The fresh woft of roast ham
Although they will accept lamb
A beep of the air fryer
Their bellies full of desire
They would destroy this juicy meat
And see it as a sweet treat
Flowing throughout the house
The scent of freshly roasted honey hit their wet snouts
The excitement palpable, barks and shouts
The tension rises as it cools
Tails wag as they work out how to manipulate those fools
Eyes staring, not leaving their prize
The whimpers and the cries
All 3 ready to pounce
In their eyes no doubt
3 sets of eyes gazing into each moist slice
Only ham will suffice
All laid down, paws stretched
Drool flowing waiting for the slice of perfect
Their eyes never leaving me
Begging and pleading
Tongue licking their lips
As more drool drips
Finally their slice arrives at their mouth
2 seconds before it’s gone
my eyes drooling
sparkling moist
glistening
lights up
smiling of joy
happiness within
you set my world
on fire
like the Indian's of old
my burning embers
of you love
smoke drifting
to the heavens
my spirit speaks
to you
in the clouds
in my life
you offer
me hope
from my ashes
i will rise
bowing my head
in finding salvation
smoldering remains
of a love
as the wind blows
lifting me to the heaven's
far away
in her open theatre
surrounded by forks
of lightning
in an open stage
the burning
aroma of you
casting its spell
all over my heart
love i never seen
such beauty
flashing lightning
radiates
your hair
my soul's heaven
for my heart
my spirit speaks
to my soul
then to you
my sweetheart
my love to you loyalty
in you
a lovers dream
you love
a true vision
held in my heart
Eye contact at a bar,
Laughter mixes pheromones,
Irises dilate as dark euphoria sets
Two unavoidable actions in motion.
His double action Adams apple pumping
As her lips glisten after a tongue bath.
Lightning cracks inside, deafening logical rhythm,
Channeling energy into porcelain-like
Vessels of desire.
Muscle tightens under skin, defining
Halted passion, sensual urges, and plasma thirst.
Blood pumps into veins, temperature is in flux,
Perceptions re-imagined, recollecting interests.
She sees his primal fierce eyes, sculpted body
Under a new light. A canvas to etch her
Screams in with red polish. Painful,
Pleasurable thoughts invade, creating
Memory before action.
He smells her fragrance, he feels her breaking
Resolve submitting to him. The chemistry of his
Anatomy pulling, swimming, clawing at each
Fiber of her being. Her skin’s cold and moist,
His, warm banana nut bread.
First embraces, friction, resistance, motions
In oceans of soaked sheets. Powerful
Contractions, condensation on windows,
Perspiration dripping beads over
Limbs. Forcing self upon self is
Maddening, to conceive, to imagine
Hard sounding drums pounding
Soft harmonic beats into one
Human melody.
Exhaustion, the wasteland of battle,
Blood and lipstick swirling eyeliner into
War paint. Carcasses lay strewn, scars
Ridden across back and thigh.
Tears fall down cheeks out of pure
Joy and affirmation of lust.
May I buy you another?
The best choice of words
Made a dream come true
For whom?
"Can he talk?"
"No."
"Is he your son?"
"No."
He tries to take the chewed up
Food out of his mouth
Not because he isn't hungry
But to play with it
In his, for all appearances,
Half-conscious state
(head hung low, nodding thickly)
While being fed lunch
In the middle of a sunny park.
I gently bat his hands from his animal mouth
Jelly and peanut butter all over his tiny fingers
He rolls the moist bread crumbs
Between his fingers
Into a fine paste.
This frustrates me.
Until I try and imagine
Life behind undeveloped eyelids.
Watery white. Infant big.
Drool-splattered shirts.
Sadder than tears.
God's secret good.
Stumbling, now, stumbling.
A Valentine's Day Poem
Valentine, my sweet Valentine
Would you be my Valentine?
Waltz with me with the soothing,
Warm, rich, clear, and relaxing
Sounds of the violin
While in concerts discipline.
We'll float on an endless cloud as the bow dances
Around the strings and filtrates
Under the splendor of the brightness
Kisses of the full moon and stars glistens
Revealing beautiful velvet red rose
Sweet aroma of moist dew flows
Silently yearning for the heart I've chosen for love to ignite
Whispers of my soul, to embark on a moonlight flight
Whispering good morning, refreshing
Kisses good night, quenching
With the person I'm in love
Heart full of emotion for the one I love

This road is snake-like except
for the crusty scales of an intestinal
late dusk. A boy treaded on the
lane tracks lean and nomadic...
burnt shoulders grilled and toasted by
the sun, as if his coal skin sparked like
burning diamond weeds. In a flash, a tender
sorcery poured in my veins. There and then,
I longed to whisper a tune, play the tambourine or
partake of the loaf in my sack with him.
