The 8th Generation

The 8th generation of cats has been born.
As it has always been,

The milk is limited.
The space is limited.

They seek a first kiss.
Not milk, but the mother’s first lips.

The one who claims it first
Re-creates a new life for the days to come.

Pushed away. In a body struggle unseen,
I taste the holy water of the first nipple, yet I am pushed away.

Little by little, from that nest,
Little by little, I am pushed out.

Craving that kiss of first desire,
I draw near, but already,
Hunger has conquered my flesh.

I could never dare to gaze into my mother’s eyes.
Not even the blade-like lashing of her bitter tongue.

"Isn’t this what our life is?"

In the end, loaded onto a coffin,
Without ever getting drunk on the rich, milky taste of my mother,
I am sent away to my earth.

"Isn’t our life like this, too?"

In an era of material omnipotence,
In hunger and in fullness,
We do not seek out the baby kittens.

In the end, it is merely a designed pyramid.

The well-fed pig pursues a dream,
While the hungry pig longs to be full.

"Which class do we stand upon?"

Are we loach fish writhing in the muddy pit?
Or are we the grass blades
Dancing with the wind?

"We are all mere observers."

The living witness life,
The dead remember the fragrance of the primal mother’s milk.

I observe the new 8th generation of cats.
The 8th generation of cats observes me.

"If this alien dies, will we finally be free?"

LIFE IS A PARADOX

Yesterday we rose and today we fall
Today we fall and morrow we rise
We are on today, morrow we are off
We walked and trampled on the earth now and then, the earth mounts heaps on us
Today we mount the stage as heroes
And the next with flooded faces of sorrowful tear we are mourned as helpless victims
The strength of our boldness is the weakness of our frailty
Though the rain be so gentle on the turf , the much of it ,
Is the flood that causes the destruction of the beautiful vegetation

What is done is what is undone
Striving endlessly to catch the emptiness of life
Sometimes, the undecided and the most decided of life,
Are our pains.
We fear to lose our lives and not venture the dreaded den of gold
And lose the life in the tranquil of our sheer timidity
Those we love are those that love to hate us
Those whose arms we confined are the transmitter of our deepest secrets
The arms of whom we are safe are the arms of whom we are betrayed
The conquered and the conqueror are victims.

I ached. Was sore all over my body, my arms, my legs, my core.
My insides, my outsides, my get up and go had got up and gone to a war.
I didn’t know why my strength decided to leave. Leaving me all spent and beat.
Once I could run, laugh, dance all night long but now I just tasted defeat.

Then I questioned the food in my diet; the meat and veg, the grain, dairy, and pieces of fruit.
I drank plenty of water. Drank it each day. And I still felt exhausted, alone, destitute.
So I tried to think clearly. Think of simple solutions, to get me out of that mess.
But my mind, it was cloudy, I couldn’t think straight, my head, it was in so much distress.

Conquered I lay down and wondered about other tired folk, the drained folk all down, out and blue.
That’s when I remembered, their doctor fixed them, giving each of them a shot for the flu.
My arms, my legs, my body, my core were all in a war, a war so miserable, dreadful and tragic.
But the doctor gave me antibodies, a microscopic cavalry. They saved the day by doing their magic.

He was born in a shelter for animals,
Meant to keep off the wind and the rain;
For there was no room for them in the inn,
So it was here that they came.

His father did the best he could,
To see to His mother's comfort.
"Please God,' he prayed,'take care of her,
For she is no king's consort."

"I cannot give her all she needs,
And now her time draws nigh.
Please see Your Son into this world,
And watch them, lest she die."

So He was born in Bethlehem,
Jesus, The Nazarene;
And Joseph taught Him all he knew,
And He surpassed their dreams.

Wise beyond His years was He,
So thoughtful, good and kind.
Search if you will but you will see,
One like Him you won't find.

Here it was He spent His years,
And grew to be a man.
When it was time He left His home,
To teach and walk the land.

So much sickness, pain and sorrow,
Jesus saw and grieved.
He brought them out of the darkness,
And all their pain relieved.

