The Best Things In the World Still Come To Us Free

A rainbow after a storm can never be beat
The feeling of the beach sand beneath your tired feet
When someone says they love you and your overcome and can’t keep compose
When your walking down the street and you stop to smell the rose

You can have wealth and power but you still will never see
That the best things in the world still come to us free

The heat of a fire to keep you from the cold
The sensation of laughter that will keep you from being old
Watching everything bloom on a beautiful spring day
Listening to a friends problems and hearing them say I’m ok

You can have wealth and power but you still will never see
That the best things in the world still come to us free

Seeing someone for the first time that has been desperately missed
That inner tingling excitement right after you’ve just been kissed
Doing charity work for free for a cause that needs giving
This is what life is all about and makes it worth living

You can have wealth and power but you still will never see
That the best things in the world still come to us free

The silence of someone special broken by their heartbeat
Overcoming the odds and laughing at defeat
The changing tide of the ocean the endless sky of blue
But my favorite thing of all is just being with you

You can have wealth and power but you still will never see
That the best things in the world still come to us free
