Grow Up

faithful + libidinal
misbehavior is alien
one above is inside me
spitting it out is nauseating
a withdrawal from swallowing
from something I once did I once
I said, I never did at all, I never did at

kneel only for aim do not enrich
yourself, keep cathexis in the cathedral
crucifix your eyes on don’t be cross don’t

obsess but be obsessive it plays inside me wrong
it’s wrong repress rep re
you’ll grow but not up, never
up or downtown you’ll be found and be wrung and the
latter is always Eros making you fall into a trap so you’ll
reach that rung late

to exist is to choose, make your choice choose don’t lose
your faith but bottle up libido, bottle up til you are old enough
to drink it, til you are old enough to exist, cough it out now cough

Acta Non Verba

riding the crest
of a libidinal wave
unknown encounter
of an unfulfilling escapade
she is
wants repeated protestations
of undying love abyss
 abyssum invocat
life is a journey
of hills and valleys
they say
she says
acta non verba
 i am laughing

Beasts On Two Legs

I heard a cry,

A lad of four bled

After having quenched

Her Dad's libidinal thirst

I saw the door open,

Brother and sister walked out,

Adam's forbidden apple having been eaten

As instructed in the blood-house of money

In New York I heard a cry,

Woman was on woman

While man and man got glowed

In the vastness of democracy and human rights

From Yaounde down to Abuja,

I saw exposed human breasts, stomachs

And laps in clothes made for whores

In lands where emancipation is madness

By 2035 while Camkingdom rises to shine,

Breasts shall hang out, our Mums shall go naked,

Eliminating unborns as ordained in Macputu... We are beasts on two legs!
