Premium Member Ashtavakra Gita Verses 15:8 To 15:17

15.8
“Have faith, my son, have faith
You are Awareness alone
the Self, the One
You are the Lord of Nature”

15.9
“The body is made of worldly stuff
It comes, it lingers, it goes
The Self neither comes nor goes, yet remains
Why mourn the body?”

15.10
“If the body lasts until the end of time
or perishes today—
is there gain or loss for you?
You who are Awareness?”

15.11
“Let the waves of the universe rise and fall as they will
You have nothing to gain or lose
You are the ocean”

15.12
“You are the substance of Consciousness
The world is You
Who is it that thinks
he can accept or reject it?
And where does he stand?”

15.15
“Leave behind such distinctions
as “I am He, the Self,”
and “I am not this.”
Consider everything Self
Be desireless
Be happy”

15.16
“Your ignorance alone creates the universe
In reality One alone exists
There is no person or god other than You”

15.17
“One who knows for certain
that the universe is illusion,
a no-thing,
becomes desireless,
pure Awareness,
and finds peace in the existence of nothing”

The zone of deep silence
Beyond mind
Presence in self existence
Formless space aligned

Verses revisited on 02-December-2021

Let’s begin then, by exiting self-hypnosis
Enslavement to lower mind
Melding mind, soul, spirit, Perichoresis
Exiting narrow thoughts that bind

Our innate aliveness, where is it located
Is it in the head or the heart
Desire enmeshed thought, has us agitated
Until we add love to cart

Head and heart meld, in a stillness continuum
Devoid of thought, fears and desires recede
There remains in mind-body, no ego residuum
Layer by layer, erst habit patterns we weed

There is no thought, yet our awareness remains
Poised in the void in childlike wonderment
Soul cleansed of feral stains, measuring not gains
Magnetised, reveals innate essence luminescent

We may call this Holy Spirit, kundalini or grace
There is no one now within, to assign any label
In timeless time, we may see God face to face
Inner alignment being all it takes for this miracle

Becoming the answer, we need no translator
Yet the light that already is, we cannot transmit
Ceasing to be a doer, as a humble receptor
Know God in-dwells all, when we cease to resist

