For All the Souper Friends Called Friends...

To,
all my dear friends here ,who ever found time to write and dedicate a poem
for me,and to those friends who were always here for me too..There are many
of these good friends,so i'm including you all! These are simple verses, but
Honest and true,This one is for You...

What a treasure to find a friend,
whose always there to give you a hand,
What a treasure to find a friend,
a friend whose honest and true,
who cares and think of you,
Often or Once in a while,
Who offers his love, or her smile.
What a treasure to find a friend,
a steady strong rock, where one can stand.
What a treasure to find a friend,
whose there to listen and understand,
who hears your pain, your cry, your fear,
who lends his shoulder and share your tear.
What a treasure to find a friend,
a rich pearl in shell, who wish you well,
What a treasure to find a friend,
a jewel so rare,a diamond so dear.
What a treasure to find a friend,
a friend from beginning to end.

You are this kind of friend, each one of you,so dear, my friends, and wherever
i shall be in life,I shall hold a special place for you in my heart,in my prayers
and in my thoughts,I shall never forget you!
A special friend of mine, once said to me,'A friend is forever'.. and You are
all, Forever..Thankyou my dear friends,Never let your ink dry and publish many
books......I love you --ox -Charma

You were one of the first of a very few
to welcome me here when I first joined Poetry Soup
and although I haven't really kept in touch
you're not alone, I rarely stay in touch with anyone much.
It has no reflection on you or on any of them.
I could never have asked for a more supportive and giving friend
than you, my dear friend Carolyn.
All I can say is that if I've ever offended you in any way, I do have an explanation.
It's the price you pay when you befriend someone who is prone to self alienation,
so I would hope that you not take my absence personally.
You're A Great Friend And You'll Always Mean Ever So Very Much To Me.

Best Friend Turned Stranger

Through so much we have been,
my best friend turned stranger.
I'm reminiscent of my life back then,
thoughts of you permanently linger.
An R&B singer,
my heart-beat plays your acoustics.
My best friend turned stranger,
I cannot keep on doing this..
I miss our conversations,
relations,
that stimulate my creations.
My best friend turned stranger,
distance cannot destroy our
life time foundation..

**Dedicated to my Best friend Lauren Prater..
A woman who has touched me like no other
woman has ever.... Smart, ambitious, and faithful...
Traits that place her near perfection..
My best friend who will NEVER be a stranger..**

When as a wee gal so small
there was a friend and we play dolls
She was a little Christian girl
who opened her heart to a heathen’s world.

Christmas had come and she got cash
into her piggy she did stash
for one day in summer we’d shop
for troll dollies with carrot tops!

Not quite enough pennies or dimes
were in my purse my doll to find
so she used all the cents in hers
to get twin dollies with skirts!

Home that day, she was put to bed
Dad was mad at the money spent.
To her room went she, no tear cried
my best friend with the soft blue eyes.

Please Don'T Judge This Friend of Mine

some people are so convincing
some people are easily fooled
but I know my friend was not mean or cruel
always supporting their family
prepared to go the extra mile
just to see their beaming smile
someone has crossed the line
so please don't judge this friend of mine
if you seek you will find
they only ever tried to be loving and kind
someone has crossed the line
so please don't judge this friend of mine.

wrote for my sons God father who was wrongly accused of being cruel
some people cross the line and blame people for things they just did not do.
the good news is Justice came round because with Gods' help his younger two children now
live with him.

Premium Member Helen My Best Friend

Helen is hysterical, so witty you laugh until you cry,
She’s a little spit-fire, 4 foot 11 -- a bit of a short fry,
Now I can say that because she knows it’s said in jest,
There is no finer person, as a friend she is truly my best.

We met while nursing where we had so much fun,
Managing to laugh at work yet still get the job done.
While we have switched jobs and moved to a different place,
We are only as far away as it takes to pack our suitcase.

At my Mom and Dad’s funeral I was lost and very sad,
She sat by my side, filling in as family that I no longer had.
Always there in my life for the very best and worst of times,
If I need her, she gets to me, over obstacles she climbs,

Following major surgery she came to nurse me to health,
Her kindness, compassion and care, is her greatest wealth
She babysat my children and made my favourite meal,
Kraft dinner and homemade applesauce, oh what a deal.

She said I needed a pick me up, so she bought hair dye,
Slowly applying the hair colour, careful not to get in my eye.
When my hair went purple and ended up a flashy, brillant red,
She said you don’t need a mirror, just know you don’t look dead.

Our husbands understand our bond, having been through so much,
We never miss a birthday, Christmas or any reason to stay in touch,
I sometimes feel guilty as it seems she is always there to help me,
She’ll say “Oh don’t be so silly, it’s just because I love you Lee”

I never feel so good as I do when I am with my friend Helen,
Together we’ve nursed patients and even the occasional felon,
We met on my first nursing job and she became my best friend,
Some forty years later, our longtime friendship still has no end.

It's Playing Every Place

Brown eyed girl "seems to be playing every place

Always takes me back to that soft beautiful face

The eyes that simply make your heart melt

A smile that shows just how wonderful she felt

On this woman I'd surely bet

She'd be the best a man could get

Only knowing her from the TV screen

To many that might not mean a thing

Yet she's a guest and friend sitting next to me

In her words there is so much to see

She can be silly or very bright

That depends on how she feels that night

She welcomes many with open arms

No need for her to ever put on the charm

Second nature to her it just seems to be

Her giggles send a smooth easy feeling right through me

And of course let's not forget the bar

Where the goodie box and all of her friends are

I guess what I am trying to say

Is you've made a friend til my very last day

If you ever want to chat or talk for a spell

I am here or you could call me as well

So won't you please smile big tonight

You have friends and everything will be alright!

Obito's Immortal( Naruto Lovers)

Obito’s immortal

You wished you had more time with everyone
But life has taken that away
You protected your friend, defended him
Stood below a falling rock
Your right side got crushed, you hardly feel it

Never gave your friend a gift for becoming a jounin
But on the minutes of death, you thought of something
Something that is not a useless luggage

You gave him your Sharingan!
A gift that you had not life to use twice
A gift that showed your loyalty

After you have hated your friend, after all the words he said
You became friends, he rescued you from all the bad guys
And you offered and gave in return your life, your Sharingan!

I can never believe the love
I can never imagine the friendship
I will always hate the fate

You have died; your friend has lived…
What rule does this follow?
The rule of God, the will of his that will stay…
