It’s print and ink in solid form that put a smile upon my face
There's a rumor going around. Mythical little
Stocky men called Dwarves are living in Gem
Mountain.
They're mining jewels of all kinds down below.
Heard tell they're exceptionally skilled in the art
Of Smith metal working steel which explains all
The extra trains.
Now according to legend their weaponry was
The best to obtain.
They're stuff was beautifully hand crafted and
Decorated with jewels that were primo.
There's a rumor going around. Mythical little
Stocky men called Dwarves are living in Gem
Mountain.
The Dwarves made magical weaponry through
A vein
Of mithril put in to metal that is getting harder
To find that will flow.
Heard tell they're exceptionally skilled in the art
Of Smith metal working steel which explains all
The extra trains.
When mithril is found it is harder to get it to
Drain.
Yet, once harvested it can be refined and
Readied to go.
There's a rumor going around. Mythical little
Stocky men called Dwarves are living in Gem
Mountain.
The magical weapons made from mithril puts
Off a blue glow when orcs are near. If used It's
A butane causing pain in their domain
Like many many years ago.
Heard tell Dwarves are exceptionally skilled in
The art of Smith metal working steel which
explains all the extra trains
Along with all the new jewelry chains
And knives that now have combos stamped
with Dwarf cameos.
There's a rumor going around. Mythical little
Stocky men called Dwarves are living in Gem
Mountain.
Heard tell they're exceptionally skilled in the art
Of Smith metal working steel which explains all
The extra trains.
It’s all magic to Joe
and music to me, too.
An owl’s quiet hoot
even simpler than the pentatonic bamboo flute.

Belonging to the drums and wooful war
I woof and bay like every other dog.
Ukes v. Orcs, a hockey brawl
the pros vault the stands and redd the fans.

It’s only a papier-mache moon. Or is it?
Hey ho the wind and rain wear us away and it’s ok.
The outline disappears and the meaning.
This could be a pert sweet thing.
* * *
Rain in my courtyard. Rusty trucks stuck in mud.
To bring order from chaos, just say yes.
Or do the day’s disputes leave you indisposed
to share your heart of zero and your inner rose?

The tragic mind knows nuclear inferno is a probability.
Every leaf that’s coming out is out, come what may.
That’s joy. As time grows short, I get stoic.
There’s work to do but does it matter if I do it?

Start each day in despair, work up to acceptance.
That there’s no there there requires resistance.
Give generously, gratuitously, flamboyantly
like good luck, but stop before it hurts.

Apocalyptic visions are popular again
but Earth will merely take a mulligan.
Beyond mountains more mountains,
peepers peeping.
Ukraine is putting up a brave fight and is not giving in
A two finger salute to that murderer, Vladimar Putin
For eight months now they've held out in their cities
Dispite missiles, murder, rape and other atrocities.
Putin thought he had the most powerful and efficient army
If you believe that garbage you'd be bordering on barmy
They're inefficient, ill equipped, and cowardly in battle
When Ukraine advances they quickly retreat from trouble.
As winter approaches he's trying to demoralise the nation
By sending orders to his vile Orcs to bomb a power station
The west must send generators to help ease their plight
Along with more weapons to help, brave Ukrainians fight.
The grain shipments to poor nations is now under threat
That man is sub human and how much lower can he get?
Like the Roman empire and the Nazis big cracks will appear
Putins Russian empire will crumble and eventually disappear.
The Russian army has a long yellow streak down its back
It fires missiles indiscriminately when it's under attack
No thought for human life be it kids, women or old men
Sanctioned in that scum ridden place, they call the Kremlin.
Putins campaign for more troops is not going too well
No decent minded Russian wants to go into that hell
He's recruiting in prisons, along with the old and the lame
Putins cannon fodder and for Ukraine they're fair game.
We must not let Putin succeed, with his 'special operation'
He must think we're stupid; it's war against a peaceful nation
I have every faith in brave Ukraine and in the end they will win
There will be no Russian victory, and hopefully the end of Putin.
Victory to Ukraine.
