"For only in imbalances we feel
the balance that keeps life on even keel."
                                                      -by Poet

Each life can offer hurdles- somewhat hard to solve
filled with imbalances that rock the soul and heart.
The pleasures versus struggles battle to resolve
a peacefulness that governs when ordeals depart.

For what is joy without its contrast with despair?
No tides would push and pull devoid of ebb and flow.
The earth would die with just the sun- no rain affair.
Sans darkest night, no day could wake to renewed glow.

Life's struggles shape realities defining peace;
must strive to overcome each dire adversity.
Combating, pushing to adjust- new joys increase
to help forget- accept new-found diversity.

Life struggles create stormy days that come and pass;
with hopeful perseverance- brighter ones amass.

Questions

She questions her life..
She questions her mortality..
She questions her immortality..

Curiously seeking for answers ..
Of the unknown..

Who am I..
Why do we rise and fall..
Why is there pain..
Why is there suffering..

Imbalances exist in a perfectly balanced world..
Earth is beautifully balanced..
As she spins gracefully..
She is in perfect harmony..
Her pure essence is of love..
Her pure essence is of nurture..
As she nurtures us all with the splendor of nature..

Overwhelmed she is at times..
As our nuturing Mother Earth continuously..
Balances our inbalances..
Of which there are disturbances to her harmonic flow..

She maintains her glory..
As nature shall always remain perfect..

Who am I..
Mortality is only the body..
Immortality is all and one..
An immortal soul strives in magnificence..
No birth as it always exited..
Rebirth as it seeks to remember..
To experience..
An immortal soul glides passionately through..
Different chapters of life..
Lives and dimensions of what is..

One cannot rise..
Unless one falls..

Of which there lies pain and suffering..

We only fall..
Just to rise again..
Again and again..

As she questions her mortality..
Her immortality..
Her answers are found within..

literature of the mind speaks to the thinking
brain crowded with a craving thought process
never forced never captured it flows throughout
the chemical imbalances within the mind craving
a sullen vocabulary to allow the thought process
to be eventually heard rather the writer is deaf
or mute the pages screams to be heard in order to
allow thought to dance across pages leaf's binderies
an yet unedited valued by the readers who are more
captivating by their own thinking skills during
the moment of meeting literature at a quiet calm
developing the overstood knowledge simply
drawing interest across a theater of thinking minds
why at the same time with only one concept wisdom
that is not just to read but to understand to interpret
what the writer is merely trying to express by gathering
thinkers to this grand meeting of the thinking mind

An appeal

Guys, please lend me your pointed ears , The happy new year brings new beginnings, Try to forget the past sad events, peers, Believe the new year and new innings. Listen, monotheism is very very strong, Where there is the practice of polytheism, Monogamy is mighty in society so long, Where there is polygamy idealism. A deer lives happily in the meadows, Where there is a wild tiger existence, Lotus can grow well in pond's ooze, And it doesn't change its consistence. The world moving towards religious fanaticism, It is dangerous for a successful democracy, Identity is not better than humanitarianism, Citizens should go against autocracy. We have to face up to the upcoming challenges, They may be different in each and every country, If wage war against economic imbalances, Then only humanism will grow earthly.

The Teenage Body After Suicide

The human being
(also referred throughout history
as 'long pig' and 'hairless goat'
in the case of younger specimens)
Observing the anatomy and skeleton,
one can see that the human animal
after death young tender meat.

The large central pelvis and broad shoulder blades
also interfere with achieving perfect cuts.
There are advantages to this however,
especially due to the fact that the specimen girl
will weigh between 100-200 pounds,
easily manipulated by one man with proper leverage.

Controlled environments like institutions or jails before.
Health and diet to outward appearances maintained.
Humans are not very kind to the dead here it is why you are.
You are an unknown to me
thus subject to an enormous range of diseases,
infections, chemical imbalances,
and poisonous bad habits, all typically decreasing with age.
I personally prefer calm firm caucasian females
in their early teens.
These are 'ripe'.
But the saw varies from cut to cut,
and again there it is a very large herd to choose from.

The M.E.)
Medical Examiner will need a fairly large room and sufficient space
in which to work (an interior location is suggested)
and a large table for a butcher's block.

A central overhead support will need to be chosen
or installed ahead of time to hang the young body from.
Large tubs or barrels for blood
and waste trimmings should be convenient,
and a water source close by.

Most of the work can be done with a few simple tools.
Sharp, clean short and long bladed knives,
a cleaver or hatchet, and a hacksaw and ribspreaders.

Body Preparation requires plenty of water.
This helps flush the system,
purging stored toxins and bodily wastes,
as well as making bleeding and cleaning easier.
This one I will call Jane doe 007
was found at a bar stunned into insensitivity.

Sharp unexpected blows to the head put her at rest
quite is best, tranquilizers being recommended
If this is not possible without exciting the body
and causing a longer struggle (which then pumps
a greater volume of blood
and secretions such as adrenaline throughout the body
A single bullet through the middle of the forehead
exiting the back of the skull here did nice.

For what ever reason her companion is here right beside her.
Is is called murder suicide I think it is two suicides.
Whom ever goes last gets the cellophane wrap.

The Hero I Don'T Deserve

Hey, my name is Aaron and I am kinda a modern day superhero

Now I know what you’re thinkin’

Okay, this guy? A hero? Like with powers and skills?

Nah but before you think further hear me out.

Yes… I don’t have money like Stark or Wayne

I don’t have a back story like Peter Parker and definitely not a love interest like Mary Jane.

I don’t have a super serum or gamma radiation to explain the chemical imbalances in my brain

My super hero name is not catchy or personifying.

