The curse driven by the full moon
Drove him to the forest where nature looms
Hunger fueled his charging rage
Uncontrolled hormones set to be uncaged
His body writhed and twisted
As if an unknown evils' power assisted
Elongated nose, canine teeth, bulging eyes
Coarsely grown hair , teeth large for size.
A cave a dwelling some place to hide
To conceal this beast from human sight
But the mind of the beast was not the same
To kill and eat by the moon was his game
Luna called with her full blown light
The beast responded killing that night
His disgust and dismay had just begun
Controlling the evil inside would not be fun
Blood soaked face dried from the feast
No memory or recall to save the least
Suicide or devastation destroy this part I be
Lunas' control is too strong over me
The night time went rouge
Wouldn't you know
Stepped out of the dark
Hitting the road
Finding out how
To weave in and out
From the still of itself
Without any doubt
I took a-hold of the night
Read it its Rights
Don't come again
Till after day light
This sneaking you do
Round about noon
Really is not
Very becoming of you
Where upon the night said to me
I can do as I please
Be who I want
This country is free
You're wasting your time
If you're trying to find
Some way or another
Of controlling my life
So that's why we are
Now all where we are
As the night took a bite
Instead of just bark
Knocked the daylight
Right out of the park
Where now we remain
All in the dark...
I'm a divine catastrophe, an unplanned event moving
through time & space
A wormhole opened & I emerged from a one on one
cosmic interface
Space & time are as relative as any fact, but I know we
exist with all forevermore
I've come & gone at will under pain of death to live a
life of pain that's underscored
I perceive the world from a higher perspective so I'm
able to see & draw the lines
This overstanding is internal guidance within a broken
system that inner stands borrowed time
Rewind the lines to consume the words with a hungry heart
& listen with starving ears
I'll be judged by a constructive God but won't accept the
judgment from any of my peers
Be free of the fear of controlling chains that attach themselves
to mind & soul
You can't be bound if you know you're as free air & it's you
that's always in control
This improvisation seems weird,
it's a continuous frustration
controlling your fickle decision;
every supplication goes unheard.
The attempt to put aside pity
clearly reveals the cruel side
you won't suppress with humility,
be human and show some dignity;
are you willing to lose everything
for a foolish feeling of pride?
are you so cold not to feel anything?
It's easier, to be honest
than hiding all the emotions
under a mask; who can see the imperfections,
who can guess how insincere one is...
if the trust in oneself is not easy to predict?
The attempt to put aside pity denies the stark reality
of the crushed dreams that have stopped to delighted us,
can we save them before they become another memory?
All we have to do is recreate that magic so loved by us!
If this quick hug, seeking sympathy, only lasted
longer than a glance it would erase all guilt,
but a silent outcry is never heard aloud
vanishing with all the hope entrusted to it!
I’ll drop verses on a sensitive subject.
Reflecting on an issue we can inspect.
That painful topic is domestic violence.
Showing not just in victim body dents.
Many times there’s no sign of the beating.
Like when stopping a partner from eating.
Or controlling their actions through fear.
Who mask the torture and wipe the tear.
By threatening a spouse to dominate.
Confusing the reality of love and hate.
By using children as pawns in the game.
Victim is a scapegoat, always to blame.
Blows can be swung and not returned.
Bruises are hidden but safety is burned.
Tricks to conceal the daily hell are played.
So an organization years ago was made.
For helping those hurt with info and tools.
Since this topic is rarely taught in schools.
Providing aid and resources to survive.
Restoring abused dignity so they thrive.
So take some time to call the support line.
Or click the links after this rhyme of mine.
Take advantage of this great free system.
To begin healing from harm done by them.
The National Resource Center of Domestic Violence.
Has a website thats helps victims sitting on the fence.
So if these verses make you ready to engage.
Come check out the NRCDV.org page.
Coming to Ninjago as an adult adult
I am ready as a student under my masters inspiration.
To see things in the newest way.
One comes into the world bald with no teeth and might leave it in the same way.
So smile brightly while you still can.
For I am the Awesome Red Ninja, controlling fire and actions.
And would see the world renewed like any pyro would.
Even if I don't have the button to fire you into the volcano.
I add sparkles to any and all BURSTS and BOOMS.
Unlike Master Wu I don't fight my chicken.
I eat it before my masters come.
As she is well seasoned and balanced with the earth.
Hope you like my response to your questions master.