“If you would merge with oneness, vaporise!
Be a child again, welcoming surprise!”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Immersed in limitation
Shrouded in darkness
Feeling thus confined
We flounder about
Hither and thither
Searching for joy
Bliss in permanence
Yet our heart senses
That we are far more
Than this mind body
With senses externalised
Lower mind fragmenting
Trying to piece together
The puzzle of life
Without success
Thus in delusion
Hypnotised by illusions
We strive and struggle
Hoping for a miracle
Which instantly appears
No sooner we ask
As voice of conscience
Echoing Gods will
Which has but one vibration
Love unconditional
Here begins a struggle
Between head and heart
Between ego and the divine
Former seizing, grasping
The latter, sharing, connecting
We recognise
That the voice of truth
Is that of conscience
Yet, we fear to lose
Fleeting images garnered
Or which we yearn for
Since we are clinging
To ego mind body
Stagnating in ferality
Trapped by our own hand
Unable to escape
It is then
That God in His compassion
Extends us a hand
Showing us the clear light
Of immutable truth eternal
By posing challenges
By signalling the futility
Of chasing a mirage
Illusionary thought forms
Which is what
All manifestations are
Thus when so graced
We begin to look inwards
In silence and stillness
Thought rested awareness
Doing nothing
Simply resting
Poised in the void
Of no-thingness
Desireless
Fearless
Detached
Nonchalant
Unexpectant
In timeless time
In as ordained
Attention is softened
Thoughts are quietened
Ego cravings recede
The external fades
As we get to
Vibrant emptiness
Thus we are
Thus we remain
For as long as it takes
Toxins within cleansed
Our earth life vessel
This mind body
Is readied
To receive the elixir
The magnetic impulse
Of Gods bountiful love
In boundless measure
The paths are many
We know them not
For we are not the doer
God alone is the mover
In childlike trust
Aspect allowing
We imbibe the bliss
Scintillating
~~~~~~~

He is that who may not be named
We too are as He, oh hermit
Within heart as the turret
Our divinity unstained

14.3
“I have realized the Supreme Self,
the Witness, the One
I am indifferent
to bondage and freedom.
I have no need for liberation”

14.4
“The inner condition
of one who is devoid of doubt
yet moves among creatures of illusion
can only be known by those like him”

What is realisation
What is awakening
If there remains doubt or hesitation
In conclusions arising from our contemplation
Then we are still searching
There being a gap in our so connecting
Our consciousness with supreme awareness
Blockages impeding full flow of Divine fragrance

After the initial witnessing or experiencing
There is a long road in consolidating & assimilating
The knowing
Not quite the becoming
As long as the current is intermittent
We are short of full enlightenment
And whilst the glimpses are encouraging
We need to surrender fully to cognise the Supreme all pervading

The symptoms manifest may yet be as stated as unseeking
We may be content in the Divine stream within us flowing
Yet to be truthful can we affirm the validity
Of being connected to the Source in an unbroken continuity
Being detached and desireless is an orientation laudable
But to say that we are free of doubt is a concept laughable
So whilst we patiently and trustingly await our blossoming
We are humble in confessing that we are still unseekingly seeking

Verse 14.3-14.4 revisited on 17-November-2021

Mere affirmation
Not a confirmation
Although we confess
That there’s been progress
With glimpses offered
Wisdom proffered
In a slow tease
That does please
Essence of presence
Blissful joyous innocence
Knowing God in-dwells each form
Birthing magnetic rapture warm
No sooner ego disappears
God Himself appears

The way is simple
Though mind fickle
Once it melds with heart
Feel therein bliss ignition start
Soma nectar flows through nadis
Heightened ecstatic joy in continuity
Each pore a door, do we yet need more
There is no one here keeping a score
All is, as is, a bliss continuum
Each node our sensorium
Love meads, we follow
In stillness mellow

Premium Member Ashtavakra Gita Verse 9:1 and 9:3

9.1
“Opposing forces,
duties done and left undone—
when does it end
and for whom?
Considering this, be ever desireless,
let go of all things,
and to the world turn an indifferent eye”

9.3
“Seeing all things as threefold suffering,
the sage becomes still
Insubstantial, transient, contemptible--
the world is fit only for rejection”

Sacrilege but we beg to differ
Based upon what we do infer
Detachment not indifference
Why anaesthetise sentience

Celebration not rejection
Exuberance not dejection
Pain may be but suffering imaginal
If we feel it is real not conjectural

As for the rest and reading between the lines
We do divine
That being not the doer there is no doing
In dynamic stillness too the Divine alone is moving

If we are here it is of our own choosing
Let our stillness then be our consciousness so accepting
Surrendering the illusionary ephemeral to the flow
Erasing negativity within to reveal our presence aglow

In stillness slow

Verse revisited on 29-October-2021

Earth life manifests sharp contrast
Leaving even fearless hearts aghast
We are here to energise our potential
That we may conjure our love parable
For in the domain of light our soul rests
Facing adversity triumph earth life tests
On reaching exhaustion get to recognition
That desire cessation pathway to liberation
So ceasing thinking, we meld head and heart
In the void of stillness we feel bliss ignition start
Our emptiness magnetised by bliss in fullness
In time time we merge with the That oneness
We are then in but not of the external world
In silence we celebrate as soul is unfurled
Spiritual heart, here now within our form
Enlivened by divine bliss currents warm
Layer by layer we see identity vaporise
In boundless measure does bliss rise
Negating nothing exiting stagnation
Flow of life itself is our meditation

Premium Member That that endures

Love alone is real and that’s life’s gist
but imagining we’re distanced from source,
grace that uplifts, we begin to resist,
opting instead to employ use of force.
Mistaken we’re merely this body-mind,
we’re mired in pursuits, that are self-serving,
caught in ego’s inexorable bind,
believing we alone are deserving.
All that that is born, will one day soon die
but even though we see and so know this,
we live out our life as though it’s a lie,
hypnotised by the desire-serpent’s hiss.
Life is a gift, where each of us can choose,
to make love and light, flavour of our muse.

To make love and light, flavour of our muse,
