Dreaming Big

The dream I had last night was huge,
I mean that thing was large
Much bigger than a bread box
on an ocean going barge

To say it was humongous
wouldn't be far from the truth
It barely fit inside my head
and that should be some proof

It almost seemed gigantic,
the most massive I have seen
Of any evening vision or
an afternoon daydream

I'd even say enormous is
what in my mind I saw
Mammoth, vast or sizable,
you can pick one or all

My sleep last night was restless
after this colossal show
My only wish, I'd wake up soon
and this whole thing would go

But when I woke this morning
I just knew I couldn't win
For I would need another night
to fit the whole thing in

Premium Member Baking Soda

So many irksome dilemmas in life can be cured by simple solutions.
All are not necessarily fixed by the latest technological revolutions.
To remedy the many vicissitudes that rain down upon myself,
I grab that handy box of lowly baking soda reposing upon the shelf!

This simple, innocent looking stuff is good for many uses,
Including easing the pain of little kneesies that easily bruises.
'Tis useful for sweetening reeking walking shoes and garbage cans,
For shining silver and rejuvenating blackened pots and pans!

Even my inscrutable cat begins to purr a mile "purr" minute,
When I freshen his litter box by sprinkling baking soda in it.
If my auto picks up that scourge of the road, the dreaded tar,
Baking soda is just the thing for tidying up the car!

Why should I pay a plumber to unplug the clogged-up drain,
When a dollop of baking soda will the same results obtain?
It can be used as a toothpaste for making choppers look smarter,
Whitening them and controlling that nefarious tartar!

I've found that after my all too frequent sprees of gluttony,
That only a dose of baking soda relieves my gastric agony.
Its use for indigestion docs would discourage or even squelch.
Fiddle Faddle! I find instant relief in one humongous belch!

Romancing In the Coconut Tree

You continue to play the game and looking for someone to blame
You continue to play the game when everything around you is so lame
The days are sprinting by with a profound message from the anxious sky and frustration is circling around the fence, and the lion is running around in its den with blood twirling in its vicious eyes and aiming at the strangers as they walk by. You have moved the game from the street to penetrate my heartbeat; you have invaded my backyard privacy with grown men shouting from the bushes as I struggle to stay alive.

December has come and gone but you have left me standing alone on the dried up lawn, with empty guts and nothing substantial to fill my growling stomach. You said that January I should get ready but January has expired already and I am still here counting down the days when I will break through the iron gate. I cannot move left or right because of this endless sacrifice. I still cannot understand what you are trying to accomplish and how I should handle it. No one is talking to me and this sometime makes the days and nights completely unhappy. I don’t have a proper place to lay my head and if it wasn’t for my will power I’d be dead.

The peeping Toms are scattered throughout the town and they are watching me everywhere I turn. I thought that May would be the day, but nobody comes my way, you continue to revive the show when you know that destiny is getting ready to go. How much longer must I wait? The trees are still and the clouds are riding with the wind, yet there is no sign of when this pappy show will end.

I enjoy quiet moments in the early mornings but just before the break of day an intruder climb to the top of the slender coconut tree loaded with water coconut just to see what I was doing. And the Chinese business at the top of the hill with its humongous Satellites dish, big water tank and a little a tiny apparatus structure on top to see what is going on. They have taken up residence on top of the hill but the trees stand still listening. My eyes are getting weak and my body is running out of heat. Destiny is coming to a close and you must recuse yourself from the crown and end your age old romance with the coconut tree,

Ominous Foreboding Augurs

Ominous Foreboding Augurs...

