Let me in my odd orbit drift - 2

A fresh breeze that loves to drape all around,
And give hearty embrace to every heart,
A bird forever of drifting orbit,
Ready, lifelong and more to meander.

I drift, to drift is my inane nature,
To me, an inch of movement how so vague
Is better than a mile of intention,
World, called jagat is what moves forever.

We all within a vast sphere, set on sail,
Drift in an ocean of uncertainty,
By no means can one call me exception,
I drift unperturbed, letting things happen.

Time itself seems adrift in this vast space,
And human mind, shifting sands of desert,
Here today and tomorrow all be gone,
Nature laughs at the motionless stagnant.

And who knows where one drifts in universe?
We only know of our diurnal orbit
And that of our journey around the sun,
Who knows what precisely sun’s orbit is?

Who, how it whirls around in Milky Way?
Where and how our galaxy moves in space,
And many a movement we know the least,
To drift seems all life’s utter destiny!

And drifting devoid of aim’s no failure,
But serendipitous discovery,
Not just for me, for all manner of born,
So, never once give me that dubious look.

And triumphant, let me drift with a smile,
Like a wisp of mist on a windless day,
Give me a boat and an uncharted sea,
And freedom of soul to drift as I wish.

Naught compares getting lost and get a lift,
And I value this Nature’s priceless gift!

Fragments

Night to the wake of a Dawn
Hardly can it’s birth be forgotten
Driven by the Deep of the Dawn
Bewildered in past present so rotten

Wondered in dark-deep abyss
Oblivious in the trodden lines
Yet broken the mind-ark in reminisce
It diurnal rings in bounding lines

Hope twined with disconcert
Fazed with life’s playoff
Yet Love plays in the Concert
In worthy streams to cool off

Uncharted remain thy remains
For to Mother Earth thou were betrothed
Their hearts never forgets thy remains
Though grieving hearts left thou dead

In thy Uncharted bled my heart
For succor he misses
Thy demise still rumples my cart
For thy succor and subsidy he misses

Premium Member Stretching Health Care

My oldest friend,
and older, too,
has a daily yoga practice
of self-care,
which I would healthier emulate.

But, when I mentioned this
as rich in comparison
with my own brief leg stretches
while tube-feeding my son,
and occasional too brief dancing
and jumping
with my cerebral palsied daughter,

He responds
to my neglect of self care
with self-deprecating acclaim
for my daily investment
in young adult bodies
inhabiting wounded child concerns.

I recognize this response
in literature of sacred messiahs
and family health care martyrs
and extended family matriarchs
and secular ecofeminist mentors
of selflessness,
ego annihilation,
empty nesters,
nonself-investors.

While all such roleplays,
diurnal through eternal,
are counter-cultural,
with redemptive value
and stretching of compassion,

I question their/our capacity for resilience
as even the most cooperative
win/win co-invested economist
would question total eco-investment
through absolute ego-divestment,
outgoing care for health
while bleeding out all internal wealth
of energy
power
light.

Yoga stretches internal minds
to resonantly balance
external bodies
fully re-creating
co-acclimating
resonant resilience.

This stretching,
toning
touching
feeling
balancing
centering
communicating
cooperative empowering
compassionate enlightening
I could do with my son
and my daughter
daily,
and perhaps timelessly,
with sufficient commitment
and imagination,
creativity
and regenerative health
intent to optimize
our shared systemic wealth

Stretching from where we are
toward when we will become
together in shared passion.

Premium Member The Maple Tree

Cruel life that goes in diurnal circles,
Never a rest from the inexorable
Events that are flung onto our souls,
No one is ready to defy the unacceptable.

Still we bear the jabs, the tests, the surgery
Hoping to live a better and easy life,
Till better days arrive and we will sweat
As summer heats scorch and wish an end to strife.

A year I spent bedridden full of pain
And saw the sturdy maple tree change
Spring brings out its leaves, summer its fruit,
As seeds disperse in quite a long range
New saplings grow but the tree begins its death
Leaves take new color, an exquisite exchange,
But in the end death is inevitable as it is to all.
So I stay in my bed till time takes its toll.

Activation, Anodyne

Activate, O anodyne.
Free me from the past.
Thought she was a friend of mine?
Hempen rope, thy mast.

Welling up inside you, thus:
Hell, thy fires surround.
Heaven, how I hate! Minus:
All above the ground!

Pain, you spring eternal.
Contentment, you're a drug.
Commands of the kernel?
Diurnal life, zwangzug.

If you dwell in daylight:
The sight of you will tempt.
Fate, thy bite! Fine fight or flight!
Poison, just pre-empt!