But he waited for paper clouds to ruffle his hair,
seemingly undisturbed by pilgrims like me
holding unto holy relics and bones of night. The gauze
shirt as his frock winged with the silver winds,
windblown stroking my ebony tresses with a whisper
hushed by his delicate omnipresence.
In a dimly lit bus, sand wheezed tribal notes
moist on my eyelids uprooted by uncontained
temples of longing, now becoming thick
as woolen destiny. If only for a flicker of time,
his eyelids met mine so briefly... parting saline dust
of sacred, smiling gazes. I was inside a cell
of a wombed bus. He was outside enlarged by a
hundred stars exploding dewdrops, inviting eternity.
For a fraction of silence, we met somewhere
between the fluorescent of our twin eyes. He, the angel
first fondly encountered ; I, the dreamer ever bewildered…
I remember...I was five.

Somnolent silence
Sleepy eyelids;
Cool breeze calms
~~~~~~~~~
Shady enclave
Squirrel homestead;
Tree house condo
~~~~~~~~~
Old man sits
Park connector walkway;
Solitary meal pack
~~~~~~~~~
Walkway cobblestones
Chameleon runs swiftly;
Bushy hiding place
~~~~~~~~~
Eye to eye we talk
Wordless but real;
Smiles for paragraphs
~~~~~~~~~
Surprise delights
Gourmet meal hurls;
Sensational bites
~~~~~~~~~
Micro story tale
Proof with less words;
Punchy commute
~~~~~~~~~
Bonsai tree
Miniature fruits;
Mindful miracle
~~~~~~~~~
Feel fleeting madness
Pain sparks senses;
Expect new joy
~~~~~~~~~
Be still and know
Love wears a glow;
Spread love that grows
~~~~~~~~~
Dawn arrives now
Cast of miracles;
Dance into dreams
~~~~~~~~~
Glow of warm cheer
Passion moves fest;
A worthwhile journey
~~~~~~~~~
Zen moments charm
Rock and stone on sand;
Mind ballet brush
~~~~~~~~~
Moments here
Moist airy breeze;
Foretells wet rain
~~~~~~~~~
Artisan crafts
Fond textures rich;
Magic hands glide
~~~~~~~~~
Shy young boy
Curious eyes peep;
Singapore
Stuffing, pickles, olives too
A wishbone for me and you
Cranberries and pumpkin pie
Dig right in now, don't be shy
Dark or white meat, it's your choice
Every things juicy and moist
Mashed potatoes, carrots, squash
Peeled, sliced, carefully washed
Football games on big T.V.s
Loud belches from beer bellies
Leftovers are wrapped up tight
For a snack late in the night
Turkey salad, soup and more
Heated gravy that you pour
On a sandwich full of flavor
Lots of things to taste and savor
Turkey day has come and gone
But it won't be very long
Till your ovens full again
Good times with family and friends
Angelic facial features with huge sparkling eyes
A perfect youthful dewy complexion
Very long silky looking thick hair
Red pouty lips moist with bright cherry gloss
Long red nails with big sparkling rings
A 22-inch waist, with perfect measurements
Legs that go on and on, forever, with
Perfect feet and toes in spiked heels
A very busty hour glass figure....
This air brushed enhanced fantasy woman can be found in most fashion magazines.
This was poem is written to bring attention to teenagers and the perfect body images they are trying to compete with. This has caused self-esteem issues and eating disorders as well as depression and suicidal thoughts. It would be so nice if our society depicted normal healthy realistic women in fashion magazines!
Meritorious lessons, verily memorable
meant by organ grinder or street musician I virtually met
move me to mention my meditations…
Midst his marvelous music
my momentous milestones are filled with hymns*
magnifying the majesty of the Supreme Almighty…
Musing about his magic
my mind is mesmerized with charm of melodious
minutes meandering toward merriment-mirth…
Marked by his impact along what his messages impart
my mentality seems to murmur against
mistakes human nature succumbs to as
my spirit melts toward meekness-moist
mending for magnanimity while aiming for God’s
mercy of faith's flame and truth's frame-merging.
Mentored on functional management
my ministry pursuits never minimize
mighty miracles of the Lord against
mysteries lurking and mockingly
mounting over the last organ grinder’s
monkey business matters.
