I wanna spend Thanksgiving in a UFO
Thankin' the Cosmos for starlight's glow!
With veggies and fruits on my plate,
It's a Cosmic voyage that sure feels great!
Flying high, my saucer in the sky,
Mushrooms, squash, and peas roll by.
Thankfulness guides my heart, my art, my song.
At my Thanksgiving table, love belongs.
I want to paint like DeChirico in a dreamy haze,
While Roman columns fill my nighttime gaze.
Jupiter, Venus, and Odin are flying near.
My table is in Asgard with good mead and cheer.
Flying high, my space Saucer in the sky
Bluebirds and Cardinals are singin' nearby.
Planetary voices join in tune
As I sail beneath the Carribean moon.
I'm a Cowgirl, a pilgrim, a wanderin' woman.
The American spirit makes me feel free
With mashed potatoes and Seitan Stew,
Thanksgiving grits, yellow squash, and linguistic brew.
I'm flyin' high, my saucer in the sky.
Blessed be all, with peace to guide
Thanksgiving, the best Cosmic Holiday
Intergalactic with forever racing freeways!
A Norse Day
Odin, god of battle, always looking for a war
Took his brother Loki off to battle with his son called Thor
The only way to find true peace
Is killing everything you please
His brother Loki liked only fun and pranks
For that he got no thanks
Thor gained fame with thunder hammer in his hand
He was a hero like his dad and loved throughout the land
There were no dragons at that time but never mind
Thor could fly, (according to the scriptures)
But only in the comic strips and fiction
In “real” mythology he used a goat to get around
To slew giants and the bad guys down
The goat or goats would drive across the sky
With thunder driven chariots and Thor inside
Odin threw his son from Asgard to the Earth
If that were not the case. If Thor was not a jerk
We wouldn't have Thors-day or Thursday you might say
The mystery of his mystic hammer power still remains
But we have the 5th. day of the week now named
7/29/14 All Things Norse contest
With the end of days upon them
Nears the time of final battle
In the halls of high Valhalla
Asgard senses its death rattle
In the forest crows the rooster
In the sky the sun does darken
In the cave the hound is howling
To these signs the Aesir harken
Heimdall blows the Gjallarhorn
Dark the rainbow bridge is turning
Vivid lightning cleaves Yggdrasil
Then the central tree is burning
Aesir watch in fascination
See volcanoes spew like fountains
See the heavens splitting open
See the oceans climb the mountains
See the continents convulsing
See the forests burn to ashes
See the sons of Mim awaken
In the fatal lightning flashes
As the winds consume the wasteland
From the south Surtr advances
With his minions tearing corpses
Bright his sword and sharp his lances
Aesir then prepare their weapons
Eyes are clear and arms are steady
The Midgard serpent Jörmungandr
Upon the battle plain is ready
With his heavy hammer Mjolnir
Strides the mighty god of thunder
To do battle with the serpent
And to rend the world asunder

The heir to Jotunheim
A prince orphaned to war,
He grew up a brother to Thor
In the divine halls of Asgard.
The God of Mischief, he is called
True to his cunning and charm
He keeps daggers up his arm
You never know what scheme he is on.
He was not fond of Odin
But he deeply loved his mother
He learned his wily tricks from her,
Frigga raised him as her son.
But, in spite of his malevolent plots,
He did things we should reward
Like when he helped in saving Asgard
And he died by the hands
of the Titanian warlord.

Tony rouses, his circuits buzzing,
the taste of copper lingering in his mouth.
A battlefield stretches behind his eyelids—
always the same one.
Natasha counts her scars like rosary beads,
each one a prayer she never spoke aloud.
The red in her ledger has faded to rust,
but the weight remains.
Steve stands at the window,
his reflection a stranger from 1943.
The shield leans against the wall,
waiting for hands that feel too old.
Thor’s laughter shakes the rafters,
but the lightning in his eyes dims
when no one’s looking.
Asgard is a ghost in his voice.
Bruce folds his rage into origami cranes,
tiny and precise.
The other guy watches from the shadows,
quiet for now.
They gather where the sky is bruised with twilight,
a fractured constellation.
Although the earth keeps revolving,
we humans applaud their brave enterprise.
TWO AVENGER'S BOXING BOUT
Midst rings of thunder and a vibrant haze,
Two titans clash, in a gladiatorial gaze.
Their presence makes the cosmos sing.
Immortal meets might in a mortal boxing ring.4
Thor, the Asgardian, with punches as hammer aflame,
And Hulk, the green goliath with fury untamed:
The gloves collide, like thunderbolts from the sky,
As sparks ignite, reaching heights so high.8
Thor's hammered punches swings, a celestial might,
Hulk absorbs the blow, his resistance a sight.
Blow for blow, they trade their might,
Each punch sparkles a flicker & bright light.¹²
Wow... what a spectacle never seen,
Amidst their battle, fierce and keen.
Thor swings Mjolnir, its arc lightning-laced,
Its thunderous clash in the arena, swiftly traced.¹6
Unyielding, Hulk roars, his fists like crashing stones,
Each strike break bones & shatter mountains.
The battle rages with raw power & untamed fury,
A test of gods & monsters, judge and jury.²°
Then, in a moment charged with destiny's call,
Thor gathers the storm, his might enthralling all.
He aims for the head, with precision and grace,
But Hulk's defenses shatter, leaving no trace.²4
With a roar of thunder, his blow, a comet's fiery tail,
Striking the Hulk forcefully, rending the very veil.
Hulk stumbles then falls, a silent hush descends.
The mighty god of thunder, on whom Asgard depends²8
Stands victorious, his foe vanquished forevermore
As the crowd erupts in a thunderous roar.
Yet, in Thor's eyes, respect shines clear as day,
For the fierce opponent, who in the ring, did lay.³²
In the clash of avengers, the Asgardian prevailed,
His might and strategy, the tale unveiled.³4

