Until then

A lab in ( huga tuga blah- blah) had 6798 protesters.
Protesters that were angry about the labs experiments. They were ready to reintroduce the world to there SaberToothed lions. A move local ranchers and farmers said no to! This lab is in the poorest ghetto. It is positioned 14 miles from seven farms. Five miles from the gas station. The citizens of Brownstone Luferer were concerned but not bothered as the lab was a tax break for those who had large estates near the towns center. They called the fooles of Brownstone foolish, due to the lack of proper fencing around the lab.When two cows three horses were missing some in the town became worried about being lied to. Cantar Slowmeanie organized a protest to find out what was going on.
What he and WFoXX found chilled the world.Bleu Ocvate and Rock Glamrock the head of the Brownstone Counsel of Current affairs reported in a press conference with 20,798 people, of the conditions at the Sabertooth lion Lab, and the missing Lions who had never been reported missing.This is what started the protest said Cleftnota Slowjam; y'all thank disk is cute, it ain't, now everyone's mad.We believe this to be an affordability crisis against our people. Rupt the Process said Hoo-Gamos Montria of Octvace Peace. A hoo-doo-wee process that is against all
the people!

Time is ephemeral and finite and impermanence my place on earth

I am never perfect but hope to be good enough for this world

My sight has always been poor and I seek insight nevertheless

Knees are beginning to grind and endurance takes a bit longer

And yet life is no marathon or fast race so the grim reaper can wait

Acceptance has reached me though I stumble at a few hurdles

Impatience continues to be my defect and an impasse to healing

When challenges grip the target seems so very distant for real

So much that I flush the plunger before I pass what needs be

Waiting for Godot never was my best state of current affairs

Ingrained in me is the notion there are no problems only solutions

Thus I am insolvent for reality is not well adapted to my beliefs

However I am special some say and an unlimited edition of one

Distinctive idiosyncratic and loved by those who share my path

Blessed with kind and compassionate people who put up with me

My wife lover and soulmate shares my sweet transient journey

And I have learnt to cherish help assistance and kind guidance

I have come to embrace the fact that I am especially fortunate

The Reality of It

Translucent Light
Sable Soul
Looked into your depths
Found false hope
Reality Is not what I was told
The harshness was what I was shown
Built up while you destroyed
Succumbing to your onslaught
Duped by words
Fooled with flesh
Looks like i'd never been seen before
Your earthen eyes
Tore a hole straight through
Bore down to my very core
Your effervescence diffused my demure demeanour
The lilt of your step
The gambol of your stride
The opulence of your form
The eloquence with which you poured forth the I love yous
The prophetic visions of our future
All clouded the murmured demise
The imbroglio of our current affairs
Misplaced feelings
Love eludes
My feelings true
My love yous real
My existence reveals the guise of your love towards the chosen
Your location makes me no more than a fanciful dalliance
Bucolic setting is your gift
Mine is a life unraveled
Unable to move forward
Incapable of turning back
your doleful forbearance of words
Drives home your intent with more fury than a blade
You don't love me
You don't love him
You love you

I was sitting alone at the airport bar,
waiting for a connecting flight;
When she sat down on the stool beside me
as the day was turning into night.

I had a sense she was a beauty,
but didn’t want to be so rude as to turn and stare,
so I just played with the ice in my rum and coke
pretending like she wasn’t there.

I noticed heads were turning and looking our way,
and I heard them whisper, “Oh my God, it’s her!”
When I looked straight ahead I saw sunglasses and a hat
hiding a face in the bar mirror.

Then a young man asked her for an autograph;
She whispered to me, “Please make him go away”;
I turned to the boy saying, “Maybe some other time,
she’s having a pretty bad day.”

She turned toward me pulling down her shades;
stared for a minute or two at my face;
chuckled and said, “You don’t have a clue who I am;
You must be the only one in this place.”

“No ma’am, I don’t keep up on my current affairs;
I wouldn’t know one celebrity from another;
Even if you didn’t have those custom shades on,
I wouldn’t know you if you were the Queen Mother.”

“If you don’t throw touchdown passes
for my favorite football team;
or haven’t pitched a no hitter yet,
then you’re somebody I probably haven’t seen.
If you aren’t a sportscaster;
or the guy who makes the betting book,
then the odds are pretty heavy,
upon your face I’ve never ever looked.”

She said, “Now that’s refreshing,
Bartender, buy this man a drink.”
We sat talking to each other about nothing,
for about three hours I think.

Finally, she said, “I’ve got to leave,
It’s been real nice talking to you, Joe.”
She put back on all of her camouflage,
and quickly got up to go.

Then a young girl came up to me
and asked if I would autograph a picture;
She said, “I don’t know just who you are,
but you must be someone if you know her!”

I never found out just who she was;
in fact, I never even made a try;
For that one night in that airport bar,
she was just another girl with just another guy.

Chairman Xi Jinping you seek a new geo-strategical order

Sick of the blame game burden and fake foreign news

Like viruses internet hacking sanctions and accusations

Spew a fault line of tsunamis and earth shattering quakes

Pacific surfers’ paradise and floods of Confucian proportions

‘The envious man grows lean at the success of his neighbour’

Unless you are ignorant of razor sharp obvious double edged swords

Dragons assert to be peaceful creatures or aggressive tormenters

Paradigms shift under the influence of stark power and retaliation

Who threw the first stone anyway and was it a gem or merely a pebble

We all bleed the same red blood when we sigh our ultimate breath

Rise to challenge before everything goes up into terminal smoke

‘Before you embark on a journey of revenge dig two graves’

Its the year of the Zodiac Rat that symbolizes current affairs

Inquisitive shrewd and resourceful and of dualistic acclaim

Yin and Yang cosmic energy and universal chaos contained

In one symbol of unity and the harmony of opposite claims

A fortune cookie of crossed chopsticks wishbones and ashes

‘We should feel sorrow but not sink under its oppression’

Manifestos ideologies belligerent strides’ clashing culture

Where right turns wrong opposition becomes commitment

An eye for a blind eye slap on the cheek a take on the chin

As the red sun sets over the Blue Chinese Sea it remains to

Be seen whether defense or aggression descends into void

‘Our greatest glory is not in ever falling but in rising every time’

Maybe Humpty Dumpty needs a stepladder next time around

Chairmen Xi are you the rampart or full of nuclear con-fusion

Please stand up to my challenge and listen to my riddle and verse

In the background the Ukraine War and Europe’s dilemma whether to rearm to defend itself or go to the table to discuss a peace treaty.

The odd codgers

They sit together in the shadows of the baroque church, two relics biding time, perusing current affairs. An old, furrowed face, showing the effects of blood thinners, speaks with a brashness no one asks for. His opinion cuts through the air, sharp and impertinent, daring the timorous to abscond. He braves rivalry and buildups excite him. Beside him a tired veteran, with flushed cheeks and red nose, rambles on about summers long gone when he was still a cucumber. He speaks of conservation, his acridity, softened by years in brine. He advocates for caution as he remembers the sour embrace of his own memory.

They represent a strange science of age and defiance. Incompatible, of course, however in their solitude, they have grown bolder. They both believe in time’s power to change, to whittle into something unknown yet memorable. A reminder that some things are not meant to be simple.

mature essences –
silent whispers of the past—
bitter sweetness blooms.