He spoke to them of The Father.
Taught them what they must know.
He went where The Light was needed,
To places the priests would not go.

At first He was cheered, they received Him,
As one receives a great king,
And the priests were jealous and feared Him,
As to their old laws they clinged;

So when the fullness of time had come,
They brought Him before the courts,
And He was tried as a heretic,
And He suffered their jeers and retorts.

At length Jesus stood all by Himself.
Not one man stood beside Him.
His followers wept and were gripped with fear,
As they waited to see what betide Him.

Our Lord knew fear and lonliness,
And heartbreak cut like a knife;
But He was strong and withstood it all,
To end our personal strife;

For we'd been banished, cut off from God.
Our portion was certain death.
He was tortured, bled and died,
And forgave us with His last breath.

"Forgive them Father,' He cried aloud,
'They know not what they do."
And then He hung His head and died.
He died for me and you;

But that's not all my friend, Oh No,
He went into Hell that day,
To reclaim those who waited still,
And led them all away.

Then He returned to show us all,
He is The Father's Son,
Come to reclaim us as His Own,
And save us one by one.

He conquered Death, He conquered Hell,
He Is The Conquering King.
All Hail The Mighty Son Of God!
All Hail The King Of Kings!

Be still and know that I am your Lord
The battle I've won without need of a sword
I've conquered your enemy back at the cross
So you can continue without fear, without loss

My Blood is enough for your sickness your death
I'll be with you always until your last breath
Through valley of death I will lead the way
For ever and ever, with me you will stay

O God my Redeemer, Thy love is so great
You know that my ways was not always straight
But here at roads end I have to confess
Without You in my life, this would be a mess

Thanks for forgiveness for what I have done
For pardoning sins, one by one
Looking forward my Master to follow You
my soul in Your hands to be forever with you.

CHAMPIONS OF CYBERSMART - A POEM FOR THE VICTORS

????CHAMPIONS OF CYBERSMART (A POEM FOR THE VICTORS)????

In the heart of innovation, where bright minds ignite,
A team with vision rose, burning fierce & bright.
Yeshua debaters, bold & wise, took the stage with pride,
Led by Ejurah and Ayomide, side by side.

Ejurah, though with a little jittery & desire in her gaze,
Strategically steal our minds, setting hearts ablaze.
Ayomide, the spark, with points that soared,
Her voice speaks to clarity, her mind, adored.

Together they rallied as a team forged in the flame,
Not just chasing glory, but rewriting the Yeshua name.
With keystrokes of courage & key points that sang,
They conquered the finale with a victorious bang.

Behind them stood mentors, pillars of grace—
Mrs. Adesanya, with witty wisdom to embrace.
Mr. Victor, the guide with panache & passionate strides,
And Mr. Haastrup, whose experience helped reach the skies.

They didn't teach tech, but the power to believe,
To rise with resilience, to learn and achieve.
Through God's help, tutoring & strategy, they achieved a dream,
They sculpted champions from a hopeful stream.

As Yeshua fam, let's echo this tale of conquerors,
The tale of Yeshua debaters who rose as victors.
Cybersmart crowned them, the stars of the show,
And their legacy blooms wherever minds grow.

Premium Member Humpty Dumpty Or Mess of Pottage

Before Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Before Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
Before all concerned attempted to fix him
Before they all failed to make him great again
He was first an exported idea from the old country
Such an idea was anathema where Humpty was from
So Humpty succeeded far above and beyond expectation
In reality, Humpty was an idea whose time had come and
no one, but no one could stop Humpty from being the greatest
because he was, in essence, a great gift to a world of power mongers
So Humpty crossed the high seas and beat a trail through high weeds
He eventually explored and fought his way west from sea to shining sea
Similar to the Great Alexander, he conquered until there was nothing more
to conquer except the great outer space where he dreamed of living someday
But time was running out on Humpty and his people grew restless and self-centered. Having grown weary of lofty and noble pursuits, his countrymen eventually rebelled and turned against Humpty, against traditional values, against the Church, and even against the God of their fathers. He was stripped of his constitutional rights and sentenced to live out the rest of
his days sitting on a high wall on which there leaned a broken cross painted red, white, and blue. Humpty's family and friends were forced to move away, leaving him all alone and surrounded by foes, fools, and pleasure seekers. Puzzled, weak, feeble, and fainted, Humpty finally fell off the celebrated wall to
his death. After Humpty's death, it seems that the masses all of a sudden saw a great light that arrested and captured them because their hearts were broken over the demise of Humpty. They prayed and labored feverously to restore Humpty to life again but to no avail. Humpty was gone. It was too late. In Humpty Dumpty they had what the whole world longed for, but they gave it all up for a 'mess of pottage' (pride, pleasure, greed, indifference.........)* Sometimes it's too late to acknowledge that which we once ignored.