it is clear we need a consciousness shift,
resolve steadfast, offering no excuse,
watchful that we are no longer adrift.
Negating nothing, we look at ourself,
noticing how thought forms rise and subside,
so sweeping clean fear clutter on our shelf,
with throb of conscience, we opt to abide.
Simple is the shift from our head to heart,
which basically means we surrender,
feeling, not thinking, thus God-search we start,
beholding each breath in childlike wonder.
The outer world no longer holds allure;
for all ills in life, love’s the only cure.

For all ills in life, love’s the only cure,
is what we see in the world of shadows,
love alone being that that does endure,
looking beyond lifetimes, as spirit knows.
Once we’re empty, fearless and desireless,
divine magnetism pervades feeble form
and holding steadfast our focus tireless,
our pure heart invokes within, a bliss storm.
Our counsel then oh monk, is to be still,
embracing and releasing joy and pain
and by doing so, voids within will fill,
healed by touch divine that cleanses soul’s stain.
We forget when we make a to-do list,
love alone is real and that’s life’s gist.

Premium Member Ashtavakra Gita Verses 18:7 To 18:8

18.7
“Seeing everything is imagination,
knowing the Self as timelessly free,
the sage lives as a child”

18.8
“Knowing himself as Absolute,
knowing existence and non-existence
to be imagination only,
what is there for the desireless one
to learn, say or do?”

Employing conscious thought to choose meditation
Then handing over the baton of awareness to intuition
Intuition resting in the stream flowing Divine connection
Rests allowing manifestation of ineffable blissful elation

If the point we miss
The learning is this
Just be to become
With Divine Love one
In childlike innocence
Without resistance

Verse 18.7 to 18.8 revisited on 12-January-2022

What is the underlying noumena
Birthing all manifest phenomena
Self-hypnosis in the hall of mirrors
Fears and desires giving us shivers
Being but illusions we did manifest
Akin to a lucid dream playful jest

At day’s end we slip into deep sleep
Thoughts fade, bliss sinks in deep
We awake each morn sans memory
In stupor continuing our life journey
Yet while awake if we opt for silence
We reclaim divinity of our innocence

Oh worthy lama, cessation the way
Fearless, desireless, given to play
In monk mode embrace and release
Free flowing like the morning breeze
Presence within but not of the world
Sees with each breath, joy unfurled

Mind-body that hitherto was subject
Shifts into the void, thus an object
Pristine awareness free from thought
Devoid of thought, is not fear fraught
That that remains our soul presence
Blissful love and light luminescence

Premium Member Meditational Prayer

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
Unbroken awareness, divine entwined
Love enabled, with ego declined

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
As a non-doer, yet doing with zest & zeal
All circumstances holding equal appeal

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
Dispersing among all, the fragrance divine
Self surrendered, knowing that all is thine

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
Be I fearless, desireless & empathetic
Accepting life as it is, joyously ecstatic

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
May I be equal in both victory and defeat
Ego surrendered, with divine joy replete

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
May I respect the journey of each spirit
Judging in no one, neither fault nor merit

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
Be I devoid of feral lust & gross greed
Loving embrace in thought, word & deed

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
Unseeking seeker, unexpectant yet ready
A detached observer, tranquil & steady

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
May in all realms be I so enabled
That my ego’s agenda be never tabled

I pray that we be ever connected
Now and always, no time excepted
Trustingly unhurried about my attainment
Content in Universe bestowed enablement

True Love

Love or lust? Of course Love.
Read along to find out what is true love...

True Love

Yesterday my son asked me jokingly,
"What will you do if I die?"
I responded spontaneously-
"I too will die instantly."
My only thought was
"How will he manage on his own after death?
He will be soul, we humans. Even if he talks we would not hear him. He will get scared. I have to be by his side."
I meant what I said!
Later on I pondered, I was ready to die! Why?
Is it because he was in my womb for 9 months?

Was it love or attachment?

We do have a special attachment to blood relations.
That is why husbands care more for mother, brothers ,sisters than wife.
Wife too can never hate her family.

There is a relationship for which you are ready to sacrifice everything.
It is a heart matter,
Logic and reasoning doesn't work here.
Thoughts go beyond other person's good or bad nature.
There is pure selfless concern.

I am convinced this is true love not mere attachment.
True love is pure, everlasting, selfless and divine.

Lust is a desire,
Pure love is desireless.

Lust like any other desire,leaves you longing for more.
Mind is never satiated! Thirst forever unquenched!

Lust like any other desire,can make you sin.
It has indeed been the root cause of many evils.

Desires can be ended with a flip of mind!
That much control we should have on our mind!
Desires without attachment can never waiver mind,
Desireless mind is a tranquil mind.

Premium Member Divine Light Bursts

Divine light bursts, it’s hue, soft, brilliant white
Quenching our desireless, unseeking thirst
We behold the wonder, by direct sight
Happening spontaneous, unrehearsed

As living light, within form is disbursed
Unbound is both tranquil calm and delight
No doing by us done; we are nursed
Divine light bursts, it’s hue, soft, brilliant white

Gods touch assures all wrongs will be set right
Having risen above delusion erst
As we be suffused in His healing light
Quenching our desireless, unseeking thirst

Negating all knowing, with which mind versed
Our heart propels us into divine flight
Ensconced in love, with God having conversed
We behold the wonder, by direct sight

Our continuum thus through day and night
Ego cravings upturned, karma reversed
Humming purring renews in form airtight
Happening spontaneous, unrehearsed

No separate self needs to be coerced
Presence in innocence at zenith height
We are fully, in the bliss stream immersed
One with the oneness, dissolved and quiet
Divine light bursts