Innocuously incubated kindled
imperceptible dire strait
restlessness like tinder
with pinterest Deutsche agitate
barreling like a freight
train running so much
faster than an eight
track uber twittering,

rumbling, quickening and inculcate
dissension among dissolute
rabble rousers, who
do obediently initiate
rank and file will not abate,
boot re:reed out (bus) soon,
thence coalesces into ablegate
insidious encroachments

no longer patiently await...
ideal conditions to hatch
schism within parched
soil perfect for hate
mongers of democracy
breeds anarchy to facilitate
chaos, which quickly spreads
like kudzu, or wildfire Arson

Welles immediately forcing leader
of free world to abnegate,
(heard to trumpet "FORGET
THE WALL" mate),
(despite being caught in his
pink frilly underwear), to late
for Mar a Lago escape, where
formerly great wealth did

pool lightly coagulate
elite class heard faint stir of echoes,
then earsplitting clangorous louder
than an ICBM din (er bell)
rent asunder forcing
freedom of "FAKE
MEDIA" to abdicate
all the while pointing beringed

index finger to accentuate
his Taj Mahal ululation
interspersed veni, vedi,
veci stopping for spate
to coif (died in the will)
hirsute and aerate
said wind swept hairdo
pausing every now and again to snap

selfie portraits, plus
instagram loved ones to alleviate
that pompous, outsize,
and humongous ego fast deflate
ting into a shriveled up POTUS
float hissing boilerplate

hot airy premature ejaculations,
he would not capitulate
(sooner be rocketed
to Pyongyang and cell bate
good times with Kim
Jong-un to emasculate!

I now absolve myself
that aforementioned jest,
a tongue in cheek diatribe belies
my means to predict any forecast,
yet if any resemblance

of chance events
materializes between
my pablum childishness at best
there could arise fruitful market
for kitsch sheen collectors items
high as Mount Everest!

Choice-Wise

Annette Arnold had recently left college
And was thrust into flimsy dating realms;
She grabbed pen and paper to describe
Top-choice dude of her fanciest dreams.

Dashingly handsome and of complexion nice,
And gallant gait akin to quaint legends' knight;
Sainted for inventive hare's monstrous brains,
Whose vast wit tales eternalize in folios white.

Certainly wielding humongous fiscal sway
At glance to dwarf mythology’s Midas' turn;
Brandishing glitzy wads as any moguls may,
Ever copiously donating all yet lacking none.

Life tenant within fame's flashiest abodes
Where prince and duke sure habitat have,
And king and princess choicest liquids sip;
Where queen and gods fine victuals serve.

Never must such his hallowed mistress
With betrayal's faithless mischiefs afflict,
Defiling indelible vows in his loyal troths,
He’ll steadily love whatever woes persist.

And so first to hit her with resistless lines
Was one William Watts imbiber of wines;
Neither that dashing handsome nor wise;
Faring far from afore-hinted pigment nice.

After wee-witted Williams’ charming vibes
Popped Ronald Riveter from politest tribes,
Known for most arresting manly physique;
Sorry stranger to Midas’ coin-clinking trick.

When Bernard Belmont's pics were seen
He looked plain and of disposition mean;
Unacquainted with idolized royalty’s fame,
Unadorned with duke's resplendent name.

And last Jason Jay did his mistresses vex
If records past might reveal lovers' specks;
His faint affections as whims rose and fell;
Sundering divinest troths as irate exes tell.

Searing decades of pen-and-paper wait
Nabbed no Knight of heaven-hewn trait;
And so did choice-wiser Annette Arnold
Award meek Martin Monks her aisle nod.

Purple People Eater Viz Hits Sleep Deprived Cannibal

Began during wee hours
of December first
tooth house sand nineteen
steeply self immersed

within insomnia, hence
sudden creative cloud burst
fingers slower than
fleeting thoughts, I cursed
nonetheless stitched,

doctored and nursed
the following continued
hours later with pursed
lips seriously, silently, and soundly

trying to craft lame poem, the worst
among feeble efforts,
among countless attempts
showcasing, (no rhyme nor reason)
yours truly versed.

Found muss elf unable to easily doze
haint no lamentable hallucination
found me froze
imagination begets, births and
breeds nightmare, whereby

humongous cannibal grows
name of Hannibal finally
an end to existential woes,
cuz every academic endeavor
yielded nothing but zeros.

Loathe blatantly outright
to turn toward life of crime,
yet I realize benefits
such as flextime
plus one functions
as independent consultant

off hours studying sign
language to pantomime
in the event victim
of unfortunate circumstances
deaf mute, or simply to
enhance gig being sublime.

