Lord God, You Are My Heart Searcher
June 20 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Psalms 139-143
Key Verse – Psalm 139:231 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY HEART SEARCHER
Lord God, You are my heart Searcher since You know me well
Thank You for understanding my thoughts in my brain cell
Please compass my path with Your guarding bell
As You beset me by Your hands that reached me from hell.
Lord God, You are my heart Searcher since You lead me by Your righteousness
Thank You for lighting my life to subdue sin-caused darkness
Please cleanse my filthiness with Your holiness
As You possess me midst Your goodness.
Lord God, You are my heart Searcher since You made me marvellously
Thank You for fashioning my personality toward Christlikeness beautifully
Please awaken my commitment to do Your will constantly
As You check me for my sincerity earnestly.
Lord God, You are my heart Searcher since You preserve me by Your deliverance
Thank You for keeping my testimony against haughty arrogance
Please hear my supplications with Your assurance
As You sustain me by Your abundance and guidance.
Lord God, You are my heart Searcher since You set me in Your care
Thank You for reproving my unbelief midst calamities’ stare
Please guard my soul against crises’ scare
As You protect me by Your compassionate welfare.
Lord God, You are my heart Searcher since You attend to me in my complaint
Thank You for considering my situation as Your feeble saint
Please hear my cry while in temptations I faint
As You deal with me according to Your Word without taint.
Lord God, You are my heart Searcher since You answer me with Your certainty
Thank You for smiting my pride for me to practice humility
Please enclose my spirit within Your security
As You teach me through Your truth’s surety.
