Die for something you believe in heaven forbid
Well don’t you know that’s what Jesus did.
Rather you believe it or not its true
He went to the cross believing in me and in you
We would rather choke on our pride or just run and hide
Instead of bearing our cross like he did and died
And this is how we repay our debt
By living our lives in so much regret s
Yet we drop to our knees in hopes to be forgiving
Get up and go right back to the way we are living
Then have the nerves to say how much I love the lord
When we cant even live in one accord
Man we got life all screwed up
What if Christ all the sudden just gave up
I mean half of us don’t even thank him
Now what if he’s asking his father( should I still believe in them?)
Now God showed us how mad he can get before
When he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah..
Now after that we should have learned
That its going to be hell to pay when Jesus return
He’s not going to be quite as stern
No more water this time we will burn
The curtains drawn the room very gloomy
the stage free of debris and finally the
music plays at first it seems like I'm
dreaming my spouse his lover the mouse
I'm conducting this play as the velvet day
moves the shadowy figures about for I am
the mistro the ushers are a no show the crowd
began to beg for the director to open the
show soon the notes all off the pages are
torn my legs bleed my nerves right out of my
body the theme song so simple as a teen with
a pimple that burst right in me before the dance
silence please I must conduct from my knees for
they are sore my fingers tremble at deaths doors
as I open them for I am sure that the gods move in
full circle and right on cue the cello so broad so firm
takes my soul as the violins began to cry my mind sigh
for the crowd has stopped and followed the pitch
as the Bella screamed death to the poet
for my souls an empty theater

Skipping Stones
I went to an interview with a nervous heart,
My mind racing agile, my thoughts all apart,
I paced and I fretted, I worried and stewed,
But then I saw a skipping stone and my mood improved.
I picked it up and held it tight,
Feeling its smoothness, its weight just right,
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes,
And imagined the stone skipping across the skies.
I pictured it gliding across the water,
Each skip is a reminder to focus harder,
To let blare of worries, to release stress,
And just be present at this moment, no less.
With each skip of the stone, my mind grew clear,
My nerves settled down, my confidence appeared,
I walked into that interview with a calm and steady pace,
And I knew that I had found my auspicious place.
So now whenever I feel anxious or stressed,
I remember that stone and how it brought me rest,
I abide a deep breath and let my worries fly
As a stone sliding grasp, find truth in any way.
Heart tells me to
Ease when I am
Anxious and
Relaxes me
Tactically through soothing rhythms
Triggers hormones
Relatively with the assistance of brain
Understands my plight
Tempts me to dance and
Hushes my emotions..!!
My heart knocks fervently
So that I would open the hutch
and let it flutter free..
Enticing me often to go
for a waltz with my partner,
swaying in his arms hours together;
Pounding thumps compose music and
convinces me to perform salsa & duet .
The erogenous zones creates goosebumps
and tickles the sensual nerves;
Tantalizes belly for a boogie woogie,
And my foot taps the tiles below continually
yearning for a jazz ,
as lyrical swing guides our delicate body
with fluid movements
expelling rhythmic joy.....!!!

Each night I suffer a horrible dream,
I'm lost in a forest and all alone.
Then a wolf appears and I start to scream,
He sinks in his teeth ripping flesh from bone.
I'm startled awake in a pool of sweat,
The vision still fresh in my tear stained eyes.
Well knowing the dreams I haven't had yet,
Are waiting to spring a ghastly surprise.
Night after night as I lie in my bed,
Before I sleep, I just cower in fear.
But the same dream replays in my head,
Resigned to the fact that madness is near.
With my nerves shot and unable to eat,
The days grow blurry and crippled by fright.
As I stagger along on worn out feet,
Still afraid that the wolf will prowl tonight.
Sure this nightmare will never be through,
Blinded by fear and lacking all hope.
I know there's only one thing I can do,
Now dangling at the end of a rope.
Born like a tender infant in nature,
Why do you soon change your nomenclature?
Does stress, like nerves striking the human brain
Craze your equilibrium and cause strain...?
Progress process of an infant proceeds,
Passes each phase fulfilling many needs;
Your growth spurt jumps and leaps abounding hills,
Your change to gusts, gales, and tornado thrills...!
Flute, horn, clarinet, oboe, piccolo,
Dwelling within these, breath of life you blow;
Impulses and cognitions bound, and pound,
Into existential hymns, these resound...!
You nurture the naysay nerve of nature,
Niftily you numb each legislature;
In life's moments of minute mundane gist,
Do you teach me: each gist is its own twist...???

