the sun rose
blooming bright
inviting me
to breakfast
i excepted
expecting
to eat eggs
sunny side up
but she reheated
last nights
rice and
beans
warmed
by her smile
and cups of
hot chocolate
all the while not
noticing the dial
that keeps
time
she stayed
as brunch became
lunch then later
asking to stay
for dinner
she never stayed
so late so
what to want
the restaurant's
menu was all new
knowing nothing
what the moon ate
so on a date
with the sun
across the table
seemed not right
but we now knew
night is day
it rather became her
she placed her order

some who thought one way
only to have been faced with something

yet with opportunity we are faced with

Like joy, sadness, anger, contempt, disgust, surprise,
Fear is nature's gift to creatures, to make them wise;
Threats, true or imagined, like rifles, trigger fear,
In physical and psychic realms, it does appear…
Just as darkness causes fear, height, flight, snakes, lizards...
Death is the zenith of fear than other hazards;
Success, failure, loss, judgment, identity, time,
Known, unknown, present, future... fear is time-rhyme-chime!
Like a poison-edged switchblade, it pierces the heart,
Dagger refrains, poison remains as body-part;
Fear like love, affection, darkness, death engulfs us,
Like solar-lunar-eclipses, it swallows us.
Flowers have nectar, fragrance, yes, even venom,
venomous flowers produce medicines ransom,
Fears in us, like organs, should be known, accepted,
When noxious, like the appendix, get excepted...
The present is a present; God-given present,
I should be present to the fear with full consent;
Speaking to the fear: why are you here? What's your name?
Enthroning in my body and mind - What's your aim?
Fear occupies when our sanguine heart is empty,
Fill thoughts, words, deeds with positivity plenty;
Enjoy the sun, moon, stars, birds, flowers, animals,
Feel! Freely listen to them, and tell them fables...
Sleeping lotus bud of self should shed sleep and bloom,
Cutting the coffin of gloom sun of hope should zoom;
The shadows of the inner falsehood should find light,
Peace, like white pigeons, should in hidden realms take flight.

Leaders use threats, violence and retaliation
today; When things they want are not going
their way. Forget we are one nation under God
for the real world doesn't want us to unite
here or abroad.
Speak from the heart I was told and never let
anyone tell you, you are to bold. If not a nation who
is strong in bond; Then what is there to be said
when our freedoms and future is gone.

When you enjoy the date it makes you happy and smile
You haven't felt a live like this in a while
Happiness got behind you

A relationship that we should be committed
To living right and doing right

O Master, I laid all my burdens before you
I set all my pains, joys, and dreams at your feet
Surrendered them all for the chance to adore you
That we might be joined in communion so sweet
I gave you my life, which you gladly accepted
Desiring all my devotion and praise
You claimed me—no part of myself was excepted
That Your perfect plan might ordain all my days
I yielded myself to a life of abandon
To follow my Shepherd wherever You lead
You captured my heart by your grace and affection
I truly believe You are all that I need
But now, in my hour of trial, I falter
I see I am weak, and am losing control
I cry as my gift is consumed on Your altar
Becoming short-sighted, forget I the goal
Did I not yield freely my life to your lordship?
Did I not desire Your altar’s pure flame?
I chose to surrender, no matter the hardship
And yes, my intentions today are the same
I gave my gift freely; my life is to serve You
You rule o’er my heart and my life still today
Yes, there at Your throne I gave everything to You
I shall not take back that which I gave away