The Electoral College
By Franklin Price
9/17/2017
The Electoral College is outdated they say
Should never have been, and is not for today
They say that the people are not having their way
That the College votes wrong, for the right kind of pay
Do those people who say that, understand why it's there?
Do they know what would happen, or do they even care?
Is the majority vote, always something that's fair?
Keep your mind open, as you read this, I dare.
We are a republic, not a democracy
Government is by the people in this land of the free
But there are fifty states, in this country you see
All have an interest, not only just three
Each state independent and each has its rights
If you think that's not true, think of Civil War fights
The people, of all states, must each have a say
If the College was gone that would not be the way.
The Federal based government does not give a damn
About ones in Alaska, might as well be Siam
Not enough people to get their flim flam
Or add to their power and get them more ham
We're in need of less power in that Washington place
Each state should have rights, and their spot in the race
Isn't it time for less egg on our face?
To govern this country with style and with grace
To do away with the College would make matters worse
Larger states would have deeper hands in our purse
More budget to them would cause small states to curse
Already pay taxes that are not reimbursed
You can see less have more in this land of the rich
They need not pay taxes, trickle down is their pitch
Taxes come from the middle and there life's a *****
If the college was gone, it would add to the glitch
The College should stay, if we really care
For each of the states and the residents there
If we really are interested and want to be fair
Make the Feds less controlling of the laws in their lair
Line of Inquiry...
as an entity in the dream we conjured
we know not we are both the dreamer and dreamed
how then may we wake up when we are in trance
in bondage to illusions we ourselves streamed
We slip between bed sheets and a spell is cast
Fast asleep in realms of a conscious mind,
finding we're on a journey where dreams unfold
Told we can take ourselves outside a gate,
awaiting visions, we conjure for pleasure
and treasures we find in idyllic dreams.
Moonbeams can take us to the edge of time.
Sublime, the dreamer, the ethereal host,
most often unaware that we have dreamed.
Serene, the reverie spent with a lover
discovering the secrets within our soul
controlling the flow of the stream in our dream.
Sown were seeds of sleep from sandman's hand.
Spanned across minutes while we're in a trance,
dancing as if we drank from Morpheus' chalice
Without malice 'twas given for slumber,
lumbering on our pillow into a deep
sleep where dreams are burning embers fanned.
With grandiose wings we soar through stardust nights.
Flights on an uncharted course when left to fate,
created spontaneously on a whim.
Grim a dream may become... an eerie illusion.
If confusion sets in, we need a shake
to wake from stygian dreams where peril looms.
Age sixteen I guess it begins,
a downward spiral that I fell in,
did drugs too much, memories a fuzz,
the years went by the more I need the buzz.
I lost myself, I guess I lost my mind,
looking for the next endorphin buzz I'd find,
It made me turn nasty and act unkind,
and for that I'd like to apologize.
A false scene, I seen that I would rise,
but it jumped and it ran and it changed disguise,
I followed it further buying more supplies,
until I was lost in deep under cloudy skies.
I need to find the strength to change my strategy,
if only I could force myself out of this tragedy,
if only demons and devils would stop controlling me,
then I could force my way out of this deep and darkened sea.
When I've stood to fight I've faultered,
I can't help but end up being tortured,
with each battle that comes I get slaughtered,
but it's wars not battle that create the conquered.
I've took a hold of myself and controlled addictions,
and forcefully changed up my own description,
from street drugs to those on repeat prescription,
now nothing can influence or enforce restrictions.
Now this is my empire and these are my kingdoms,
this my fortress with the best defensive systems,
this my strong arsenal supplying killer weapons,
that can destroy enemies, attempts or what threatens.
I came, I fought, I conquered,
I rule the land and I've secured it.
I survived by miracle against the odds,
and I'm not religious but I thank the Gods.
I found you within the
darkened corners of my mind
Controlling my very thoughts
flowing through my being
Imprinting upon me as no other
Confiscating my dreams
each night guarding them
from nightmares
leaving nighttime fantasies
of you and I
Visions of such tender sweetness
watching our bodies flow
with the fluidity of unflurling silk
as our passions fulfill each fantasy
My essence cries out to yours
Resistance so weak yet beautiful
Yearning anxiously awaiting
for those dreams to become reality
So until that day comes
I will love the nighttime where
we two rendezvous
to share our deep absolute love
It's within my nighttime's
I feel a peace and I can
truly feel complete joy
Because all I need in my life is
...YOU!
