my Spanish is very bad

but i'm 
trying to
understand
in these days
of trans i don't 
want to mistakenly

write a
wrong and
be translated
especially since
i don't believe in any
political view to be said

Why can't the world be like it was when I was young
    No one cleaning up dog-due dung

  Kids dying right and left of polio and measles
    Mumps running rampant like scorpions and beetles

  Fathers employing razor belts
    on recalcitrant sons and leaving welts
 
  Mothers teaching daughters to clean and cook
    poor-mouthing math and science textbooks  

  White folks lording it over illiterate Knee grows
    Butchering Espanol -- and a few unlucky amigos

  It was all so much simpler way back then
    Cowboys shot Indians on the count of ten  

  So, why can't the world be like it was when I was young
    Well, hey, I guess it is ~ English still ain't America's mother tongue...

Even though none of the pitchers hablan espanol,
you have to keep the game under control.
Curve, slider, sinker, you’re the one to make the call.
Most of the time, you want a good old fastball.
It takes a strong and smart catcher without a doubt.
You work to get each and every opposing batter out.
This is the one hundred and sixty-two game world that’s real.
Sometimes, that runner on first may be tempted to steal.
There he goes on his way to second base.
You throw a laser over there without haste.
The runner is out as the tag is made.
These are some of the things you do to get paid.
If you keep on doing your job, you are here to stay.
Hopefully, your team will win the game today.
