ball is always round like Zero's count
foot ball cricket ball lawn tennis ball table tennis ball
consciously or unconsciously in love people fall
Stars planets and the earthly ground
whole Universe's assumed to be found round
so perhaps with that instinct all are tuned
Lawn Tennis at Wimbledon
I watched tennis this afternoon
was a great event held every year,
semi final at Wimbledon, an important game
in the heat, perspiration fell like tears
Was a Serbian and an Argentinian
both a credit to the game
The Argentinian had an injured knee
played with fervour just the same
He lost but his name will never be forgot
He played for his country with pride
went to 5 sets in terrible heat,
No energy did they have left inside
Djokovic won, was one hell of a match
Del Potro lost but with head held up high
this game was an inspiration to all
they managed to joke instead of cry
Any young people learning this game
should watch a video to see it well played
showing 2 players at their best with
A gentlemen’s game being portrayed.
Andy Murray a Scotsman from the UK went on to be Wimbledon Champion
Football is a fine game
Many were given fame
Lawn tennis is the same.