Quite aware impossible
mission to succeed,
in the capacity writer,
hence quick income accrued
cash on demand guaranteed
apprenticeship provided with

on the job training indeed
course donned incognito
trumpeting, essentially greed
aware potential billionaires
minted he/she doth only need

venture capitalist to recognize
lucrative opportunity keyed
nsync with song that tops
the charts invariably lead
singer plus natural born
prodigy polymath, prolifically breed
ding all Forbes thirty under thirty

helping to buzzfeed
one after another cottage industry
flourishing analogous
to hardy ganja weed
allowing, enabling, and
providing ample time to read...
tea leaves predicting prodigious fortunes.

Let the brave of soul, go to Fearless Beach.

Humongous umbrellas at the ready...

Alzheimer's Domino Effect Chapter 4

We were on OKcupid…
I know, I might sound stupid…
But, I am not a waste of time…
I am cute and so sublime
Maybe a little too full of myself…
But, I am yours…
Clean up my act…
I love our kissing wars…
Right now, we have alzeihmers together, forever…
I love how you react…
You made a big impact
On my life…

No hard feelings…
One date and then, a break-up didn’t help my heart…
It broke me in pieces…
But, don’t rip me apart…awkward and torn apart…

Silence isn’t bliss
I’m speechless
My words are all over the place
You make me blush all over my face…

I love you
I love you
I love you…
But, now I like you
Because you love him.

If you break up with your elderly friend,
I will make your misery a humongous sack of garbage
For my sake, I love being drunk off of you till the end
But, you better not leave me hanging there like a cold, shitty fridge

Alzheimer’s Domino Effect has a way to turn me off
But, you have a sexy way of turning me on
The relationships I had is not my favorite…
But, our laughter I adore so badly…it’s extremely exquisite

Excitement Awaiting a Thunderstorm

Early morning April 8th, 2020
meteorologic destiny manifested...
rumbling atmospheric thuds,
promised natural exultant
sound and light show
subsequently within minutes
dully rightly appraised as dud,

yours truly forced himself awake
way before dawn's early light
all for naught, yet...
thus hours later summoned,
perhaps lame poetic material
(think) potential Earth shaking
literary cause not lost

expressing disappointment
'pon absent dramatic booming anticipation,
electrifying fascination, injecting glorification
atavistic beastie boy within me
awed, charged, fascinated, jarred,
witnessing (i.e. seeing and hearing)
humbling experience beholding

dynamic latent forces unleashed
intense earsplitting, blinding
spectacular singular sensational
magnificent natural phenomena
far surpassing, née dwarfing
extravagant pyrotechnics wrought
courtesy innovative *****sapiens.

Time and again
without fail - exuberant delight
always gushes forth,
no fanfare for
totally tubular common man,
whose feeble insignificant powers
laughable and lamentable

puny human specimen
easily flicked (think
humongous sized fingers
particularly middle digit)
sending me airborn
pirouetting head over heels
at mercy of Mother Nature's whims

among brethren and sistren
constituting fray'n chipped
foo fighting ship of
motley crew zing fools
metaphorical human league
bajillion *****sapiens
even if/when global

standing military combined
be they: armies, marines,
navies... fighting force
nope, still no match
against tectonic and volcanic
potential and/or kinetic energy.

Premium Member Pleasant Pharms

Come on down to Pleasant Pharms:
Apothecary quaint with charm.
Motto here is 'Do no harm'
Sometimes we sort of miss…

Grab some psychedelic fungus,
Mushroom that are quite humongous
On the trails right here among us,
And colors when you piss!

Don’t need any antidote, see
Mescaline’s here, and peyote.
Howl the moon like a coyote,
Then go chew off your arm.

Drop some acid; be discrete.
We’ll hide ‘em in a blotter sheet.
Perforated little squares, neat!
They say no long-term harm...

Come on down, don't be a stranger!
There’s no clear and present danger,
Just neural pathway re-arrangers
Down here at Pleasant Pharms.
