Caught In the Vortex

Caught In The Vortex

A vortex of sin and derision tries to capture me in morning
Set in motion by agents, others, not of my frame of mind
Swirling in the evil of their world
There are homes to be built, science and other matters
To occupy my time and to attend to for the future
I refuse to be drawn in to this confusion
There are butterflies and birds with wings to study
Rising with the soft hills to feel first light
The shouting and the screaming breaks the day in two
Diverting instantly my focus on the kinder view
People want me to take a side, any side will do
They swear that their side holds the truth
There are streams with cool clear water drifting from this site
Easy on the mind with curvatures of blue and gray swaying
Tiny rippling waves at play
My tormentors scream cruel words at me
Force me to fight with a vengeance they engineered
For now I concentrate on fields of flowing flowers
A vortex of sin with sinister intent
Will catch up with me and capture me by morning
Where agents put me in a cage for not engaging in their battles
They starve me in the dark. They call me friend.

Bikinis In Beach

Light blue sky bathed in sunlight
ultraviolet flirting the deep blue sea
 strolling shorelines of lazy beaches
feeling the touch, women lying in bikini.

polka dots, some neon green and orange
criss-cross strings on bare almond skin
ripples of desire towering on high waves
waist poised perfect in bikini paper-thin

absorbing curvatures amidst little shells
on slender thighs, staring eyes freeze
convex sand dunes ignite fun in the sun
with scent of beer in pollen-filled breeze.

Bikini blossoms color the tanned silver beach
two pretty pieces reveal an alluring seduction
A tsunami of pleasure, the teeny weeny dress
In the Eden of apples, it's forbidden temptation.

Dance of Eternal Things

In the morning a lion rises from its sleep
Concerned by thousand images of restless dreams
It roars in search of his own image as it is seen in a puddle of muddy water
Tirelessly he roams until midday Sun grazes its gracefulness upon his face
He is lost in its beauty
Paralyzed by the chaos of things that burden a day

On a midday Sun a lazy elephant threads upon the Earth with a heavy footsteps
Non-important things become life threatening
He wrinkles his eyes as he has lost sight of wide landscapes
Where is he threading towards?
There is a monkey pulling on his tail, ever restless

In the hot charred earth one can see footsteps that leave no shadow
One big, one small, intertwined
If I does not see carefully
Footsteps seem to lose their differentiation in the infinite footsteps layed upon ground of the Earth
Differentiate! How hollow those footsteps seem
How brittle those shadows must be!

A great bird rises in the dusk and to great heights he flies
Now the footsteps are but paths, and paths are but a curvatures imprinted on landscape
Smiling, he feels the wind in his wings
And he speeds ever closer to the Sun
Free, between Sun and Earth
Everything lost its meaning
What is true in this world?

Milion crystal lights appear in the night sky
Serene, they shower those who are lost
The world is now theirs
Made up of the Sun and the Earth,
Of day and night and things usefull and those not so
A wanderer can find that all the paths are but one path
Repeated endlessly in a Great dance of eternal things

Day, night, night and day
Molecules speeding around a core
As much as light shines around a saint
Night, day, day and night
Space widens and time slows
Now is all-time
Endless in its dance
How far must wanderer wander
And how long must a seeker seek
Is light endless or does darkness devour it in the end?
When you hear no-sound
Hear then how light shines
Lion, elephant, monkey and falcon
They dance their own dance
Day, night, Sun and stars
In a dance of eternal things

Green Palm Trees Yellow Helicopters On the Blue

Beyond the atmospheric dome blue sky
A red sun punctuates every moment gone
Past cosmic black in dark suspense
Hovers above the marbled cloud of Earth below

When stepping outside for the very first time
Looking up, the sky seems bigger than yesterday
As if it grew up over night by lightning strikes

Morning gathers clarity being viewed in colors
Five thousand balloons drift by in mellow style
Smaller than they were before their flight
To follow outlines of flying objects high
Of yellow helicopters holding patterns fast

Hung like Christmas ornaments
Seen from below they look toy-ish
Against the back drop of gigantic blue
Curvatures of a planet taken by its roundness

Dome rises solid from within the mission path
Inside the limits of imagination voyaging
Vivid to the naked eye surprised at being seen

Palm trees dangling in their greenery
Floating roots in grave danger of being cut
Helicopters know the distance to the nearest star
When close at hand to plants, rotating blades above
Almost afraid to touch
They understand

Long fronds on top, dress in brightness, stand on air
Follow their own gravity, merge with the open sky
Green palms, yellow helicopters, suspend activity
Sway in silence above the fragile calm

Beauty On the Beach

Beauty comes on the rolling dunes of Summer
Shore lines stretch out blankets in the sand
Lick the waves of salty oceans rising tides
Stretch their fingers on landscape meanderings

Morning brings sunbeam delight on balance
On blue curvatures of Earth and all her worth

Rainbows bow in anticipation of the day
Pray for children who swim the underseas
When they surface they come up alive
Sea shells don't collect themselves

Light bounces off the forces heard
Found in children voices screaming
Beach balls escape with thunderous kicks
With so much color who could blame them
Is air the guilty party here

More beauty visits in bikini afternoons
Looking towards the sun for guidance
Turning to the moon for confidence
For love, to be arrested by your charms
Majesty is found in heads she turns

Never look away from beauty
God gave us eyes to follow every line
It delights us with a sense of worth
There are more curvatures on Earth

In the eye of the beholder beauty is
Overflowing in their bikinis bare
Women sparkle when they dive
Some come alive with personality
Don't look away now or I will die!

Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle, little star.

From a trillion miles afar -

Your rays penetrate the night

And avail of your delight.

Through the curvatures in space

Where the moments are erased

You forge onward in your course

To the sun and to the earth,

Both a photon and a wave -

Both a master and a slave -

Matter, energy and speed -

Both fulfilment and the need -

Self and space-disturbing force

Charting journey from its source.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star

Shimmer as you fling ajar

Door between the mind and heart -

Tear the manacles apart -

Make it shatter; make it bleed -

Water flowers; cull the weed;

Burn outside and burn within

Till the mind begins to spin

And avails of Northern Pole

To attain into the soul -

There to manifest as light

And achieve unending might

That can burn, and warm, and heal -

Universal truth reveal -

And allow it to break free

Like volcano in the sea,

There to reach into the clouds

And to exorcise the doubts

Of what's lovely - of what's good -

And what, if it only could -

If it only had the force -

Would make paradise of Earth.

Twinkle, twinkle, little soul,

Be my journey, be my goal

,Be my transcendental truth

And don't fall into misuse

But remain, all woes despite,

To give solace, courage, might -

To inspire the ones beneath

And direct them into bliss:

Burn and shine, and from my mind

Wipe false thoughts that make me blind

And replace myopic eyes

With the true, the good, the wise.

And as you reach in my bone,

Make it shatter like a stone,

Tear it, shake it, mold it, burn

From the sundown till the morn.

In the sky and in the eye

In the place where shadows fly

Disincarnate, free at last -

Free from future, free from past -

And existing anyhow

Living in eternal now:

Through the evening, through the dark,

Like a condor, like a shark,

Like a laughter, like a tear -

Through the moody atmosphere -

Little star! Twinkle and shine!

Burn me, scorn me, and be mine!

Vase Dream I

Pink vase with no design
Dangling there so blue- c'est la vie
I think somewhere in Center City
Apart from everything hectic
In an apartment rising high skyward
The item lingering on the edge of ledge
Standing tall atop a railing raw
Languishing over the 20th Floor
Or thereabouts and more

The balcony didn't expect such curvatures
Or fragility on a morning broken
The sunlight nodded approval of course
Around bouncing beams above the surface

But nothing could stop a soft breeze from…
Poof!.....And off it went… c'est la vie vase

An alert Frenchman, pastry smile and all
Happened along with nimble fingers
Stretched out, caressing a baguette bread
And Beaujolais 42 in fragile glass
The other hand grabs out with stress
As if to field an errant football pass

And in that chance encounter…Catch!...
Tumbling to concrete boundaries down
Bottle released in a wincing crash
Ground favored his mortal urgency
Pottery saved - c'est la vie, Intact

French man’s head cracked
Let’s say opened, something like an egg
More scrambled than not on concrete
A natural death ensued with the seizure

A passerby, identified as a stranger
Seized the moment in a grab
Lifted vase from the newly deceased and fled
Made off down and dirty

An awaiting ally came conveniently placed
To avoid detection from the law and all
Another fate for vase awaits out there
Less encumbered in a far away land
For dreams of other ledges and escapes
If so inclined as far as we can understand

British Inquisition

Irish Equines and Scottish Rubbish
Admiration's and Despondent
                       days
as sail will say of sewing's
                                       days
antonym was taught with
                              pleasant pirch
Birch as drawn or Castled wrong
heavenly curvatures
                              rarely daunt
Playful men aboard, a sea
Days end nights
                      Arabic keys
Bought, brought at boughe
         nestled beside, curries
                                      left favorite
only and when boats as steam
                             are played fifth

dedicated to orders and the vice of an Admiral's Home

Beauty

Beauty comes on the rolling waves of salty water
Shore lines lick what they can and leave the sand
Morning brings sunbeam delight on balance
On blue curvatures of Earth and all her lands

Rainbows bow in anticipation of the day
Surfaces pray, become their playground
Light bounces off the forces of gravity
Found in the smile of your love

Beauty looks to the sun for guidance
Turns to the moon for a direction home
For love, to be arrested by your charms
Majesty is found in heads she turns

You can not look away from beauty
Beauty delights us with a sense of worth
In the eye of the beholder there you are
A sparkle, a personality, fashioned from light
Don't look away now or I will die
