When It Rains It Pours

In the silence of your mind,
thoughts overflow like your cup is running over
But you stay strong and confident like a soldier.
In the face of treat, you hold your composure.
Cold shoulder, pain that's in the eyes of the beholder.
Blockage to your heart, being protected by a boulder.

A mockingbird that's never been killed
It pours on this end, like when hearing the funeral bells
Like May, June rain every day it fall.
A philosopher in the making,
Something like Plato in his prime.
Or Shakespeare one of a kind.

You stay on your grind for the blessings to grow over time
Stay through to your nature
Like being in your natural habitat.

Mother's words hit harder now that you're older
Like yesterday to today now having to look over your shoulder.

They mistake kindness for weakness
Timid for scared
Helping out for being ordered around
That's the type of stigma when you're young.

When it rains, it pours over here
Blessings in abundance
Bless beyond years of hardship
Like the titanic but this ship won't sink.

Thinking about it and complaining about it at the same time
I'm one in the making like Walther Rodney
These steady strong bones was meant to brake wave
Like Mark Anthony I'm the definition of brave.

I OPENED A DOOR
AND FOUND MYSELF
STANDING ON WHAT SEEMED
LIKE A MILLION ACRES
OF FARM LAND.

THE TEMPERATURE
FELT VERY HOT.
I WOULD SAY
IN THE HIGH EIGHTIES.
AND HUMID, VERY HUMID.
LIKE MID WEST HUMIDITY
IN LATE JULY
OR EARLY AUGUST.

I WAS WAITING
FOR THE CLOUDS TO UNLEASH
THAT MID SUMMER
THUNDER STORM
AND TO MAGICALLY
BRING THE FIELDS TO LIFE.

WHAT REALLY
SEEMED OUT OF PLACE
WAS THIS BEAUTIFUL STRETCH
OF LAND WAS COMPLETELY
BARE OF ALL VEGETATION.

AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE.
IN EVERY DIRECTION.
NO CROPS.
NO GREEN FIELDS.
NO FARMING MACHINERY.
NO WATERING SYSTEM.
NO INDICATION
OF LIFE OF ANY KIND.

I HAD TO ASK MYSELF
THE QUESTION
WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON?
WAS I IN THE FUTURE
OR THE PAST.
THIS COULDN'T POSSIBLY
BE PRESENT DAY.
OR WAS IT?
PRESENT DAY IN THE FUTURE?

I THOUGHT TO MYSELF
WAS THIS LAND NOT NEEDED?
WAS THERE AN ABUNDANCE
OF FOOD SUPPLY?
WAS THIS LAND
DELIBERATELY
UN FARMED
TO CREATE A FOOD SHORTAGE?

WHY WAS I HERE?
WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO SEE
IF THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE?

AT THE SAME TIME
I SEE LOSS OF LIFE,
EVEN IF, IT'S ONLY CROPS.

IN A WAY I SEE
THE STARVATION
OF FARM LAND.
PREVENTING MOTHER NATURE
FROM PRODUCING
OR REPRODUCING LIFE.

LIFE IS GREAT,
FANTASTIC,
INCREDIBLE
AND AT TIMES
UNBELIEVABLE.

THIS SCENIC VISION IS
UN BELIEVABLE.
SIMPLY.... UNBELIEVABLE.

Live each moment here
With a heart of joy;
Live each blessing dear
With a fine employ.

Love brings true plenty
In surge of beauty;
Love brings mystery
In urge so comely.

Hope sculpts harmony
With zest that inspires;
Hope sculpts mindfully
With deep profound fire.

Faith attracts bright things
In feeling grand good;
Faith attracts sure flings
In wise thoughts and moods.

Walk each day with more
Than enough joy here;
Walk with truth galore
That sparks poignant cheer.

Blessings flow and grow
To uplift each day;
Abundance now shows
To enrich your way.

Intent a grand smile
In your curious face;
Indulge a warm style
To flood time and space.

Live true peace of mind
In all that you do;
Live with a heart kind
That finds healing too.

Start to awake now
Conscious awareness;
Start to feel endow
With love's gentleness.

At day's ending,
Feed gratitude soul;
At night's resting
Feel thanksgiving whole.

Blessings can be found
Here and all around;
Blessings fill your grounds
Now where peace abounds.

