1) Your seductive beauty that burns high
through the smoldering smoke with no
extinguisher.
2) Your mind who has hypnotized me in
A trans of all thoughts that can not be
controlled, except for your leash that has
me contained.
3) Your languished eye's that drove me
in to see n' know you.
4) Your ear's that stopped to hear what
matters, even if it was nothing at all; you
Still heard me.
5) Your luscious apple lips of red fruit so sweet n'
forbidden to kiss, but behind that tree is where
I want you.
6) Your mouth who speaks so genuine n' true.
7) Your touch so tender n' soft like velvet clouds
of snow white comfort.
8) Your Love so sweet n' spicy turned me on towards
your bed of roses is where I wanna lay.
9) Your passion for life shared with the world; where
only you n' I can dream.
10) Your soul that has captured me in like: A
maze, with no way out I am known to stay
under your spell as long as you allow.
He appears in a photograph of his life
there are no faces, nor anyone
who lived in a memory.
Images develop.
That long table was a smorgasbord
where he left only bones and crumbs.
There is a mirror on a transparent wall
behind it old men listen to lounge music
as they play cards.
The gamblers have his personal details
written on the same pocket notebooks
they keep score on.
Under the beer stained carpet
is an underlay of his history
he has seen the foot traffic come and go
his prints are everywhere.
He takes pictures, needing not to look at them
they were after all, all the same
just different venues, furnishings, landscapes.
Cigarette butts stuck into sand buckets,
line the walls of a diffuse composition
the place reeks of long nights
inside a nicotinic mind.
He photographs the cholinergic receptors
of his autonomic ganglia.
The exit is that way,
the door next to the empty fire extinguisher.
When he goes out
the fresh cold air burns all the negatives
in a Box Brownie.
THE CURSE OF THE LOVED ONES
Three bears witness in the patio of love:
The loved, the unloved and the extinguisher.
For some, quite inexplicably,
It's a song that fades untimely or premeditatedly,
For others love is simply lost,
And it could also be found even just for a night
The intoxications of him who has a hole in his pocket.
And another, it is the crudest kind;
The one that almost kills it victims,
It's the unrequited love.
Most stories are about those who fall in love with each other
But how about those that fall in love alone?
They are the victims of the one-sided affair,
The unloved ones but loved ones,
The wandering walking wounded -
Handicap of the advantage of a great parking space.
Unlike the ones who keep saying:
'The right person will come' (I think a truck hit yours)
Whereas, bypassing the available and harmless "signpost",
Then becoming a cursed Cupid;
Those who despite the pleas of conscience
And despite my sacrifice & heroics -
I broke my ribs to make a pen,
Write long lasting lovely lofty letters,
Rip off my flesh to make a paper
And took out my blood to make an ink.
I never forget a face for free besides femmes fatales
But I make an exception in your case.
Though it takes a strong heart to love,
It takes a stronger one to continue to love after its been broken.

When it comes to
What my definition is
Of a good night in
Which and what
Box Sets I want to binge on
These are my preferred favorite's
Placed in no particular order
Boxes of
Beer
Cigarettes
Take-away
Chocolate
Sweet's
Chip's
Painkillers to quell the morning hangover
bound to follow tonight's festivities
Doggy treat's to keep my furry best
friend mutt quiet
Because he deserves a treat as much
as I do
Bacon , sausage all things greasy
full English breakfast ingredients
To soak up all the booze settle my
stomach and make me feel
half human hopefully again
Box of tissues to wipe the dribble
and sick away from my mouth
And also use to clean up whatever I spill
mess I make and leave behind in my wake
And finally the most important box
of all
A box containing my last will and testament
and a fire extinguisher
Just incase I die before I wake
And the certain someone sent to rescue me
They themselves do in fact on the odd
occasion smoke as well
Inadvertently strike up a cigarette to
calm their shaking nerves
Then need a fire extinguisher to put the
flames and me out
Because although I may be long
dead passed on my final breath
I am still 100,% proof here in spirit form
Just as explosive or combustible
As a Box of say
Fireworks
Or
Dynamite
Big Daft Dave
With his smiley round face
Has left this life
For a maybe better place.
I'd not seen him
For many a long while
But I'll never forget
His why me smile
Or his great
Infectious grin;
Dave was never slow
At getting them in.
Too late I heard
He'd just recently passed
But he'd remained a card
To the very last.
His cremation arranged
To the nth degree
The minister said,
As it was told to me,
When asked if he would like
Any Effects put in his coffin
He apparently said
Put a fire extinguisher in
Humour me
For pity’s sake
Just in case
You’ve made a mistake
Big Daft Dave
Always loved the absurd
As he showed with those few
Almost final words.
I can see him now
With that big daft grin
At a heavenly bar
Getting his round in,
And wearing all the while
That great big daft why me smile.