I look all around and what do I see?
Christmas in code, a pure fantasy.

A plump happy Santa, a child on his knee
Under the bough of a tall Christmas tree.

Stockings and ribbons, merry and bright
Plenty of gifts of varying heights.

Snowmen and reindeer, angels and lights
Dreaming of feasting and sleigh rides at night.

But friend, don't be taken with this imagery
For Christmas is more than what we can see.

True Christmas began in a whole different way
A virgin, a stable, a babe on the hay.

And God with a plan, to save men from sin
A Savior, a gift for mankind, sent from Him.

A humble beginning, no earthly delights
He broke through the darkness and gave us the Light.

So do not be fooled by this fanciful sight
That does not remember God's power that night.

He conquered our sin and freed us from death
For Christmas is CHRIST, and His gift is the best.

In the beginning, Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit.
This could have been a fruit like a date or a red apple.
It certainly was not for us to sample.
Consequently, God made animal skin robes to cover
their bodies down to their naked ankles.

The first sacrifice of a lamb was done by righteous
Abel. God accepted his offering, that he
did gladly put on the offering table.

Noah built the Ark; by grace his family
with the animals assembled. Then came
the rain floods that descended from heaven.

The Israelites blew their mouths like a
trumpet at Jericho, then the walls crumbled.

The wooden Ark of the covenant covered by gold
is a physical symbol, toward God’s spiritual
              agreements.

David took a smooth stone, a big pebble
              and conquered Goliath the Giant.

Man may stumble and man may tumble.
Pray always to be able, stable and humble.

Jesus took up His cup, which the Father gave
Him and never did fumbled it but did drink from it.

There are musical instruments that give
              harmonious sounds for worship; some
are the piano, drums, timbral and cymbal.

People keep your body a holy temple.
Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ is our perfect
              example.

To do righteousness is holiness unto God.
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God of host.

We are in the last days. Things are going
to happen that will cause the whole earth
to rumble and tremble. God will save His
own elect from the end time crucible.

After all these things, God shall appear to
reign forever and ever in His majesty,
              beauty, goodness, holiness, righteousness,
              and greatness forever and ever.
              Hallelujah, Amen!

The tone of the teen hideout was pretty much hateful.
We hate the neighbors, the block, the oldies, the young ones.
We hate coffee, sugar, cleaning, being awake, being told what to do.
It was a rebellion of sorts.
If we had weapons, it might have been a blood bath.

So much anger and rage,
feeding off each other’s fears and disappointments.
I hate all of the McWhirters, I hate the White’s, I hate the Smiths.
I was keeping my mouth shut, because I did not if I was one of the whites or not.
I am actually pink with distorted brown polka dots, but you never know.
In self preservation, I joined them, throwing out some hates of my own.
The more hate we spewed, the more riled up we became.
I was afraid the guns and bullets were going to come out.

Grandpa knocked on the door and asked “You okay in there?”
Sheila yelled yes. The rest of us laughed. He’s old. Senile probably.
Two minutes later Grandma breezed in without knocking.
She sat down and began telling us stories about our parents.
They were hilarious; the mood of the room changed.
We accepted her offerings – warm pancakes, hot butter, syrup.
Love conquered us. There were no more words of hate.

One woman entering a room transformed fear and rage to love.
I have never forgotten the value of this lesson.