I anticipate the first rays as morning draws near.
The day approaches with an abundance of fear.
I gaze into the depth of the cold darkness of night,
Shyly waiting for the solace of days early light.
As I ponder what exists below the illuminating stars,
Soon the sun’s rays will stream through my prison bars.
Bent and refracted as they enter, invading my seclusion.
Dust filled spires of wistful mist add to my confusion.
Shafts of gaudy light split by the bars of my prison cell.
Please enter pretty sun beams to my man-made hell.
Yet another day has begun. The sun praise let it be.
Misty light laughs at me, knowing I will never be free.

I stand by God’s well of blessings daily
As He invites me to enjoy them tremendously.
There He assures me of His eternal presence wondrously
With His providence and protection always covering me truly!

I draw living waters from God’s well of salvation
Whenever I lose my joy because of pride and transgression.
There I remember Christ’s sacrificial work for my regeneration
With His bruises and wounds for my forgiveness and justification!

I stay freely at God’s well of contentment
As He welcomes me to His satisfying replenishment.
There He comforts my soul, so weary of worldly entertainment
With His caring instruction and admonition that cure my envy’s ailment!

I desire to get near God’s well of revival
Whenever I’m discouraged at my earthly survival.
There He empowers me to cling to Him for His approval
With His strength and might to prepare me for Christ’s arrival!

I linger joyfully around God’s well of refreshing
As He meets me to commune with Him in His nourishing.
There He listens to my plight, answers my queries, never rushing
With His enlightening wisdom and correcting counsel worth cherishing!

I quench my emptiness along God’s well of abundance
Whenever I’m impoverished out of vain struggles and fleshly compliance.
There He enriches me with trials, filled with promises of His ready guidance
With His Word of hope and cheer, polishing my faith to shine in His brilliance!

I rest beside God’s well of peace and calmness
As He greets me after labouring in His kingdom’s business.
There He offers to me triumph’s sweetness in fellowship*’s closeness
With His blessings and rewards to my faithfulness thru His loving kindness!

My Father Christmas

Nov.'16

A bag called love, Full of abundance, All, for each 'child', Until it's empty.
No baubles but gifts, Enough for friends, Goodies for life with, Bigger to come.
Sweet meats & puzzles, With parcels of Guidance, Moments of clarity, justice & peace. The path is laid out for me, Shared with the family, 24/7 Each day's exciting.

Most assuredly, for America,
These are not the best of times,
nor are these the worst of times.

Times have been worst and there is no
promise of better days ahead. History for good
or bad is already set in stone, but what lies ahead
can be much affected and influenced by how we
respond in the present. America's currently stormy
political climate evokes anguish, tears, and pain.

In all of my observing years, I have not witnessed a more
divisive time exemplified in all three government areas.
It appears that the executive, legislative, and judiciary
arenas of government are suffering gravely.

I pray that the present weather turbulence in our country
does not signal a similar tornadic crisis in our political future.
In light of our present status, I pray not for blessings because
we presently are bathing in abundance, but my prayer is that
God will send us a deluge of His bountiful mercies.

Twenty, Twenty-Six

“You crown the year with Your goodness,
And Your paths drip with abundance.”
Psalm 34:11 NKJV

The year, two thousand, twenty six,
a year packaged with promises
like all years in the past have been...
a year of doubting Thomases
and those who take it on the chin.

Times’ passage is pretty well-fixed.
Of course, I’ll bring the drama, says
one who needs and seeks audience.
The year will spawn some trauma, ‘tis
expected from experience.

When eight billion folks intermix,
“why” and “how” of their premises
varies greatly, triggers tension
which aims to crush one’s nemesis.
Passions take on hate’s dimension.

Thus so, this twenty, twenty-six
may more try what the psalmist said
to crown this year with God’s goodness.
Share divine peace and calm instead
with love that only He could bless.

Giving Godly Grace

"Why be human? Why not Godly? Let's emulate Him"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Give few grains of rice to birds, a handful can feed many
In serving selflessly spend your day, all are a part of God though many
Verily God is everywhere, everything his manifestation
In helping others never shirk, you get back what is given
Never be negative, isn't everything created by Him
Graciously give for you are transient holder, all belongs to Him
Glorious God loves us unconditionally, has given so much free
Often we get egoistic, thinking all belongs to me
Delusion makes us forget God is the giver
Loss can happen any moment, we may become receiver
Yearn to share all you have, never be a hoarder
Grateful for the opportunity to serve, become a giving freak
Reap benefits of joy and peace, will get in abundance all you seek
Always smile, be positive and happy, when faith is firm nothing is bleak
Carefully lead your life, be good to all, don't sin
Everlasting bliss and joy will be yours if you treat all as kin
