A magnificent eagle flying overhead is amazing,
as is, watching their dare-devil plummeting to earth;
floating over water, feeding on salmon, and from trees gazing,
and guarding their precious eggs in deep nests till the eaglets birth.

Their high-pitched piercing scream are a symbol of wisdom,
to the Ojibwe eagles represent freedom, courage, strength, skill;
power, bravery- to align oneself with the eagle is to attain vision,
and to wear an eagle feather is respect- but only if given with will.

To cruelly remove feathers or kill for the feathers is wrong,
eagles are a symbol of the wilderness for the Ojibwe and others;
in nature soaring across the sky is where the eagles belong,
they mate for life and the females make adept and caring mothers.

I proudly wear my eagle feather for it fell from the sky,
we, society are used to images of the eagles in graceful flight;
just watching them makes me become breathless and sigh,
but also they are love of a mother and eaglets.- Oh what a sight!

TREE BRANCHES

I
on the beach of every person that was and will be
i was but a single grain of sand…
nature and death the humblers of man…
external labels should be replaced with simply “i am.”
much like life this poem is free verse no iambs…

where every face seems to have an ulterior
in today’s world, at birth none are superior or inferior
the key rests in judging less of the exterior…
though many men choose evil,
so one must gage their interior…

they squander the gift and deserve society’s backlash
still some men are unrightfully
grouped in with society’s trash…
our judging eyes often deceive us like cash…

the universe which sees collective over (>) the Ego’s trap…
looking in nature’s processes will help one see that…
there is a “you” that exists off society’s map…
expand your mind and it may land in your lap…

Premium Member A Walk In the Park

On my daily evening walk in the park, I pause to see
Beautiful squirrels and grotesque rats together feed
With neither pride nor prejudice, sharing and caring
It is clear to me that they live by need and not greed

The adjectives I assigned to outer forms I so beheld
Reflects my narrow, unevolved and judgmental view
Oh, woe on me that as yet I see not God in each form
Why on earth does my heart as yet such toxicity spew

Moving on I am captivated by a koel’s melodious song
She minds not an interruption by a crow’s jarring caw
Atop the same tree, in joy and harmony, both coexist
With no anchor for rancour, they understood God’s law

A sunbird constructs her nest patiently, straw by straw
She fears not fierce predators that around her abound
Although she’s so tiny and fragile, in God’s grace trusts
Oh, where within my fickle heart can such faith be found

I know,
in both head
and anemic heart,
other climate healers
right here and now,
compassion theaters
across Earth's internationalized space
and throughout tribal time

Breathe integrity's potential
acting
thinking
feeling out and in there and here
somewhere close
and somewhere far
across Earth's polluted oceans,

Yet my own everyday
immediate family relationships
neither speak nor hear
anything of this cooperative win/win integrity.

What am I?
What are we
listening to instead?

Internal climates of despair
about outside long-weathered detachment,
disintegration,
desecration,
degeneration

Win/Lose competitive commodification of life,
evolution of ego-expansion,
anthro-history hubris of detachment,
now rabidly fragmenting
into organic ecosystemic empires
of self-isolated would-be communicators
for and against our future experiential lose/lose outcomes,
or maybe win/lose, though highly unlikely,
in a ZeroSum,
winner takes all, capitalized Wealth economy,
or maybe win/win personal and public
economic and ecological
political and empowering prospects
of secular/sacred integrity scripts
scriptures

Regenerative transcriptions
still powering with
not not degenerative inscriptions

To Lose exterior nature, is to Lose interior spirit;
To Lose secular faith, is to Lose sacred hope;
To Lose integral health, is to Lose integrity wealth;

To Lose RightWing Win/Lose zealous zero-zone dominance,
is to Lose LeftWing ego-liberated,
not interdependently ecocentric,
climate health EarthTribe prominence.

To Win/Win
breathes in and out transubstantiation,
just this here and now
appositional cooperative,
secular/sacred compassion.

Curious,
such lack of re-attaching courage
to give voice to feeling needy
for shared compassion
with each other,
within our families, extended and nuclear,
within ourselves, eco-big and ego-small,
as with Earth's exterior healthier climate
prospects for future familial regenerators
of all species,
and parties,
and local communities,
and global universities
of ecological/theological inter-relationships.