Predator, thy fairest face!
Golden is such grace!
O coyote, choose the chase!
Decency displace!

Wind, thy salmon-running ways!
Mate within the maze?
How indeed, sirs, nerves a-frays!
Priceless how it pays!

Space, open a portal.
I wish away to fly.
Demons of the void, stay full?
Anyhow, we try.

Singularities, deep freeze?
Well, we're off our knees.
All day long we're scratching fleas?
Saying please? At ease...

Universe

This is a poem of a little bit of insight.
You can call it a step or a guide to follow your own light.
Nocturnal vs Diurnal are opposites in facts.
But do you know which one you need to enact?
Humans can represent both that much is true.
But do you know how to follow the universe for the right clues?
The sun warms our seas & provides life-giving light.
Help providing food and trees, that illuminate and make the days so bright.
The moon is seen at its brightest at night.
And has created pathways for humans for thousands of years with certain starlight.
Though both are opposites, they are one in the same.
For one without the other and our world would never be the same.
Moral of the story is humans come from the same life of stream.
But as we age and grow older, we are meant to be guided by our own light & dream.
Though our dreams are not identical.
And our paths may be a little skeptical.
If followed all the way, it will leave our hearts feeling plentiful.
And our minds being fulfilled & poetical.
So if someone is trying to deteroriate you on your path.
Just remember this poem and remember to do the math.
For we share different dreams but our hearts beat as one.
Like the moon and the sun, when life on this planet was created & just begun.

Premium Member Where Will We Find Him

We wait for his coming and ask:
                                  When will he come?
                                   How will he come?
                               Where will we find him?
And how will we know him?

Will we find him being celebrated with a marching brass band or a marquis with flashing lights; where paparazzi clamor for a photo op? Or waving from a decorated float, in a parade, while sanctimonious dignitaries honor him, with speeches of praise.

Will we find him in the breaking of day, in the slowly rising sun, gently pausing in the cradle of the horizon, before ascending on its diurnal journey?

Will we find him in the light, in the womb of undeniable innocence, where lays the seed of creation?

Will we find him in the teeming market place, or in the haunting faces of the homeless?

Will we find him on mossy rolling hillsides, giving way to sprawling fields of wheat and grain, surrendering to lakes and rivers, manifesting the force of the sea?

Will we find him in the resplendent forests and majestic snow covered mountains, monuments to the power of the deity of life?

Will we find him in a raging hail storm, pelting the fire below, ignited by the decadence of humanity?

Will we find him when we open our doors of kindness, to those in need, extending a helping hand?

Will we find him in the kaleidoscopic celestial stars, juxtaposed to the waxing and waning moon, under the crown of night?

As Christians we believe he will come again. As we wait, we reflect, repent, and renew our faith, with the hope of salvation.

Missing You My Lover

Morning thaws into feverous noon, dusk fluxes and night dimly fades away,
Into a lonesome diurnal, nocturnal rhythm all woozy and gray.
Softly and silently you begot my heart’s love hope when there was none,
Securely you glided into my laxly life when destiny had me indolently undone.
Into my life you filled love when my fate on a platter offered me bliss trifling,
Niftly you surreptitiously left my antedated heart airless and stifling,
Gusts of malevolence vent out with arcane sprite, oh! these esoteric rifling.

Your comely face now seems to me an abhorrative visage,
Our bonds of love bleed venom from the punctured heart, painful seepage.
Urns of sorrow, my eyes grieve tormented, wailing tears toil to turn a new page.

Moan for you ever, my throbbing heart and forlorn soul,
Youth of my life spent with blood shot eyes akin burning charcoal.

Lost in fond love without you beside me, now and hear,
Over and over again teeming with your thoughts I shed many a tear.
Volcanic emotions erupt, as evoke memories of making scalding love,
Ecstatic desires drive me insane, but I live on like a lonesome mourning dove,
Reminisce your fond caress….very much…..my love ………..I miss you………….

Another Dawn

ANOTHER DAWN

The morning winces as a new day begins
Mired in the half slumber of a restless night
And reluctant to engage whilst half awake
Like a trembling foot hovering over the brake
Good humoured dawn greetings sound trite
And the fading moon just knowingly grins

Dawn comes around so quickly these days
No chance or time to complete a dream
What a critical daily role to have acquired
As the demand is that all shall be inspired
When night’s blanket is loose at the seam
But it’s the diurnal clock that one obeys

There’s no respite with this job for eternity
Day after day, just subtle seasonal changes
None can detect my initial blurred vision
My tired eyes can see no changed decision
The world still turns, and gravity engages
My half sister moon, no shared paternity