HE SOUGHT SOMETHING MOST WERE SHAMED
TO SAY.
HE LONGED AND WISHED TO BE NEEDED
AND DESIRED TO BE LOVED.
THOSE EYES OF THOSE WHO WISH TO HAVE ME AS THERE
ENTERTAINMENT, HAS CREATED A WAY TO SEPARATE ME FROM THOSE
WHO MIGHT ESIRCHIATE MY LONGING
THAT I SPEAK WORDS THAT ARE UNDERSTANDABLE
AND HAVE NEGOTIATED WHAT IS
ACCEPTABLE TO THE BOTH OF US
PRAY YE OH LOVE OF MINE
MIGHT I FIND YE AND WE SHALL BE LOVERS
PRAY YE OH LOVE OF MINE MIGHT WE BE TOGETHER
PRAY YE OH LOVE, THAT WE SHALL STAND TOGETHER WITHOUT OBSTACLE
PRAY YE THAT THOSE WHO WISH US TOGETHER MIGHT FIND OUR TOGETHERNESS ACCEPTABLE IN THERE SIGHT
MIGHT HIMEROS BLESS US
THAT GOD HAS MADE US MALE AND FEMALE FOR THIS
THAT WE SHALL ENJOY THE COMPANY OF OUR TOGETHERNESS
AND FIND SANITY IN THE FACTS OF OUR REALITY
THEY STOOD AND SPOKE THESE SAYINGS THAT THOSE
WHO WISHED TO LEARN OF LOVE
AND THOSE WHO WISHED TO BE TOGETHER MIGHT
SPEAK THESE NAMES.
MAYURA SODA, HO-CHUNK AND HAIDA
NANA- BULUKU
YEMAYA, DAYUNI SI
ASGARD- LOKI- FRIGG
WODEN HIMEROS
THEY SAID AMEN AND LEFTED.
I bid thee welcome upon my doting journey midst the forest boughs.
Give thee welcome to this, my visioned passage into the trees.
Thrice bound within the wood's dark embrace.
Where ancient tales did lead our youths apace.
Wondrous visions served as a hiding place.
In spectacles of many-hued grace.
An aged sprite hath slumbered there for ages told,
Invoking air, and fire, and waters cold.
Leading dreamers down a winding way,
Of folded parchment where inklings stay..
There, the mind doth drink and feast its fill,
Midst gods and gnomes and fey of wondrous skill!
The Ascent to Wonder!
Lo! In the distance, a mountain peak doth rise!
Tis Asgard beckoning to the mortal eyes!
Where winged insects meet with sci-fi strange!
And stars do sprout wherever feel may engage.
Into another dream the spirit flies,
Creeping through the heights of rhythmic verse!
To seek the rugged bards who myths rehearse!
Green-cladd poets, blessed with thoughts divine.
Whose phenomenal folk in glory shine.
Fierce spirits of the air in ceaseless flight.
Forevermore, in paths of infinite light!!!!
The Return of Radiance
Thirdly, unto the realm of light once more.
Where sunbeams pierce the forest's ancient floor.
Through gracious trees the warmth of wisdom flows.
As from the seeker's mind, a vision grows.
A truth eternal born of wisdom's might!
Trapped in the forest,
These old stories carried youth into the woods.
Extraordinary dreams to hide in.
Polychromatic spectacles.
An old elf dozing there for years.
Invoking air, fire and water, leading dreamers down a wondrous path!
From Valhalla’s fortress of spears and shields,
Valkyrie riders make their daily runs…
Crossing Bifrost to Midgard’s battlefields,
Harvesting warriors till Ragnorak comes.
Flying from Valhalla on their war horses,
Thundering hooves beat like old battle drums,
Odin’s blond daughters watching the forces--
Harvesting warriors till Ragnorak comes.
Legionnaires, Pikemen, Hussars and Spartans;
Storm Troopers, Crusaders and Saracens;
Musketeers, Vikings, and Gladiators;
Watusi, Cossacks, and Conquistadors.
As long as men hear the sounds of war drums,
They’ll harvest the best till Ragnorak comes.
Valkyries search for those to stand vanguard,
Recruiting Odin’s Einherjar armies.
Warriors pass Valgrind to live in Asgard--
Honored to be served by the Valkyries.
Hoplites, Commandoes, and Mujahideens;
Samurais, Yeomen, and US Marines;
Guerrilas, Dragoons, and Panzer Tankers;
Grenadiers, Mamelukes, and Bezerkers.
As long as men hear the sounds of war drums,
Valkyries harvest till Ragnorak comes.
I Walk With The Stars far from the lesser Creeds
Indeed, the Starseed breeds Greater Faculties
I Am Light Born, Light Forged by the Celestials
I Am Archetype Quintessential,
I Am Omnipotent by The Great Fire that Dwells Within
Upright like Djed Pillars unto Greater Firmaments,
Never So Low to Behold what was Long Foretold
that the Golden Temple within sits in Unmeasurable Gold,
to the High Heavens that Glisten, a Great Flame Has Risen
I Am Blissful, I Am Luminous by the Greater Intuition
Into the Ether where the Currents Of Life Rip
where All Is Wise, where All Is Electric
I Am Eccentric, where the soils toil in Egypt
I Am Israel, I Am a Citadel, Up High like Asclepius
I Am Born in High Hopes on High Roads, I Blaze like a Shooting Star
I Am Ever-Present, Ever-Excellent, Ever like Eagle to Asgard
I Am Ever-Glowing, Ever-Flowing far from the Subpar
I Am VICTORIOUS, I Am ILLUMINED, for I Walk With The Stars