Premium Member The Faithful Sun

The faithful sun rose in the eastern sky
Slowly over the swamp and the mist on the water
Bringing the breeze that whispers through the cattails
And the dew-covered grass…

The sound of wing-slapped water as geese rise in flight
They call out with a symphony of voices
Welcoming the morning
Everywhere I look is teeming with life
Beauty
And Solitude…

The cry of the red-tailed hawk
The chiding crows
The heron stalking its prey…

Everything I see overwhelms me
Until it wells up in my eyes with gratitude
Until it fills my heart with hope…

You must look if you hope to see
Listen if you hope to hear
Sit in silence if you hope to understand
Empty yourself if you would be filled…

To be bathed in the landscape of Grace
Where your truth awaits
As one with all creation…

All of this birthed in me
As the essence of the Love of God
All things seen and unseen
As the sun bursts into my being…

Until the very light I sought to see
Blinds me with its brilliance
Transforming with mercy
Uniting me with its fragile beauty…

The preciousness of this fleeting moment
Shines in the reflections of the morning sun
On the surface of my soul…

I bow my heart before the artist!

Premium Member Summer's Chill Anticipations

When I am gone,
in winter's timeless hibernation,
what will you be doing
with this sanctifying place
in time's healing space
refueling mortal rememory?

When you peer here
in summer's eternal play
what could I begin feeling
in such sadly glad sanctifying
pre-winterizing grace

In spacious golden
compassioned imaginations,
thoughtfully rebuilt
green cooperative restorations

Softening fear of sacred matriarchal loss
and not enough attention

Anger's trauma scars
replaced with AnthroHope
we might, one day,
receive EarthMother's
health and safe wealth dope
honorable midsummer mention

Fair-weathered
and rich-soiled
divinely humane
transtheistic rooted
polyvagal neuro-systemic structure
rebooted

Bilaterally reset
to sacred indigenous Win/Win
summer/winter
anticipating souls.

Myriad Of Words

A myriad of words could be written today
Ten thousand more tomorrow and onwards
I will never cease the art of writing
Cannot bear the notion of holding my tongue about:

The liminal spaces who cannot speak
The ancient lands longing to be felt and seen
Our earth mother who cares so much for all
Our innate everlasting worth that can at times feel depleted or small

I channel endless words and my senses express
I welcome the all encompassing
I honor the ebbs and flows
The metaphorical deaths that transform and morph
I witness my consciousness ponder
And hope to surround others in auric fields of love and light

Blessed peace from God's heart
offered for my soul with blissful love
illumines my understanding on heavenly wisdom
packed with mercy and grace for vibrant hope each day...
oh, such divine gifts* marked by compassion toward sharing.

Triumphantly receiving the Lord's mercy and kindness...
here am I empowered to reach-out
grateful, as my spirit clings to His love
joyous for His pardon of awesome understanding
now willing to radiate His peace of goodness-glow.

*Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

A speck of dust upon the moss,
A tiny life the breezes toss,
Too small for any passing eye,
Beneath the wide and heavy sky.

It has no stem to proud upright,
No brilliant petals catching light,
No perfume drifts across the lake,
Where sleeping frogs and ripples wake.

Yet Wolffia drifts, a microscopic dot,
Upon the still pond's quiet spot,
No roots to anchor in the silt,
No green and spreading leaves to wilt.

A speck of green, a simple grain,
Untouched by heavy summer rain,
Two grains of salt could match its weight,
So small it mocks the grand and great.

Through needle eyes its frame could slide,
Like quiet hurts we lock inside,
A single stamen, lonely fruit,
An empire built without a root.

The busy bee goes buzzing by,
To seek the garden's painted crowd,
And misses where the treasure lies,
Concealed from all impatient eyes.

Whole ages fade and cities rust,
While mountains crumble into dust,
The loudest voices fade away,
Like shadows at the end of day.

For greatness is not born of might,
Or standing tallest in the light,
The weary heart can still endure,
With quiet steps, and purposes pure.

Mountain Meaning Iv - New Being

I imagine
A day with plants and no plastics

No oil gas or coal dug up and sprayed from underneath
No trees removed
No bees boxed up

No smoke curled to the blue sky
No animals carved up and slaughtered

We
The Gods of Technology
Living in a universe separate and freed

From the violent capitalist divine of Nature
And from our own wild Darwinian instincts

Driving us like depressed unsatisfied madmen
To consume s**t sleep and reproduce

Consume s**t sleep and reproduce
Consume s**t sleep and reproduce
Consume s**t sleep and reproduce

To wonder from this cycle
What is the meaning?

Climbing a mountain because it is there

Yes
I imagine when each human being
Is but an artist an angel a scientist philosopher

Modern pioneers of less not more
Cuddling to Love that’s real Within.