Normally it comes along as,

“Dude”

“Brother”

“Son”

“Dad”

But you see I know how it feels to not be able to save the ones you love most,

To always try and do the right thing but still fail the ones closest to you.

When other's worlds are falling apart I’m always the planet they land on

Now what I do have is a secret identity,

Hiding the pains and struggles I bare to bare the problems of those who can’t themselves.

While Ironically not wanting to put the burden on someone else because I feel I’m strong enough and the traumas others go through are way worse than mine.

My super powers aren’t swinging from roof tops or having my fiery flaming eyes glistening,

Mine are as simple as loving and listening.

Never judging and forever being understanding,

Fighting the villains that are your biggest weakness that have no effect on me.

You see,

Depression, Anxiety, mental tortures

Family traumas and mental disorders

Those of which I’m immune to like superman to bullets,

Now I do have a kryptonite.

losing site on the ones closest to me because I go out of my way to try and save others.

Because even though my life is impossibly knotted,

If I can still manage to untangle someone else’s and hopefully inspire them to be the light they want to see in this villainous world, then I know I have done what I’ve been called to be,

To be the hero I don’t deserve.

See-Saws - (First Poem posted on PoetrySoup, 08/04/2014)

What playground does not hold the magic lure
of see-saws firmly braced upon their stands?
What child resists excitement, felt for sure
in ups and downs: the hard thump when he lands
and surging thrill of bouncing up again?
To know that when he's hit that lowest low,
it's followed by a swing to new heights when
he'll know once more the joy of that plateau?

In contrast of the see-saw truth is found,
for truly, were it stable, it would bore
the simplest mind; for only from the ground
does grandeur of the heavens make its score.

For only in imbalances we feel
the balance that keeps life on even keel.

In Response To My First Poem

Yin and Yang

Just as a see-saw's motion, up and down,
echos the yin and yang of heaven, earth;
these complement each other, turn around—
like dark of night becomes the new day's birth.

All seasons here on earth their balance keep,
along with oceans' rise and fall of tides.
The yin and yang, the ebbs and flows must sweep
throughout the universe—become our guides.

The ups and downs along with highs and lows
in our own lives—imbalances we feel—
are yin and yang which we cannot oppose—
that balance which keeps life on even keel.

But sometimes balances can be unfair
when dark of yin can linger, bring despair.
We pray see-saws can rest awhile—prepare
to longer bask in yang of life midair.

Premium Member Lord God, You Are My Guilt Cleanser

February 10 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Numbers 5-8

Key Verse– Numbers 5:6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty…

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GUILT CLEANSER

Lord God, You are my guilt Cleanser against trespasses
Thank You for checking my carnality’s imbalances
I repent from indulging in jealousy curses…
Please forgive me while You bring me near Your miracle-instances.

Lord God, You are my guilt Cleanser against bitterness
Thank You for confronting my bad thoughts, causing filthiness
I repent from breaking Your law due to my stubbornness…
Please forgive me while You free me from chains of haughtiness.

Lord God, You are my guilt Cleanser against evil communication
Thank You for correcting my lack of discipline and devotion
I repent from neglecting my vow of consecration…
Please forgive me while You guard me with Your protection.

Lord God, You are my guilt Cleanser against shallow commitment
Thank You for chastising my hypocrisy in sacrificial engagement
I repent from offering with wrong motive’s settlement…
Please forgive me while You accept me of my favorable ministry-involvement.

Lord God, You are my guilt Cleanser against being worldly
Thank You for calling my attention in my folly
I repent from minimizing value of testimony that’s godly…
Please forgive me while You teach me to come near You prayerfully.

Lord God, You are my guilt Cleanser against proud flight
Thank You for cutting my fleshly pursuits toward vanity’s height
I repent from seeking temporal delight along worthlessness-might…
Please forgive me while You purge me to do what’s biblically right.

Lord God, You are my guilt Cleanser against iniquity
Thank You for chastening my disobedience for me to follow with sincerity
I repent from doubting Your promises of loving authority…
Please forgive me while You assure me to trust You with faith’s certainty.

Takes the form of a human,
an animal lies beneath
for what are we anyway
escapologists from the trees
Maybe we’re special, intelligent,
if still a little dumb
outgrown that inbred purpose
to breed and thrive
Humans need satisfaction,
a journey, fantasies and thrills
Always just beneath a willingness to kill
Content, we are under control
happiness is to be free
adrenaline keeps us awake and alert
My god they’re all chemical signals,
highs and lows passion, depression,
just imbalances of the mind
The illusion we’re so much more
is insane, and true
It’s forbidden to overtake evolution
but we did yesteryear
exceeding the laws of nature,
left the animals behind
So what now,
we’ve outgrown natural selection
one small step was never our threshold
next the forbidden one giant leap
Perhaps we don’t see it coming,
inexorable and inevitable as it is
We’ll never stop, never be satiated
we only ever had one goal
to become god.

By David Kavanagh

The Lonely Weed

I verse the barren cemented sidewalk
listening to shoes and soles and souls
speak their tired tongues, tortuous
aloneness my name, garden free
solitude my drops of watering
I’m rooted tough against storms

I wave my arms as breezes bring
messages you will not hear
awaiting fertiliser I will not taste
nourishment from glances of the few
still my resilience will aid imbalances
as my core emits survival frequencies

ticks suck my fluid for always He sends
rays of light into my breasted stamen
cracked spaces my choice turf
rejection strengthening spinal stem
away from acclaim I listen clear to
unsung heroes, heroines tempestuous
in concrete fissures of new beginnings