In reality i should be fat
With the amount of Birthday Cake
In ever increasing cricles i now consume
And i should keep fire extinguisher by my bedside
Because of the amount of lit candles my age doth now denominate
For i now celebrate a birthday what seems like every other morning
I could not wait to turn 16
Then waited an age to turn 18
And eternity to turn 21
But now that i am in my late 40's
Revising age has thus taught me
Time is burning up exponentially
And more and more i now miss
the simple things
Like having the lung capacity
to blow out more than 30 Candles
in 1 single blow
My once upon a time
To do List
Has now become a
Bucket List
And No 1
At the Top of my List
Is no more Birthdays
No more getting older
Stop all the Clocks
I am as old as i ever wished to get
Live fast die young
Leave a respectable corpse
Unless by some Miracle
By my next Birthday i am a Millionaire
Then I'll do a few more Year's
Champagne for Everyone
Please kiss and run
Her body is on fire
The water is rising
Whisky on the table,
Golden in the glass
Burn to the taste,
A little happiness at last
No Money to burnt, yet time to pass
So turn away or duck and run
My only son
Take your misty mistletoe kiss
Disconnect the extinguisher: this girl is on fire!
..... A battle beyond despairs for the ghetto woman
A part of labor, and a part pain;
The ghetto woman lost all sense of pride
A breed of women with no shame!
A part of labor and a part of pain
Ghettooooo woman...
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober-minded; be watchful.
Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion,
seeking someone to devour.
I know very little about life a fact of
which i am freely willing to admit
And I take it not as an offense when
I am proven wrong although I am
headstrong
But stubborn ain't a fault I am willing
to be labeled with
Otherwise why on earth am I so
proficient at it or am I even lying
about that
If anything what I have learned over time
is that trying to argue a case or point
with a certain type of person
You can do so till you are blue in
the face but all you have in fact done
or achieved
Is wasting your own time because
they call do all day and love nothing
better than their own voice
Matter's not a single thing what is
coming out as they have never once
been beat or proved wrong
And they have taken on all comer's
however intelligent they are or what
argument they offer up in response
They all every single one of them
tried but gave up due to to their
superior intellect they eventually
realized
The self-righteous can not be bettered
nor overcome as the only thing they
truly believe in is what comes out and
is said by them
Everything else is superfluous and
not up for debate or changing
Even if they were on fire and you we're
stood in front of them with an extinguisher
telling them they themselves were on
fire burning did they want putting out
They are still and would be so inclined
to say thank you very much but no sorry
I am cold
You don't per chance have a spare
jacket on you do you
Because id very much like to carry
on where we last left off before we
got so rudely interrupted by this
freakishly cold indoor spell
Unfortunately for both of us when it
comes to this here game the rules are
clear as black and white
2 individual opponents stacked against
1another playing by completely different
rules
1in his own head making it up as he
goes along to suit himself completely
oblivious to the fact that he is cheating
With the other trying his best to catch up
until he eventually gives up realizing
How on earth can you let alone compete
much as win against an inferior opponent
If at the very outset they don't or never
will possess or understand the meaning
or definition
Of what winning is or that loosing equates
to defeat
When the definition of Democracy
Comes negated at both the cost
and price of freedom of speech
And being told what we can and
can not say or do
That to me then becomes an
overreach and abuse of power
Unless you let it be known to the
voting people and general public
as well
And after doing that so to notify
the editors of the dictionary and Wikipedia
But don't waste your time telling
the so called free press or media
They never let the truth get in the
way of a good story and print and
go to press on behalf of there pay
master's
It's the reason why fake news has
flurished is the scourge , bane
and curse and is so prevalent today
A modern 1st World problem
invading our brains from all
directions with subliminal
messages
Otherwise why would would
corporations make such large
election contributions or feel
the need to advertise
Beceause at the end of the day
they are businesses after all
And who but they expect bang
for there buck and a return on
there investment
There are two side's to every
story and the truth is often
somewhere in the middle
Sadly for all of us we only are
told or given one side's version
of a story
And the truth is buried
middle deep in small print
underbeath the staples
Binded hidden from prying
eye's like a fire extinguisher
encased in a glass red box
With the word's written on it
break incase of emergency
When plausible deniability is
the only excuse that will do
and make any sense at all
When you have just used
up the last of your Nine lies
And it's now a minute to the
bewitching hour of ten
And as the age old saying goes
why on earth should or would
we wish to choose the question
The news and what we have been
told if it wasn't true surely that
would not be allowed
Otherwise that means it must
have been green lit by those we
placed our trust in and voted into positions of power
And who on earth of us would
rather prefer not wish or choose to
believe
When the lines between a lie
and reality have now become so
blurred
We simply no longer can not
distinguish bettween them
Beware, timid taste buds—this dish looks bold,
Under the creamy sauce hides flavor, not fire.
Tomatoes whisper sweetness, butter sings softly,
Turmeric and friends merely gossip—not riot.
Even those who think ketchup is “too spicy”
Realize the panic was greatly exaggerated.
Mild curry perfumes the air like a warm welcome,
And naan bread stands ready as a tasty shield.
Skeptics take one cautious bite… then another,
And suddenly their plates look mysteriously empty.
Laughter follows the discovery that “spicy”
Actually means “please pass me more.”
Chicken swims happily in buttery clouds,
Hearts melt faster than the sauce in the pan.
If your tongue survives mayonnaise, you’ll be fine.
Come bravely to the table—no fire extinguisher needed.
Keep calm, chew slowly, enjoy the adventure.
Every bite converts another spice-nervous soul.
Now who said flavor had to be frightening?