Within the singing stillness of the sphere, I awaken from a breeze,
Consciousness, a proud guardian in the temple of endlessness,
The eternal fire in the hands of time, keeper of the ephemeral flame,
Watches with fervor the dawn's bleaching within the womb of the soul,
The caress of each now, a sacred breath,
In the sunrise of thought, a discreet flight through the branches of eternity.
The eyeball, a beacon of enlightenment, ever attentive and vigilant,
Stalks the hidden realm catalyzing the clear waters of pivotal sight,
Its nerves are canvases, meanings unveiled in premeditation,
Sometimes, it bows under the intensity of exposure,
Other times, it recreates under the caress of fulfillment, when the nagging prophecy
Receives the embodied crown of revelation.
Casting aside the quantum thread of ignorance,
The arms of wisdom embracing the sparks of knowledge,
The knowing heart's tears transform ashen puzzles
Into mosaics reflecting the passion and sharpness of new awakening,
For the dance of consciousness, luminous and aware,
Gently removing the eruptions of the sterility of indifference,
Surpassing the boundaries of the self in the search for ecstasy.
A lantern of meditation in the deluge of full light,
The shared and ample harvest - no soft crumb of bread lost,
Encrusted in the deceptive slab, the sheen of false gravity,
The splendor of the guardian, never overshadowed - the eternal morning, pierced by the torch,
Revealing the clear brilliance of joy - the identity of the pilgrim heart, dispelling shadows of blindness.
In the attentive web of the moment, consciousness weaves the scattered shards
Into luminous portraits, recontouring the open faces of generosity,
Discarding the careless spindle of inattention, the clear mark of apathy,
Born from willful ignorance, the seeker animates the hand of the attentive -
To listen! To see! To feel! To move in the rebirth of deed!
The spirit enlivened through the profoundly accented humility of grace.
Night time rest
I lie there counting the stars
as they glint in the Heavens
Desperate to sleep
exhausted tears streak streams
from cheek to pillow
Not that I feel sorry for myself
just simply worn out
in need of short respite
Scared to try to move
as nightly rigamortis sets in
but need is there to move
to free the stiffness
work through extreme pain
to break the grip
of thise imprisoned bones
to free the body
and bring short relief
that I might make routine bathroom trip
before it is too late
and further humiliation takes hold
Once I can bend and straighten legs freely
I can shuffle around suffice to sit
then reassure myself
just enough to feel able to cope
To push and put one foot in front of the other
Force this swollen crumbling body beyond the pain
required to move from sitting to standing
to start to brave the world once more
So I can live life to its fullest
The calm tends to come after the storm
but the peace that follows can be short lived
never knowing when the winds direction will turn on its heal
bringing tornados and lightening strikes
to rack tortures torment through my spine and legs
where this disabling degenerative disease desires domination
Red lipstick disguise fools those around me
They don't see me during these difficult times
the occasions I let only those closest to me near
Times I become almost totally reliant
Like so many mornings when I've no choice
but grapple between the raise bar
and my husbands strong arm
to standing stooped position
Flattened hands search the fronts of wardrobe doors
sliding upwards as I straighten up
taking crutches one in each hand
I prop myself strongly
then carefully I step slowly
and with each movement new release
begins to fall fresh upon me
for but short time
until the hours play same record over
or the devils bow plays fiddle
with the nerves in my body for encore
when light faded out
and darkness descended
when all over me
the icy chill began to creep
I slammed the windows and doors
tightly shut
and like a child crawled
into my padded bed,
while the winter gale
was still raging outside
you broke upon my thought
as a euphonious melody.
when I longed for your warmth,
you knocked upon my feeble heart
as your voice trailed across to me
louder and louder,
I woke up from my languorous sleep
felt snug, the chillness around me, swept away
and a strange desire,
coursed through my nerves
I could feel the heat
of your tumultuous passion
the soft touch
of your caressing hands
the musky odor
of your fragrant breath
the warmth in your almond eyes
you stood before me
as an embodiment of grace
you opened the windows to let in the light
not leaving me grope in blinding darkness
you took me to the seas
of shore less delight
you enlivened every atom of my being
kindled in me the fire
of amorous desire
swept me off my feet
by the inundating tide of love
I felt my sleeping passions
suddenly set ablaze
Alas, with my senses lulled to sleep
leading me into a state of serene calm
through the door ajar,
you faded out like an evanescent dream
leaving me so stupefied....!

*****************
Hidden in my heart, a hunter lies fallow,
A frost facade of fervent pride may hollow.
Shattering under its sheer, insane size,
No vacant void where guilt can seal its rise.
Below the confines, formless faces beam,
Brittle grins on my chest cut nerves with seams—
As the majestic sculpture cascades into falls,
Gracious tyrant glides by chest cracked walls.
Tides ditch, serenely, spurred under the sea,
A ship sank, its mission unknown at sea—
A descent into the sea unbending floor,
I hold the rocks but I long to hold the shore.
The true tormentor takes no tangible form,
No nefarious whispers wove evil harm—
It is the icon inspired by my unique mark,
This smothers self, savor its searing spark.
I became my own assassin in the night,
Barricaded windows against forgiving light.
Yet through the broken veneer of my mind,
Merciful patient, yet ruthless and kept behind.
To cracked shards, grief strips shroud away,
A warmth that wipes out the weariest gray—
Swiftly lost in a recurrent rush of raging swells,
The wall of my ego is thrown in deep wells.
World's false smiles fade without a sound—
They hold no power on this holy ground.
Wrapped in a love without horizon trend,
The wounded heart begins to mend.
Wreck is restored, and winter grip releases,
A stillness falls and calms all anxious pieces.
Freed and fruitful, I raise a freshly formed shell,
Embracing this extraordinary, unearned spell.
