It shall rain from Jerusalem to Jericho.

With His goodness of mercy’s companion
That keeps us in His presence-reunion
Where His watchfulness covers our doubt-filled opinion.
God hearkens to our voice of faith in our vision-beholding
With His light by His Scripture’s upholding
That ushers us through His Spirit’s leading
Where His guidance directs us toward right doctrinal standing.
God hearkens to our voice of faith in our sin-confession
With His forgiveness along His compassion
That sanctifies us around His pardon’s provision
Where His holiness secures us against oppression of transgression.

T'was eighty two wonderful years,
Before you departed to leave me in tears,
My loneliness hearkens to the fears left by the hearse,
Even the harmattan couldn't dry my streams of tears,
Because I know now you are no more near.
You left through the corridors of November,
Twenty eight is a number I will forever remember,
It can't even be withered by any winter,
As long as the sun shines and the stars twinkle,
I will remember you even after my cheeks wrinkle.
I came out first under your big umbrella,
You rhymed my name and I became a Cinderella,
You left me on a path illuminated in high candela,
You decorated my life with beautiful chandeliers,
You poured wisdom full into my many tumblers.
Before God made all the angels your trumpeters.
Now with God your soul now forever stays,
Your demise messaged more things than you could say,
To your honour I shall live my days,
May God almighty continue to guide my ways,
Rest on dad, till we shall meet at the heavenly quays.

IMPACT
Perhaps the weather is wistful or bonnie bonnie good,
who can say, but i think on the grayest of gray days,
eyes stay closed, sunshine is but a bitter dream,
unless you’re the rare goody-goody Pollyanna-type,
before the huge branch plummeted her to certain sorrow.
A little girl with saintly hair hearkens to a friend’s dare.
Her toes tremble as she feels the safety of a robin’s branch.
Alas, this little one never learned to fly,
but fly she must and hit solid ground.
Why must sorrow’s impact finally save a soul?
Why couldn’t love come much quicker?
Aunt Polly’s neighborhood had already hugged the saintly face
and only they could bring her back to life
for each one held a piece of her.
And Aunt Polly, poor bitter Polly, must be a late bloomer.
But after all, the Good Shepherd does leave the ninety-nine,
to find such a one.
~ ~ ~ What do you think? If a man owns 100 sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the 99 on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep then about the 99 that did not wander off. In the same way your father in heaven is not willing that any of these little one should be lost.

Goodness we can possess
Generosity we ought to practice
Governance we have to pursue
Joshua 10:14 Praise be to the Lord Who
hearkens unto our voice of:
Desperation, and He delivers us from afflictions
Distress, as He defeats our anxieties
Desolation while He directs us by His assurance
Dependence, for He defends us against adversaries
Devotion, then He discomfits our arrogance
Deuteronomy 11:15 Praise be to the Saviour for
helping us to leave nothing undone in our work despite:
Failure as He changes us with His might
Frustration as He cares for us by His mercy
